At 08:50 it was so bad. Twice in a row he started casting a super obvious out-of-range frostbolt. You'd think he would learn from the first one but he did it again after. Other than that it was good

I died on my level 49 priest AFK while watching this live. It was so intense on my 2nd monitor I didn't even realize I had respawns and I was getting slapped by a Yeti. INSANE DUEL! Back to Brill

This duel was insane, if Ziqo didn't land like 3 of those Arcane explosions, I think Savix might've won. Such is classic, a lot of heartbeats on both sides too, Two gigachads
Also I think he tried to dark rune the sheeps but it either didn't go off or his shadow resist pot worked against it.
Yeah Savix definitely tried the dark rune on both. Not sure why it didn't work. I hope either Savix or Ziqo wins, my 2 favorites :D

It was awesome to watch this live, watching everyone who was casting start jumping up and down with excitement over this match. Such a long, well played battle from both of you! Anyone who might've missed the event (or the scoring) Ziqo finished a beautiful 5/0 sweep, while Savix finished a 4/1 sweep of his own. Both made it past qualifiers! Amazing job from both of you.

I love how high level 1v1 with a mage is just both classes fishing for their opponent to make a mistake and give an opening to capitalize on. It's high octane and when you lose you know exactly where you went wrong.
This is why Classic is so amazing. So many knowledge and skill checks while also being easy for the regular person to follow. Not to shit on retail but the gameplay here is so clean it easily makes for a better spectator sport. Great duel and duels Ziqo. Goodluck on winning it all.
Imo retail pvp is far better. This duel looked boring asf to me. Its just a mage kiting a rogue, and wasting the rogues cds away. Retail duels are far more exciting and fast paced.

You can tell the good players who are very practised dont just burn cooldowns because they feel vulnerable, they know the capabilities of the enemy and play accordingly. Its like Savix or Payo vs. Pshero, hes just another level.

i fully agree, at 5 -6 minute mark savix has him dead to rights 50% almost no mana and chooses not to arcane bomb him which would have ended it right there

@@Itsfine-pw7ff there is no heat of the moment mate, you play for that opening to be able to AB , he didnt do it because he wasn't thinking clearly and his strat was not clear to him he probably panic a lot too.

You can see the "Ref" 1/2 way between them most the time. Lets Ziqo know when Savix is close so he can AoE him out of stealth. You can see this in other duels as well. 7:36 is a good example if you're wondering what I'm talking about.
