The first time I heard this powerful song was the day I lost my beautiful nephew whom I raised .. Wakanyeja ♥️ he nearly took me with him on his journey and I never felt so much devastation... crushed by it's tremendous weight I thought I was going to lose my grip on reality.. I could not listen to this song.. He passed away a little over a month ago and I was healing but then this past week reality sank it and I realized he’s not gonna be here to see me graduate next spring from college. Sept 30th I lost my everything as heaven gained another Angel. In the midst of watching continuous animal videos trying to cheer my son up this video started to play. I was so taken back by the soulfully breathtaking dance that my words were stolen. when I clicked on the video to play it again only then did I read the meaning and hear the equalling breathtaking song. I have never in my lifetime of 52 years been so touched and forever grateful for the gift of peace you've blessed my way. My mother absolutely adored this. She passed away on October 19th this year after a difficult year and a half long fight with cancer. She would put this on and listen peacefully both before and after she got sick.
We played this at her funeral and it was very difficult to hold back tears. Such a touching and beautiful piece of music and the dance is very moving.
I listen to this from time to time and think of her. I miss her very much and she went well before we thought she would.

We all have to go some day, and I can only hope that my presence means as much to someone as hers meant to me.

I am losing a very dear aunt to alzheimer's. She has been fighting valiantly for 3 years to keep her spirit here for her husband. Two nights ago she had a massive stroke and cannot eat, drink. She signed an dnr (do not resuscitate order. That means she is in a coma like state, and cannot respond to most stimuli. Bit even stronger is my dear uncle Jack! He has been by her side no matter the hardships. My prayer is that she will finally let go of this world to be with her son and parents in the sky world. Supaman! I found this song at my deepest s dispair. Thank you for sharing such a rare a beautiful dance. It just reminded me that even in our darkest times that there is always something to give you comfort.

I can relate to what you are going through as my mom had a fight with horrible affliction! I can only hope your aunt will find her way back to good memories of her childhood. You may even want to start a conversation with this in hopes of triggering them for her. With my mom, it was memories of her going out trapping with her parents. I would often say please tell me about going out trapping and away she would go with a smile on her as if she were there again. Head dressed dancing too we had witnessed together every year also would take her to a place of peace and happiness. Eating corn bread, whatever you find from her talking about that was good. If she ever gets bad ones, again, steer her by using this trick.
It may cause you a touch of pain since they will not remember as their relative doing this, but it so worth it to be called "the nice lady" to see her face light up and her big smile.

My wife is native American, her grandfather lived with us for a while while he battled cancer. He and I became close, he taught me about his people, Sundance, sweatlodge, he would sit outside in the early morning listening to drum music. I personally dealt with a lot of demons from the past and it all seemed to get better the few short years he was here with us. We lost him about 6 years ago, his humming bird feeder still sits outside where humming bird still visit. His great grandson has his eyes and it feels like you can see him through his eyes.
I am a very political person and my youtube feed is littered with politics. This video randomly came up on my feed. I beleive Ray is still with us, this video convinces me of that. I remember him with every humming bird that visits, every crow I see outside my window, everything my daughter does something funny, every time I see his grandson.
