It's becoming increasingly more common for people to judge other peoples lifestyles. I think this comes from a good place at times, but due to the accusatory nature of it, people often feel the need to defend the way they live in a combative way, so it's hard to sympathize with. Like OF dating, mental health treatment, weed share this commonality. I think some evidence to this being true is the hyper focus on the ideal lifestyle, hustle culture, flexing wealth, social perfectionism, looksmaxxing and overcompensating masculinity are a direct result of this. There is no right way to live, but we find shit to tell ourselves there is. Just do you man, I think it's perfectly fine to be against this, but please stop questioning my competence as a man and the morality of my character for an indifference.

Defense contracting is better because it can have the positive effect of keeping our military more powerful than others. As shitty as that is. Thats not saying its much better, but it is the effect.
