I factory-ordered a Platinum w/ Dark Matter paint, Carmelo interior. Other than lacking a head-up display (which the Navigator has), it checks just about every box on my checklist. The 15" center screen was definitely a big selling point for me, and was actually one of the deciding factors to go with the Expedition instead of another Navigator (I'm currently on my 4th). Also really like the BlueCruise and the overall updated stying. Putting some of the center-console wood trim also on the dash would have been very nice and would have definitely brought the luxury feel up a notch. I do at least 50% highway driving, and on most highways I engage the hands-free BlueCruise and it steers and keeps a safe distance to whatever is in front of you; will slow down or stop if the car in front stops and then resume once the car in front starts to move again. Very comfortable ride on highway or rough dirt roads with the CCD (continuous controlled damping) shocks.

I just purchased a 22 expedition XLT. I typically go with a platinum or limited, but this XLT was loaded up and over 20K cheaper. Not having cooled seats in a platinum is a deal breaker, especially when I have them in my XLT!! The XLT was loaded with leather, heated/cooled seats, adaptive cruise, 20" blacked out wheels, captains chairs, running boards, and 12 " screen to name just a few. I like the smaller screen too. The only thing I've noticed that I would miss on the limited is the sunroof. The fancier leather, badging, and other little bells and whistles are just not worth the additional money to me anymore. But overall, the expedition is a beast. The 3.5 ecoboost with 10 sp tranny is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ money!! This expedition drives like my 2018 Raptor, it's a very similar feel. I have this same tranny in my 21 F350 and love it, especially towing. I drove the jeep wagoneer and it was nice, really nice. Almost too nice for a domestic SUV. It was elegant and sexy. Overall, the performance on the Expedition was better and I trust the ford brand much more than Jeep. So, for 65K you can get a really nice loaded up XLT and I feel good about that. Paying 80K + for the limited just doesn't add that much more to justify the expense to me. Not surprisingly, I ended up with a F350 Lariat rather than a limited, KR, or Platinum. I found the same result on the Super Duty. It just wasn't worth another 20K with what you can get loaded on the the other trim packages.

Nice SUV, Ford has made a great deal of improvements. As to the others mentioned; Six figures for a Jeep??? Probably not. Not much of a GMC person so if I'm going for Domestic vs import I'll be looking at the Escalade ES in Premium Luxury Platinum trim.
Very talented presenter who bring a very good dynamic in showing up a vehicle! Beautiful truck inside out! nothing to envy from the competition! no ventilated seat in the back? Big deal!
“Integrated” is not the best way to describe that infotainment screen only because it’s much larger than the space it occupies. The screen is just invasive and looks like an afterthought. Ford just needed to trim that top portion down so it doesn’t interfere with that area on the dash behind the display, then it would actually look integrated.

The top trim should have come with curve-bending projector style headlights
Looks really good, but it should have a V8 option
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💕💖❤️❤️💖💖💖🥳🎉🎊🥳🎉🎊😘🥳🎉🎊😘🥳🎉🎊 FORD IS BACK ON MY "LOVE IT" LIST!!!!
Twinkie ads is what I signed up for! Gets me every time XD
Asking for a friend ... are you talking about 22 Roma tomatoes or hothouse tomatoes? On a serious note, though, beautiful vehicle and great review.
Nice SUV, Ford has made a great deal of improvements. As to the others mentioned; Six figures for a Jeep??? Probably not. Not much of a GMC person so if I'm going for Domestic vs import I'll be looking at the Escalade ES in Premium Luxury Platinum trim.
I'm pretty sure the platinum has the cooled seats along with massaging seats.
"I promised you 12.3"...I'm going to deliver" 😁😂😂 Fantastic...I guess 12" was not enough for some.
LMAO! Thanks for letting me share the laughs and the cars with you!
Very talented presenter who bring a very good dynamic in showing up a vehicle! Beautiful truck inside out! nothing to envy from the competition! no ventilated seat in the back? Big deal!
So, they took out the ventilated and massage features for 2022?
I didn’t know they still made those I always think of the 2005 version 😃
That rear tail windshield wiper strikes again!
This channel always makes me hungry lol digging the new expedition
“Integrated” is not the best way to describe that infotainment screen only because it’s much larger than the space it occupies. The screen is just invasive and looks like an afterthought. Ford just needed to trim that top portion down so it doesn’t interfere with that area on the dash behind the display, then it would actually look integrated.
You always do a great job! Love your commentaries. Have a 2020 Platinum Max, love it. The large screen in the 2022 is massive. Not sure I need it so big, other than that love the Expedition
Great job, Lori love your video's and I love this new refresh Expedition I like the peanut-butter interior.
Thanks for showing Lori some love!
YES GET RID OF THE PIANO BLACK AND DO MORE BRUSHED METAL GOOD JOB FORD
I totally agree with that!
Don’t like the big screen with the knob. Could have been done cleaner.
what liked about this was they added more power to the engine.
Great video.Thank you.I will get it soon for uber black and SUV.
Now I really want a Twinkie.
