Do you need to input the seedphrase in its order, or the words can be typed randomly?
I wrote down the 24 words in random different pages of a notebook, but the problem is I already forgot their proper order.
Thank you for the video. Quick question on the transfer fees being paid. I get that the transfer itself isn't a taxable event. But aren't you paying that transfer fee with your crypto? Isn't paying for something with crypto a taxable event whether it's a transaction fee, an apple, a car etc, your payment is coming from your crypto, no?

Hi Crypto Dad and thks for your efforts to share knowledge:-) A question in rgds to BTC adresses. Do you know why there is a new BTC adress generated through Trezor each time you want to send some BTC to your Trezor? I had the impression that your private BTC's was being accumulated onto the same BTC over time, which only I had access to, but apparently I was wrong or?
questions: do you have to have google or any authenticator to follow the directions you give here? Also, after you have Trezor set up, can you cancel in the middle of doing any of your directions if you change your mind about something? And last, once you have your BTC in Trezor, can you transfer it back to Coinbase and move your BTC worth back to your bank for the cash? Thanks!

If someone had managed to secretly unbox your Trezor & plug it into their own computer writing down the 24 word Phrase without clicking confirm & then re-package it to you - would the 24 word Seed Phase they would have written down be the same 24 words you would get when you install it? Does doing the firmwear update before getting the 24 words prevent this?

Should you have a different Trezor wallet for different coins, like one for ETH and one for BTC? Or can the one securely store both, or is it better to have things spread around a bit?

I am trying to use my Trezor that I got many years ago (I took most things off of it and put onto a Ledger Nano) but I wanted to get some Theta and I don't think you can store that on a Ledger, so I wanted to put some onto my old Trezor but I don't think I ever used the Trezor suite, is that a new thing, and do I have to get that now to be able to use my Trezor. Can you for example stake your coins even if you have your coins in the trezor wallet or is that a bonus you have to sacrifice for the added security of using a hardware wallet?
I still stake my Cardano even though it’s stored in my Trezor model T wallet. Not sure if you can do that with other cryptos but with Cardano the crypto never leaves your wallet, meaning there is no risk to staking because no one else has access besides you.

Thank you for your video. Please answer me a short question. Through the link in my Trezor wallet, I had started a bitcoin order, but my bank did not allow the transaction, however, a bitcoinchan address was created and it is in the bitcoinchan, but it amounts to zero dollars. However, in my Trezor valet, it still says that it is pending, but it is not possible to close that transaction because I cannot buy it. Given that the bitcoin course has changed since then, it is no longer favorable for me to buy, am I obliged to complete the transaction even though I am not able to? What will happen with that transaction? Thanks in advance
Sorry to hear that your transaction did not go through. But it really won't affect the wallet if you have a pending Bitcoin request. You can continue to use the wallet. To make additional transfers simply go into the Bitcoin account and choose receive. And you can generate an address. It might end up being the same address that is waiting for that transfer. but you can safely use the address again. After that, you should generate new addresses. It might make sense to open up an account for a cryptocurrency exchange like Binance or Coinbase, and make your purchases there. That way you can make sure that your transactions go through.

What is strange to me is that there is that address in bitcoinchain, but the transaction has zero bitcoins, and I can still see on my hardware that it says pending transaction, but with the message that my bank does not support this cryptocurrency exchange, it is not possible to close it. Hey CD,i noticed you didnt get hit with bugger all mining tax when you bought BTC.The exchange i use you get hit with about $12 for mining tax when buying BTC,on top of a mucher smaller buy fee and a small fee to deposit money onto the exchange.You buy $50 worth and you will end up with about $35 by the time it hits your wallet.You want to buy at least $100 at a time.Im talking AUD $$.

I have put my Recovery Seed in a safe place. A very safe place. Too safe!!! It will probably show up some day but I don't want to wait. I can access my account and it does show my existing holdings. Can I create a new Recovery Seed? Or should I send the coins to Coinbase temporarily, buy a new Trezor, and start over. I would really appreciate your help.

Well done! Question: When I store BTC on the Trezor wallet, will the value of it be stable? (say if it were $50 US dollar, in my Trezor wallet, it remains $50 worth of BTC, until I move it to coinbase, then the value of it is whatever Coinbase is currently trading BTC at? My amount won't fluctuate as it does in coinbase? The value will only change once I send it back to coinbase? I hope I am making sense.

I think it would just be the amount of BTC you have. Like if you have 0.024 Bitcoin, that's what it will show. The dollar value isn't relevant. Does that make sense? Blind leading the blind here...

Yes it does. There are lots of stable coins on the Ethereum network (Tether USDT and US Dollar Coin USDC) and Trezor supports ERC 20 tokens. You would access them from the Ethereum wallet in the tokens tab. You can also use your Trezor device with Metamask to access some of the other EVM networks like Polygon and Binance Smart chain. There are stable coins on those chains too.

Can you attach a passphrase with the same seedphrase? If yes how? Let's say from the ledger??
When you launch Trezor Suite, it will ask you if you want a Standard Wallet or a Secret wallet. The password you choose for the secret wallet becomes your passphrase. The first time you use it it will be an empty wallet. If you store assets in the secret wallet, you can re-access them by choosing secret wallet again the next time you launch Trezor Suite. Just enter the SAME passphrase again. You can have multiple secret wallets by using different secret passphrases.

Thanks a ton for the guide.Won’t you agree ? typing passphrase on model one via computer is a risky and security breach possibility. One T model is overpriced compared to Nano S plus.

I put some crypto in my safe and secure Trezor I went back to open it over a year later and my 30,000 polymath we’re gone. It said I have zero. My friend said I need to get in there every week to make it work properly or update things occasionally and I don’t know what he’s talking about or why it wouldn’t work. I know when you create a Thera wallet you ha e a password and the. Mnemonic phrase but should you do these 2 things, then click hardware to connect your hardware device?
I ask because I was told creating a wallet with the password & mnemonic are for online wallet and different from the hardware wallet so you don’t get a chance to recover if you pick hardware wallet.

Hi, can someone hack into your Trezor suite?
Cant you just "get into" random wallets by generating a series of backup phrases? Take the same dictionary, pull out randomly 21 words, generate a private key from it... and surely youre bound to land on a real wallet... probably sooner than you would by trying to generate the actual private key directly.
