Gonna be honest, the pip approach to the in-video sponsored section is a fantastic approach. I normally scroll out of the ad because it's almost never relevant, but having relevant video still playing while running through the ad made me sit through it and not feel overly shilled to. Kudos for that approach.
Ha! I just finished installing new T-track on my miter station about 30 minutes ago! Proceeded to look for a stop block solution. What timing! Cheers, my fellow Ashevillian!
Awesome! Love how you reuse your older projects and adjust them to fit your current need :) Also: please don't be ashamed on how it looked before! I bet you had a lot of work and stress due to the new shop building. you cannot do everything at once and thats totally normal!
I had an idea while building my miter station. I used adjustable leveling legs flipped upside down under the drop down section and it's so much easier to hone in the perfect height. I did this in case I decide to get a new miter saw and it ends up being a different height than my current one.
can you provide a link to the plastic indicator that you mounted onto the t-track wood piece to get your self-adhesive measuring tape accurately setup?
If you use a longer stop block you can then cut it and start your tape measure from 0. Then it’s easy to check in the future if it’s still accurate, set it at 0” and lower the saw blade.
It's a set of lowers. Unless you overload the top drawers and plan to open them up all at the same time, the top being screwed down is more than enough.
Smart forward thinking idea on the set of drawer boxes. What is the name of the tracks/fences used on the old set up? They look like they could be used on a portable miter station.
Wish you would have provided a link to the clear lens cursor that mounts to the edge of the stop block and lines up with the measuring tape. I can’t find that part anywhere.
Just bought the plans. I have the dewalt sliding compound mitre saw though, do you think increasing the table size to 30” would work? It’s pretty big, but it was a deal I couldn’t pass on. Thanks
I have a good video on how to install T-track in thin tops! Basically just use small machine screws and a nut from the underside, it’s much stronger! I have a video on it
I have a question about something you did a few years ago. I figure asking on your newest video will help it with the algorithm. My daughter is building a tiny house and wants to put a multi zone mini split in it. She has the same issue that you had in your video, DIY MULTI-ZONE Ductless MINI SPLIT Installation in New Construction! Small rooms with a 9K handler. What I was wondering was, did it work out well for you? Any thoughts I can share with her? Thanks.
Garages are not for cars. They are for workshops and storage. And sometimes a guest bedroom suite. I've never parked a car in any of the garages I've ever had, primarily because the two car garages have never been wide enough for two actual vehicles and we've usually had either 3 or 4 vehicles on site.
Awesome job on this build! I purchased the plans immediately after watching weeks ago and to date have only received a .jog file. When I go to your site, the date keeps changing to later and later in June. Any idea on when these will be finalized?
My neighbor is from Japan. She was saying the other day that she just cannot believe that people have “stuff” in their garage and do not park in it. I laughed to myself and thought “but you should see my woodshop!”😂
I wish you had shown how you chose to permanently level the station. You showed shimming the legs. Those shims were visible for several minutes of the video then disappeared without explanation.
Hi again, still trying to make contact about the refund. If it wasn't such a pain to get ahold of you in the first place I wouldn't have even asked for a refund, however, I feel like I am being ignored. Could you please just issue my refund? Thank yous so much

Kudo's - nice to see a maker actually making something of UA-cam rather the just selling things. Keep doing it!
What a great idea to have a 'box of drawers.' Very cool.

I love the way you added the messing tape and it can be fine tuned with the stop block.
I highly recommend relocating the t-track behind the miter saw fence. This way you can make flip stops and random cuts are uninterrupted.
Consider scribe ripping some 3/4” plywood for baseboard molding. It’ll keep saw dust out and lock your shims in place. Nice project. Short and Sweet

Simple, reliable, 100% space saving solution.
Great video. You should see what a mess my garage is. I'm in the process of cleaning it out and returning it to a functioning shop.
I'm in that process now.
Every upload is an absolute banger
Fantastic. Love the drawer idea for a modular reuse idea.
Nice Saw station ! Good Idea, this T-Track Stop Block on the station ! Good Job ! 👍🏻😉
Fantastic work, Johnny! It turned out great! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
THE CRAFTSMAND DRAWER CHEST BACK THERE LOOKS INSANE
I have nothing to say really, but I appreciate your content, and wish to help with the yt-algorithms.
Very nice, I wish I had that much talent!
Johnny, thanks for a great idea to get rid of some shop scraps! Great job!
Nice job on the miter saw station Johnny! Thanks for sharing the video with us!💖😎👍JP
Sounds like @13:20 your stop block hit the miter saw bed. May be a millimeter to high

I like to see how you made the drop down for the chop saw!
Nice build
Nice stand

Congrats on 1M subs 🙌🏼
One idea is to allow your workbench top to over hang by an inch or two so that you can attach clamps.
I paid for the pre-order. Are the plans ready yet? I haven't seen them. Thanks.
Same. When will the plans be ready?
I still haven’t gotten my plans as well
I just sent an email with the plans, sorry for the delay!
Looks good, trim around the top is a nice touch. Only thing anchoring it to the wall is the top?
It's a set of lowers. Unless you overload the top drawers and plan to open them up all at the same time, the top being screwed down is more than enough.
@@gXXrGoNe stranger things have happened in my shop. Never know when something heavy is involved
7:24 Jaime Perkins just sat up in his chair.
Will this work for a dewalt 779 miter saw?
What is the HEPA/shop vac unit at the end of the right hand bench?
Smart forward thinking idea on the set of drawer boxes. What is the name of the tracks/fences used on the old set up? They look like they could be used on a portable miter station.
Are you moving that old workbench to the bigger shop?
How do you keep the shims on the bottom of the bench legs, the ones touching the floor, in place?
I just cut them flush and they stay put, the weight of the bench keeps them in place.
your link did not answer my question so what brand model of miter saw?
Wish you would have provided a link to the clear lens cursor that mounts to the edge of the stop block and lines up with the measuring tape. I can’t find that part anywhere.
So you’re not gonna provide the link?
Have fun.

It is model dws779
I don’t think that should cause any issues!

Has a $1,600 miter saw; uses 2x4s for its station. My kind of project!
Are plans for the drawers included with the plans?
I have the same question???
what blade do you use in your oso molti tool for your work
Was getting ready to buy the plans for this project.
Glad I read the comments first.
What's up with that?
The plans are live now, they got delayed due to my kids being sick 🤢
Hey Johnny, I just bought these plans from your site but all I get is the first page of pdf. Are the full plans available yet?? Cheers!
I just sent an email with the plans, sorry for the delay!
Looks great
Curious what you did with the old workbench now that it has no drawers. 🤔🧐
Crazy how far things went in terms of miter saw station designs. Anybody remember the Jay Bates' design?

Have you ever used laser modules in your projects ?
I just got the plans but not downloading or seeing them.
Same. Preorder saw keeps changing as well from 5th now showing 8th. Just assuming he’s been busy and sketchup isn’t finished yet.

Hi can you also send the plans over as I do not have the complete steps for the cabinet drawers.
@jordaneast188 they are included in the zip file in a separate PDF.

A car is a terrible waste of shop space.
If you live somewhere where it does not rain then you are correct
@@smashyrashy Hey, rain is a free car wash. Although parking under trees leads to bird poop and sap, which is a problem.
