I recently got a Rainbow, and I absolutely love it! I had a Dyson before that, and I loved it. But nothing compares to what the Rainbow can do. My floors have never been so clean, and I could not believe the grit the Rainbow got out that the Dyson left behind.Great video! I can't wait to see more.
+Tanya S : It sounds like you had almost the same experience that I had. Thats awesome. I am very glad you liked the video. Thank you for taking the time to comment.
Tanya S absolutely! My Rainbow is the best thing ever!! It kicked my Dyson’s butt! Best $ I’ve ever spent and my grandmother’s 50 + yr old one still works great!
I just recently joined Rainbow with the new model. Seeing a demo of it blew my mind. I haven’t looked back and now I sell them up north here. My dyson is in the basement collecting dust.. I was proud when I bought that thing and I said it was the best vacuum around. Clearly these rainbows are on another level of cleaning. And with all the attachments we have.. you can clean anything in the house.
Thank you for this video. I have always wanted to get a vacuum that will really work on carpet for my shedding dog. I just wasnt sure if it wold be worth my money. I cant wait to see a more specific test with just the rainbow. I also cant wait to here what music you decided to add in.
We have a Kirby....and now also a Rainbow. The Kirby has been retired. We actually used it to clean the carpet and flooring before the salesman arrived. We were amazed at what the rainbow still pulled out of the carpet. We actually called them because we had spilled some 2 day old home made hot chocolate in the carpet. Our carpet shampooer on the Kirby was not doing anything whatsoever. It just spread the smell around. I told them if the Rainbow got rid of the stain and smell, I would buy a vacuum. I thought the Kirby was going to be our last vacuum. Turns out, it will be a Rainbow.
NO! NOT DOWN YOUR SINK! Toilet! Outside or through a strainer preferably!!! Anyhow, I wonder what would happen if you vacuum with the rainbow A SECOND TIME!
This is fine and it doesn't need music! Most people who create UA-cam videos have inappropriate music that's too loud and mixed badly. This ends up taking away from the message of the video. Thanks for the video!
Great vid next time clean up spills first. You should never vacuum up wet carpets with the electric hose and power head. Use the other non electric hose that came with it and the upholstery tool with the bristles removed to suck up liquids. Don't want to ruin a very expensive power head because it got wet. Lol
Wow! Honestly, this probably convinced me more than anything else. We have a dog and the house has been reeking lately and when you can smell your own house, you know it smells! Maybe if you used one of the other attachments they might get the stains? Thank you for this, everything else I found was from Rainbow itself or with mattresses!
Thank you for your reply. I am glad this video helped. I had that same problem I run to youtube for product reviews about almost everything I buy. I find it hard to believe the product works when the only people who are talking about it are also trying to sell them. I ended up referring enough people to get the shampooer attachment but I had already gotten up that particular stain.....I would give the shampooer a 3 out of 5 stars....maybe. just fyi
Go into youtube editor and you can add free music there, they have videos there on how, old video have been with rainbow vacs for 8-9yrs can't ever go back. nice video thanks for taking the time to do it.
hello I found this exact same rainbow vacuum at good will for $50 it come with like a little mini power head and a thing that's called a rainjet? did yours come with that and what's it for? also can you do a demo of the shampooing attachment I have no clue how to work it thanks
this is exactly what i was looking for. I have a roomba now and was thinking of going with the dyson or a rainbow. a family member is selling me a used rainbow for $300
+robpesantes : I would jump on $300.00. I jumped on it at the price that I payed and I am glad I did (But I wish i could have gotten one for that price). I am glad the video showed you what you needed. Thank you for taking the time to comment.
I miss our old Rainbow d2 or SE so much. I think it was the SE because it had a sleek looking carpet shampooer, too. I miss it so much I just bought a Sirena! The New-new rainbow is not as good as yours. You probably got the last of the good Rainbow models IMHO. Maybe the next one will be better. Praying the Sirena will do me until the SRX is done & they do something smarter like your design. The “stuck on top/cannot remove from the wheels” is bad on the new rainbow.
Rainbow owner for 10 years, my Mom had one since I was less than a year old (roughly 31 years old) and you cannot compare regular vacuums to Rainbows. My Rainbows aren't anywhere as new as your purchase (20 plus years old and model D4, browny-gold colour) but are actually some of the best designed Rainbows behind your E2. They're a little noisier but most of that is the white noise of the water. I actually use my machine for both wet and dry cleaning of upholstry, carpet and solid floors. I live in a pretty dusty area and when the ploughs are out on the road during the winter (Ontario, Canada) we collect a lot of sand in our houses, and the Rainbow always has a concentration of sand clinging to the bottom of the basin whenever I use it.
WJCTechyman that is awesome. I plan to do a follow up video soon but I have folks messaging about the pros and cons of picking up water with the vaccum hose. I have been slightly afraid to try it.
So, did the Rainbow introduce any smells later on? Does it make your house more humid? Consumer's Reports says that the Rainbow's exhaust is dirty. What do you say?
That's a lie it has a filter in it but the demo had a white cloth on the intake/suction and white cloth on the exhaust and we left it on there for a while and it's still white no dust dander hair dust skin anything
I bought one last week and I like it so far. Try adding the essential oils to the water, they have their own brand, the lemon scent is my favorite but you can use other brands too. By adding the scent to the water, you smell the scent the whole time you are cleaning. Also good when you have it in purifying mode 👍 good vid!
I personally love Sharks. I've seen a video of a Rainbow vs. Shark and the Shark won by a mile. If you ever get your hands on a Shark Apex, I'd love to see the difference between that and a Rainbow.
I couldn’t even clean the brush roll or change the belt on my dad’s Shark. I did anyway, but when trying to put the thing back together, Shark let me know that it wasn’t meant to be taken apart. It’s meant to be a disposable vacuum if they don’t want you doing simple maintenance like that on it. Or maybe they want you sending it into a repair shop for things that most people can do on their own with most vacuums. Rainbows on the other hand will last decades instead of going into a landfill.
My biggest criticism of the rainbow is how much of a pain in the but it is to clean. It’s absolutely horrible. Also if it gets mouldy like mine did it never gets clean.
Hi! We just had a presentation yesterday and bought a Rainbow! But waking up thus morning my husband had a bad guy feeling, that it is just too expensive to buy. We are not sure if we should keep it or not.
I am not still not sorry I bought mine. The biggest negative is that I do not have a coat closet on the main floor and it just sits out. It takes up space and is a pain to get upstairs (they all are I guess). I use it regularly for purification of air. I have cleaned the carbon filter a couple of times so far for the doggie smell. But a good washing if the bin in hot water does wonders for that. The hose does not hold smells. I DID pull up the carpet anyway. That was due to the fact that the carpet was at least 9 years old and it was time. I did not go back to carpet. I use it less for cleaning the floor now and more for cleaning the air. I hope this helps.
We just bought one yesterday, and honestly I also feel a little sick about it lol. I keep trying to convince myself how good it is but dam, 3000$!!!!???? We have 2 more days to think about it, my wife really loves it and I do admit that the smell is wonderful. If we do keep it, I truly feel like this is the last vacuum we will ever buy.
I put my water in a strainer in the sink n than toss the remains in the garbage...never do I pick up water with my main foot cleaner..just the tool hose only..love my RAINBOW VAC..
Lol, that's not a real test, could you just do 3 other runs after the rainbow ? Sure the roomba will again pick up dirt, the dyson to, the rainbow again too, and again, you will never 100% clean a carpet with any vaacum, and so sad we can't smell if the dog odor is still here ......
Dude you can't even compare rainbow vacuums with other vacuums. Rainbow vacuums are on a whole higher level. I borrowed my brother in law's rainbow vac 2 years ago and still haven't returned it. He's rich he can go buy another one. The problem I have with Roomba's is the price tag. Something that expensive should not get it's ass kicked by shoe strings and socks constantly
You just contaminated your room with air dust by shaking it out like that not to discredit you but I would have done that outside or in the area that you're not like the laundry room
I do and honestly I never use it. I carry my rainbow from room to room and put it on low setting. It is in the bedroom in the evenings and the office when I work. my only issue is the light in the bedroom at night. I find it a challenge to cover the light so I can sleep while leaving the nozel port open for intake and out flow.
I've found the rainmate to be very useful in small rooms. For example; my son (1year old at the time) wouldn't sleep through the night. So I began putting the rainmate in his room a few hours before he goes to bed, and he started sleeping like a baby (pun intended). So it might not work in big rooms, but the rain mate is great in smaller ones

i just got mine this weekend and shocked by sticker price but happy all the functions

Hello. Is there any way that you could do a follow up video on the rainbow and possibly show the shampooer in use ?
Reece Mc nice video . Done a good job on that one . Do you still like your rainbow ? If yes what do you like best about it ?
You did a great job on this video!!!
Great vid next time clean up spills first. You should never vacuum up wet carpets with the electric hose and power head. Oh yeah and always dump water in the toilet and flush good.
And if there's lots of muck in the tank then maybe only flush half first then the second half lol
And always fill the water basin till the water level is just above the dome or hump in the middle.
Thank you, this was helpful

Excellent real world comparison.
you should try Roomba 980! and also after other vacuums
Great video miss.

Oh my, do not dump the water down a drain. You will clog up the pipes. At least put it down your toilet if you can not dump it outside somewhere.
Awesome videolololol you make me want to clean my house
Can you do an update video ? Please

hi reece, im planning to buy the rainbow system, they sold this system in indonesia. how do you thing about it?

Aye the kirby will pick up the bottle cap lol
Hows it working out for you a couplea years down the road?
The same way it's working in this video because it doesn't use bags do it doesn't lose its cleaning power
Oh my GOD
Lucky you did not plug up your drain.
Erica Rebecca oh my gosh
I would not recommend dumping that liquid down your sink.. lol.. just saying..
I recently bought a Sirena water-filtration system. Works exactly like the Rainbow. Same quality but at a fraction of a cost of a new Rainbow.
Vacuums are always better majestic queen filter is one of the best
It's not a good idea to pick up water with the power head it will kill your power head .
Noted. Thank you very much.
The Rainbow has always been the best! However, on this video, NEVER throw whatever is caught in the basin in any sink!!!
Thank you
I put my water in a strainer in the sink n than toss the remains in the garbage...never do I pick up water with my main foot cleaner..just the tool hose only..love my RAINBOW VAC..
I just got a Rainbow!
Jericho Hoo
Rainbow will pickup every thing else that the Roomba and the Dyson failed to pick up !!!
Clarice, you're a doll! Just keep on being you.
Thank you very much. You are too kind :)

Did it start to smell? Will the world ever know?! Stay tuned while I stalk this channel!
Dang! No update video!!
How much is the rainbow in US?
3,600

do you have a rainmate
I do and honestly I never use it. I carry my rainbow from room to room and put it on low setting. I love my rainmate, it's running beside me now.
people why are you still using dirty carpets instead of wooden flooring?
Rainbow has an attachment for wood flooring and tile as well.
It's a personal preference to have carpets! Just like your personal preference to grow a dirty beard.
you simply like to breed microbes, dirty bstrds
@@AxlAX they have an attachment for beards too,😁 okay maybe not, but that would be cool. Hey they made the flowbee, why not the beardbee? 😆
