Compliments for the nice ideas! Usually I watch these hack videos only to laugh or to be astonished by their lack of safety, but this is truly worthy! Loved the round “washer” chuck jaw spacers, will build it for me!
I've used rings for setting a part outwards in the 4 jaw so that I could indicate it on it's sides. I wish I could chuck stuff into a 3 jaw rather than a 4 jaw, but that's what I have to do
Ahora mismo voy por un torno para aplicar estos trucos de vid utiles. No se como no se me ocurrieron antes. Debe haber sido porque no tengo el torno. Que bestia!!!😂😂😂😅😅😅
its to space the workpiece off the face of the lathe but keep it parallel, so that face can be machined. If the part is smaller than the depth of the jaw it can't be machined without hitting the jaws
I might always and make a comment. On your interested projects. I like both. 1/ Your videos are good. 2/ I have also, the projects are pretty interesting.
Am I the only one that noticed that on hack # 3 when he is cutting off the rings on the lathe, he didn't even use his own " welding rod in a chuck in the tailstock stop method" he showed us in hack # 1 and mind you "hack" being a key word here...🙃
Wenn man den Unterschied zwischen einer Drehbank (Metall...) und einer Drechselbank (Holz...) nicht kennt, sollte man auch keine ach so tollen Tipps geben. Aber Hauptsache was gepostet !!! Resultat: Banned

@@EdsonCleto-y6q Thank you so much and welcome!
Good idea. I've used shims in the past for machining offsets on an existing diameter pilot hole.
Thank you and welcome👍
The rings as spacers is a good idea, the other stuff is pretty much old hat. 👍👍👍
Thank you so much and welcome!
Muito obrigado !
Welcome my friend!

Nice, very useful hacks ! Thx bro 😊
Thank you, bro!
Nice video for a home machinist. People that machine for a living will know this stuff.

Welcome🙂
how do you keep your lathe so damn clean????
I wipe down and clean up debris immediately after every job and in the process! Welcome!
Good tools❤
Thank you very much for watching and welcome my friend!
Very nice ideas sir. Great work. It looks great.
Muito bom! E sem um piu 😂
Thank you very much🙂
Good!!!
Thank you so much and welcome!
1. It's a shame about the electrode, a piece of stronger wire will do the job. Otherwise everything is great.
Welcome!

Is #3 just to protect the workpiece? If not, we hat is it for?
its to space the workpiece off the face of the lathe but keep it parallel, so that face can be machined. If the part is smaller than the depth of the jaw it can't be machined without hitting the jaws

Thank you very much for watching and welcome my friend!
You could buy soft jaws 😀⚙️🤙
Thank you, bro!
2 good ideas nothing happened in number 2 .. why did you knock the flux off the welding rod ?
If the flux crumbles on the machine bed, it is undesirable for the lathe! Welcome😉
I wouldn't quit my day job if I were you.
Thank you🙂
Instead of rechucking after every part-off, part-off 3 or 4 or 5 in a row, then rechuck. Time is money.
Time Is life...

il trucco degli anelli sulle griffe non ne ho capito l'utilità
These rings serve as a stop for a specific workpiece size and replace the notch in the reverse cams of the lathe chuck! Welcome my friend😉
Am I the only one that noticed that on hack # 3 when he is cutting off the rings on the lathe, he didn't even use his own " welding rod in a chuck in the tailstock stop method" he showed us in hack # 1 and mind you "hack" being a key word here...🙃
Anda mengerjakannya dengan baik❤
Thank you😉
#1 Now remind me why you wasted a good welding electrode..?
supper
Thank you🙂
E io sono stato a guardare queste cose, tempo perso anzi buttato !
These are ok I guess, but I’m sure someone out there didn’t know some of these and learned something new and that makes it all worth it…
This machine how much

number 2 is very very dangerous!
