I know it's probably not necessarily the most enjoyable job in terms of the amount of actual effort and work that really would probably go into just how much you have to move around with such viscous and hard to maneuver material but it always looks so damn satisfying and every time I see a video like this it makes me want to find a local candy shop that does this sort of thing so I can try out this job...

Whats wrong with the way is made? Just because you avoid this type of candy or any other doesn't guarantee you a long ĺife. You can literally get hit by a car and your candy free body will end just the same. Even the organic stuff is laughable as most gets made by one company and various brands buy it and put their sticker brand name on it lol😂

I have had Type-2 diabetes since November 2011 which I hate as it has made me have to cut down on my candy intake which sucks as I have a big sweet tooth but when I do eat my small serve of sweets I appreciate it more when I have it less.

They cool down. They stretch and stuff because they're warm/hot and by the end, they cool down and get harder. It's really cool in my opinion.
how can i make this candy hard and prevent it from sticking or being chewy after it dry? what do i need to add else than sugar water and syrup?
All I can add make sure you using a candy thermometer , or add less water
