Hello Shemi, this is one of my favourite products but I was so upset to find my pots of lustre had dried out.
I did as you directed and put water in the pots, left them to soften then tipped off the excess water so they weren't too wet when mixed, into a little container.
Looking at the coloured water with mica shimmering in it that I had poured into the little container I had a thought, why not put it into a little spray bottle and see if it created a shimmering spray, it worked but was a little pale in colour so I added a little of the softened lustre and was very pleased with the result. Thank you for the lustre revival it also worked on my Inka Gold. Janice

Shemi, I am a woodturner. I recently used this product to color an apple I turned. I watered it down with denatured alcohol so the grain would be visible. Next time I will try water. Thanks, I had a hard time finding info on using artdeco wax.

hello shemi, first....i loooooove your videos!!! You are an amazing artist :-)
I've been using the metallic lustres for a while now and I found out that if you wet your finger each time you pick up the paste, it's much more easy to apply and the results are way more even and beautiful :-)
    much love, Yvonne

Thank you for this demo. As far as I'm concerned Inka Gold is crap once it dries out. This product looks Amazing

It seems to be just like Inka Gold. I have some of the IG that have dried out...does anyone know how to redeem them? Thanks for any ideas🙂 And Shemi, your videos and ideas are awesome and I love watching you! Thank you for all you do for us🌺
Well! Had I waited til the end of the video to make my comment (question) I would have seen that you have the answer I needed! Thanks again, Shemi, forgive my 60+ brain, it's a little slow on the uptake sometimes🙂

Sue Chesley I think you can spritz it with distilled water and let it soak up the moisture.

Sorry I know this is an old video, but i just picked some of this up today for the first time. I know it's supposed to be a paste, but I'm wondering if mine is dried out a bit? When I try to get some on my finger or piece of clothe, some of it is more crumbly than pastey.

Hi Emily , You can spray some watering the paste and screw on the top . Let it sit overnight. It should become a paste again. Thanks

I have several of these and they have all dried out. Much easier to use before it dries out. So annoying when you open jar to find it has dried out, because it totally loses it's creaminess! I can use it, for most purposes, by grabbing a drird chunk and placing it in the palm of my hand, then I wet a finger on my other hand (multiple times) and use my wet finger to kind of mix the chunk around in my palm, until I have enough wax on my finger to apply to my surface.

    • @GiseleGrenier

If you mean to mix in with resin, no you can't. The resin won't cure.

Love your demo and I also love this product! I have a few of these in my stash; matter of fact I just purchased "white frost" yesterday! Now I really need the beautiful orange one! 🙂 Thanks for demonstrating how to reconstitute it when it dries out. I always look forward to your your inspiring videos!
