The 400 class is the best racing I have seen since I started going to the races in 2013. I'm looking forward to seeing how you guys do in PA and can't wait to see the world championships in Jan/Feb.
As you and Bean were talking the rotation at the start I was thinking a 46. That's without seeing a track map and a rotation. Lots of corners but room to use the horses.
Nice to see you again Eric. I don't suppose it'd be much trouble to put the driver and navigators name when showing the position and round before the races? I can't keep track of who's in what boat from run to run. lol
@@JollyRoger907 Possible a progressive cam on the throttle body? That give you a slow rollin on the throttle, but usually from 1/2 throttle on it would be normal. That way the pedal travel would be the same as you're used to.
If it were in the same boat I’d agree. These are completely different to drive. The other thing is it would appear that more looks would make the rotation easier….i actually found it a lot more difficult to stay focused for that many laps, was holding on by a thread at times. But I do get your point. And…it’s not an advantage if everyone is allowed to do it right? 😬
To me and maybe I'm crazy but it doesn't seem like a turbo is the right boost choice for a sprint boat. I'd think a supercharger of some flavor would be much more responsive then a turbo
Depends on the track. I knew Webb’s would be challenging with a turbo but they definitely can work on bigger tracks. We’ll see next weekend, back to port Angeles!
Thinking about what you said about no disappointed sprint boat fans. Got me thinking. #1 the whole deal is just bada$$ any way you look at it. Big beastly engines, nimble and stupid quick boats, easy to view for a fan, and the right kind of drama. In contrast we travel from Southern Indiana to Guntersville Alabama or San Diego Cali with the unlimiteds. Dominate all weekend. Then get washed out by another driver during milling killing the turbine. Refire and still win the final heat just for H1 to say "you dropped below 80mph during milling so we are penalizing you a full minute. You lose. Or on a dirt track 2 cars spin and track favorite gets his spot back and other guy goes to the tail. The sprint boat setup avoids bad drama! Sorry for the H1 rant. They have poorly thought out rules and use them to determine outcomes as they see fit.
Oh man I can feel your frustration there. I follow F1 and watch the stewards change race outcomes all the time. This sport has an incredible upside potential. It’s frustrating to see it struggle.
Ok I I pay attention, but… why does Bean have different gloves for each boat? The pink is more visible, but….is it because maybe different fuels or something?

Jen is co pilot in the 360 boat that's her and chris boat remember
@@JollyRoger907 I saw her on the test drive, I knew it was the plan, but the brain farts were flowing pretty good I guess! I’m always watching and commenting as it goes… so there is no clue what you may see from me🤣😂
I challenge yee old cleeter to take the infamous chicane flat out........ you know he would try 🤣 Nice to see that litle restoration as well. I remember that boat 👍
I hope I'm not the only one who gets a raised heart rate watching the onboard camera video. This is so freaking badass.
lol you ok? 🤣
@JollyRoger907 I'm good. This is just cool to watch. I love almost all kinds of racing. This has to be one of the most intense.
Wow , that is a lot of driving for one guy in those rockets ! Well done.
It was exhausting lol 😂
From a drag racing background, the sprint boaters are the KINGS of racing, nicest people ever.
It’s overall a great bunch of people for sure.
Did bean do the edit again? I like the hook reel at the end!! Great job as always!
She does all of our TikTok, this was all me. Wait til you see the intro 😬😳
Another great video man... Love your work👌🤟
Thank you! I liked how this edit turned out!

It’s a crazy-tight class! Everyone having similar motors & pumps really makes it competitive!
Love the onboards makes me wish my jet fishing boat had more ponies lol
Yeah that video angle is pretty cool!
Great video Eric
Thank you! Pretty happy how it turned out.
I saw you driving south from Bellingham with the boat! It’s looking good!!!
Ha that’s awesome! Alex our engine builder is up in Vancouver so had to go get it!
Looking forward to seeing you and your team race in Port Angeles. I'll be there September 8th. I'll come and say hi to you and Bean.
We’ll be there!!!

Yeah we were pretty close on that guess

Ahhhh good idea! I shouldn’t assume people just know that 360 = Jen and 39 = Bean! Look for that on video #2
Are you planning on bringing any merch to NZ ?
Short answer is yes, I just don’t know how much or what. Typically hats
@@JollyRoger907 thankyou
Congratulations 🎉
Thanks Robert!
I'm such a dork! LMAO I just caught myself leaning so much trying to go faster I almost fell outta my chair! Good luck team!!!
This is hilarious 👆
great video, and great edit style... only had one issue... you turned "right" and I thought it was supposed be a "left".... flipped office chair....
Thank you, I’m pretty happy how that turned out! Be careful !!! 🤣
Great Driving !
Thanks Steven! I was pretty fired up.
I think it's due to perspective of the cameras but the 400 looks way quicker. Crazy tight track you guys have got
The times were almost identical, I knew they would be. That track is NOT a superboat track lol.
How many G’s do these boats pull?
3-4 regularly, capable of 6+ if you crank the wheel
Wouldn't increasing the gas pedal throw help prevent spinning out the impeller? It'd slow down the initial stab of the pedal.
There’s a lot of variables that go into losing grip. But that pedal was definitely excessive!

It may be an advantage to run both classes

Yes, I commented too soon.
I comment as I watch.
Laughing my ass off over here! Are we straight now? 🤣
@@JollyRoger907 yes. I’m sober🤣😂
Is Chris and Jen's boat rebuildable? Or will you need to start over?
Anything is rebuttable, just depends how much time & effort you want to put into it!
I would like to see you in OZ track's in 400 and unlimited long way to play
Will be racing in NZ in November! Come on over
Crap, has it been two boats and navigators the whole time.
Maybe I should have watched this whole sober….
lol this made me laugh! Yep boat 360 is Jen & I. Boat 39M is Bean & i
