For more than 20 years, she has been suffering from hearing loss and wearing hearing aids since her early 20s. How long does it take time for improve hearing as a normal person after this surgery
I could hear when I left the surgery center but felt a gush of blood after I got home and now I can't hear at all out of that ear.
I'm able to hear with the packing im ... but I hope it's louder when I get the packing out... I can't wait!!!!!
How it is now?
I had surgery almost 3 and half month ago,
Right after surgery, when packing removed, i have much improved hearing,
But right now i have again feeling gradual hearing loss, reason?
Wow, I wish I had the same outcome with my surgery (I did not go to Dr.Sperling, unfortunately).
I lost 90% of my hearing due to the surgery. I had such bad vertigo post operatively
that I had to be hospitalized. I have ringing, tinnitus, vertigo and stabbing pains in my ear. I'm just devastated by my outcome.
I'm so sorry with your outcome I had surgery done on right ear now soon ready to do left ear I'm so sorry God bless you please give me a update please
I have otosclerosis, worrying to go for surgery
@@MarathiNationOne I hope you have a good outcome. Please research your doctor. It’s so important to find someone who is an expert in this surgery.
Wow! I could have written this. Same exact story. Wishing I never had the surgery all those years ago.
same here
one month since surgery but vertigo, headaches, earache and hearing completely gone
Is there anyone (anywhere in the world) working on alternatives to surgery? I have otosclerosis in my right ear and I want to join the military. The surgery is not a viable option for me.
Surgeon did not seem to concerned and said he will see me at my post op. I could hear for a couple hours but now nothing at all. Completely deaf in that ear except for my tinnitus is still there. Awful!
