I don't know every Honda model, but this is pretty much the clutch adjustment for the Honda automatic clutch. I'd try adjusting the clutch, but I don't think it's going to fix your problem. You may have a bent shift fork or something.
There will be no resistance while you begin turning the screw, then after a few turns, it will become slightly harder to turn the screw. That is the resistance.
@@trevorglenny2227 There's other reasons it could be slipping, but if you've never adjusted your clutch, you should start there. What kind of engine oil are you using?
Great video !!! Straight to the point!!!
Thank you for the comment and watching!
Any idea what would cause a p500 to not shift out of reverse? I can hear the motor trying to shift just doesn’t.
I don't... sorry.
Would this be the case for my 2020 Honda 520. I will grind a gear every once in a while when I shift.
It's easy enough to do to give it a shot. Good luck and thanks for watching!
The same would apply for Honda rancher 420cc manual shift?
Yes, sir. Thanks for watching!
Will this adjustment work for a 06 foreman es.
My foreman will downshift from 4 to 3rd when I hit the throttle going over 25mph.

Thanks for replying. I did some adjustment and it worked out well. Great video. Saved me time and money. Thanks.
@@Countrylife281 Great! Glad to hear it worked.
Ok so what happens what I’m in gear and hear it shift but I hit the gas and just revs up and barely moves? Need a clutch replacement?
That's not easy to diagnose over the internet. Did you adjust the clutch?
What kind of engine oil are you using?
Hey I’m loosening the nut but it’s not getting loose and is turning the damn screw with it pls help
What do u mean by until u feel resistance

But att the harder point of resistance or softer
Is this the same as idle adjustment?
Would this be same for an 09 500
It's pretty much the same for all of the Honda automatic clutches.
@@westhigginsorv would this stop her form slipping
