I bought one 3 weeks ago. Everything he says is true. Put it in sport mode when you want more zip. Best rear leg room and note the rear seats recline quite a bit.
Best review of this vehicle I’ve seen so far! Thumbs up for reviewing a “Dawning Red” and NOT “Wolf Grey”, which I’m sick of seeing! Kia does have wireless CarPlay, they just choose to put it in the lower trims. I actually have the 2024 SX Prestige, FWD version, in this color and ordered a wireless CarPlay adapter from Amazon that works excellent! It’s interesting to know that my FWD comes standard with the auto powered rear view mirror and this AWD does not. Kia is kind of weird with their trim packages. Your review was better than I got from my sales person but, I already knew most things from other reviews before I went in. Excellent review!

You don’t swipe just touch, you can set it to default to one or the other, you can also change all your music and volumes from the steering wheel so I leave it to climate, that isn’t changed as often as what you’re listening too. In my humble opinion. I’m enjoying my 2023 X-Pro. Nice review too.

I do wish the 2.5L had the acceleration of the hybrid version, but Sport mode helps with that. I think the 2.5L engine is also more reliable. It’s the same in the Genesis GV70, minus the turbo making 300 HP.
I just bought this car.I love it.The only thing is I can't believe the mirrors on the outside Don't fold in. Oh and l don't like the volume and the climate being all together.
To switch from media to climate controls and vice versa, you don't have to swipe, you can just tap each icon. Great review none the less!
Great review Kenny. Personally I like the looks of the Sportage a lot. It reminds me of the Q5 in some ways. That engine though..a deal breaker. That is just too slow for me especially here in SoCal. Hope that you are doing great!
I have the same one but in wolf grey and the orange interior. I absolutely love it so far!

I still love made in Japan cars ,like Toyota ,Honda or Nissan and Subaru

18:00 I don't mind if it controlled nav and menu stuff but the volume and stereo should be a separate dedicated control, but it's NOT a deal breaker for me.
why does the engine rpm sound so loud when you accelerate on this kia? are all kia like this? it sounds horrible?

Dude: I got my wife a 2.5L Sportage (gas-powered engine), with the 8-shift tranny: We're getting 38-42 mpg, highway, and 28-30 mpg, city!!!
No flies on ur review! Your reviews are always on parr! But being the owner of the sister vehicle a Hyundai Santa Fe sport let me tell you I have a 20 min commute on the Hwy to my first job! You want an engine with some passing power especially when you running late! That’s a garbage motor with garbage acceleration! Try the new Nissan rouge with its new turbo much better results!

kia and hyundia looks wose are nice, based on experience and others their engines a d transmissions don't last. be aware before you buy
Climate controls should all be buttons and knobs. And stupid that it is also part of the audio system.
Wired? My 2016 prius wirelessly connects to my phone. What a shame... 🤣

It means it can be rough/tricky to use. I test-drove one last week, and it's just a button you must get accustomed to. :)

Great review. I was in the market for a small SUV and after all the options from Mazda, Toyota, Honda, Subaru, VW...I narrowed it down to the Sportage and the Tucson. There were some things I liked about both the Sportage and Tucson but in the end I ended up going with the Tucson Limited over the Sportage SX Prestige. Can't go wrong with either option though,
I am stuck with the same two options. Why did you choose the Tucson over the Sportage?
@@hschub469it came down to the exterior looks for me. The Tucson just looked better to me. But you know they refreshed the exterior a little on 2025 Tucson and also changed the interior dash. Looks totally different from the 22-24 model on the dash.
Those kind of vehicles should has AWD as standard. Pretty good SUV as a daily with N/A engine. Great review as always. Greetings
