Angus is my all time fav guitar player, my first guitar was a cherry red SG like his, but when asked about ppl referring to him as the GOAT he responded: "Greatest guitar player in the world? Im not even the greatest guitar player in my band." Thats how humble he is and how much respect and reverence he had for his big bro Malcolm RIP \m/
I saw them in 1991. My friends and I bought tickets from a scalper. Nose bleeds on the right side of the stage. There were only 3 of us up there. Angus would come over to our side and wave to us every once in a while. That made our seats seem like the best in the house. I love my AC/DC.❤
Never compare the singers. Bon was an incredible lyricist and signer for his work. Brian came in under extremely difficult circumstances and rocked just as hard and sings incredibly well for the music he wrote. It’s a rare moment in music history that is difficult for anyone.
The thing is, Brian didn't write much. And it's pretty obvious that Bon wrote most of Back in Black before he died. Bon was an amazing lyricist, and singer, had amazing stage presence, and just overall swagger. Glad Brian kept it going but there is no comparison.
Absolute true. Still, Bon is my favourite. Brian deserve more, but honestly, with Bon they were MUCH better. In the lyrics, in the performance. Bon was plain sex, drugs and rock, Brian never was that kind of guy. But Brian for sure is the finest "super-rock-star-frontman" in the showbusiness, and he helped to create ACDC in its HUGE, very succsessfull version. I still think hard about Back-in-Black with Bon Scott :D
@@steffenjonda8283 fools say “they were much better” while Brian sold more, made more money and continued to reward the fans by living a responsible life
@@chuckrambo4401 i wouldn´t say so. Because Brian IS a perfect replacement. If you have the choice to dissolve because you lost the lead singer or to find the very best replacement possible - and also one of the finest persons in that business - then you go with the second path. Still, for me Bon was "better" for AC/DC, because the music WITH bon was better (to me). More selling copies gives a sh1t, because Metallia with Master of puppets was WAY better then later... selling more. But the Brian-time is still perfect, because Bon´s lifespan was short. He would have need to change, say his wife (i think he was married?) could have give birth and he changes a bit or he has some near-death experience, what ever. Otherwise he would have died in the next 2-4 years. Had they done Back in Black with him, they would have the same succsess - ACDC was ready for it. But if he had died after that, maybe the next 2-3 albums had been a bit "better" (in the sense dirtier and harder with Bons influence, but hard is the wrong wording) the follow up would have had an even higher mountain to climb. Still, brian would have achived it. In my opinion. Every time i give Bon the lead, i want to appologize to Brian.
My nephew told me about 8 years ago when he was around 14 or 15 that he had a great new band for me to listen to. He said it was AC/DC. I told him yes they were really good. I didn’t have the heart to tell him I had been listening to them since early 70’s.

Angus’ preconcert ritual is sitting in a chair backstage noodling on his guitar drinking hot tea until someone gives him the 5 min left sign. When he was younger it was chocolate milk instead of tea.
AC/DC have had 3 main lead vocals - Dave Evans ( November 1973 to October 1974) - replaced by Bon Scott (October 1974 to 19 February 1980 - his passing) - Brian Johnson ( 1980 to 2016 ( stepped away from performing due to hearing problems) - re-joined AC/DC in 2019. Brian Johnson is ACDC's 3rd singer. He took over for Bon Scott (after his death) in 1980. Bon Scott took over for Dave Evans (their 1st singer back in 1973). Bon Scott, Angus, Malcolm and Cliff (bass) were all born in Scotland and moved to Australia when they were kids. Brian Johnson was born and raised in Newcastle England. This makes the drummer, Phil Rudd, the only true Aussie in the band.
Cliff was born in England not Scotland & never moved to Australia, yes the others where born in Scotland but all came here when they where young & Malcolm & Angus formed AC/DC here in Australia & when they went overseas for the first time was bankrolled but Ted Albert of Albert Record's an Australian company so yes Phil maybe the only Australian born member of the band but they are & forever will be an Australian band 💕👏👏👏

Ac/DC is always a great choice. Let me also suggest *The Warning* - 3 sisters who grew up on classical piano lessons and the rock of the '70s and '80s. Then their Dad gave them the Rock Band video game and they are now working on their 4th album, touring Europe, and supporting Muse, Guns 'n' Roses, Three Days Grace, and Halestorm. Angus Young only uses ONE Guitar, that's why whenever you can't see him, he plays, so there's no break in the sound. When he plays 'The Jack' an he does his little 'Strip-Tease' that's just so his Guitar-Tech can just make sure the Guitar is in tune, It's amazing what goes on backstage, that the ordinary fan wouldn't see! 😎😊

The trouble with AC/DC reactions is that the people hear/watch songs with singer Brian Johnson, when the original singer of a lot of their songs was Bon Scott. I don't understand why people do this? Perhaps because so many people these days forget that music is for the ears, not the eyes. Listen/watch the original video of the song with Bon.ua-cam.com/video/3f2g4RMfhS0/v-deo.html
Well, the quality of the recordings of the bon-scott-time is quite bad.
