I found Denise’s class in Dec 22 and I thank God million of times for that. She is wonderful, so professional and the best knitting teacher. 💐😊🤲
I just found Denise’s channel a couple months ago when looking for different heel techniques and I absolutely loved her teaching. I learned a lot so when binge watching, I came across this one and I couldn’t believe how mean and selfish some people are. Hope they moved on.
I appreciate everything that you do for FREE! I learned how to knit socks from your No Fear sock knitting course. Others charge for their time and you provided your knowledge for free. You exude joy for craft and it's so inspiring to me. Sending much love and hugs to you!
I don't get these people. If they don't like what you offer, why do they follow you? I just love your style. It's like sitting down with a friend. The only friend who understands my sock obsession. ❤

Oh my goodness! Thankfully there are many knitting and fiber related channels on UA-cam to choose from. People need to move on if they aren’t happy here. I find you warm, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and really lovely. Thank you for you, Denise. The power of the pen or keyboard can tear someone down or lift them up. May you be lifted up with all the love coming your way.
Denise, I would be discouraged too! I don’t understand people that want to be so critical. You spend so much time and love to produce your podcast. You have given so much to the community and you do it for free! My Mother always taught me not to say anything if I could not say anything nice! Wise words. Please don’t let the critical people stop you, just be yourself--that is what makes this a great podcast.
Denise, I for one am absolutely thrilled to see you back. The thing so many of the keyboard cowards can't seem to remember is if they don't like or agree with what they see on a channel, they have the power to click away. People need to tend to their own business and run their own lives. Only when theirs is perfect are they in a position to try to "fix" someone else's life. Carry on dear lady, I think you ROCK!!

Anyone complaining about the chatting and sharing can go away. Every time you share your projects and finding your share your laughter and joy. It beams through your videos.
Please don’t let the negativity ruin this space, keeps sharing, keep building, and teaching. Can’t wait to see a future of a selection of EarthtonesGirl yarns, lovely designs, amazing tutorials.
Denise, I’m sorry for those negative persons, who forget you are truly sharing yourself, and decide they need to change you. I have always enjoyed everything you do. You may talk as long as you like, your voice is pleasant and soothing, your laugh genuine, and your open honesty a beacon of joy and light in this rather difficult world. Those negative voices can go to other platforms where I’m sure they will be welcomed. This is about knitting! A relaxing, productive, hobby where most people just want to learn more, see more, and find kindred souls. 52:55

People would never do this face to face and if they do, they need to remember they voluntarily sought out your content. To your point , they can go elsewhere. I don’t know you personally but you seem respectful, joyful and caring as well as kind. Others who are not kind could learn from your example. Thanks for sharing.

As I was watching your latest video I was scared you were going to announce that you were stopping! You give so much of yourself and your love for this community is obvious! It's so "easy" to say "be yourself" and "you do you" and "don't let the negativity of others let you down" but to actually do it is another thing. Why can't those spewing the negativity and the unsolicited criticism keep that to themselves? Then we can go on being ourselves, doing our thing, and not have to fight back to exist in our space, our own space. I was nodding and shaking my head to EVERYTHING. All of it Denise. All of it. I love to knit…I’m a self taught knitter. I read the book Knitting Rules by Stephanie Pearl Mcphee, loved it and wanted to learn how to knit. Socks and everything else. I started with UA-cam. I learned to knit and I’m the only one in my family that knows how. It’s like my super power! There are many good knitters out there, but not all of them are good teachers of knitting. You are a great teacher, patient and kind and I have learned a lot about sock knitting! Thank you so much!

After watching so many sock knitting videos and landing on your complete course(!) I can’t tell you how many times I’ve reflected on how fortunate I am to be a new knitter with a FREE resource like yours! Years ago I had to teach myself to crochet from books, and while I got there eventually, I knew I could never do the same with knitting. Your infectious joy and love of your craft makes me feel like I’m knitting along with a friend…keep doing your thing just the way you want and know that you have a solid cheering section out here who are delighted with every notification that you’ve posted new content. Far easier to say than do, but I hope you are able to heal from this and find the joy again soon. You seem like such a lovely person, and people forget that even if they aren’t face to face, they’re still speaking to a human being. From one human being to another, I love your content, and you are THE reason I got the nerve to start my first pair of socks a couple years back. Your voice is calming and your smile is infectious and it is always a joy to watch your videos! Virtual hugs and all the sock knitting vibes sent your way ❤
New sub and THANK YOU for the first 10 minutes. I was a seller for over a decade, some crochet and sewing but primarily the glass beads I created because, like you, I love making. I'm retired now and it's blissful because while in theory I loved selling my art and talking to others about art the few (always a few) that treated me the way you've been recently treated really hurt me and that pain began to color what I created in a negative way. When I turned 60 I was just done and tbh for the first year after I retired I barely created anything. I had to take the time to take care of myself mentally and emotionally and understand what I wanted and needed was the most important. Somewhere along the line while creating and working to earn a living I got that twisted and having been a nurse prior to creating for a living I had always put others first, put my patient's needs first, and that transferred to putting my customer's needs first and in the process I almost lost myself entirely. I see that in hindsight now but when I was in it I was just getting more and more depressed and didn't understand why. So all of that to say always put your needs at the front because if you can't take care of yourself mentally and emotionally eventually it impacts your creativity in a negative way. I found you because while I crochet I really want to learn to knit and I think I've now found the place to do that. Love and light and I hope that you see a decrease in all the negativity.
Don't stress it's your channel. you decide on how to present it. if people don't like it they can watch something else. THANKS FOR TEACHING US WHO TRULY WANT TO LEARN.

Some women have anger on life issues and need to sort their anger out first before commenting on any post !! You really don’t have to put up with all these moods !!
