Also, I recently started WoW back up again after a few years off, so if there's any inaccurate information in the video, feel free to correct me! I'm a little rusty still. 🤭

The game is what you make it. Not what some UA-camrs or streamers say. I see people post there is no exploring in the game. That is on you, not the game. Tonight I had a blast running around collecting more pets for my Hunter and collecting flight paths in zones I had never been to. I didn't do one quest tonight.
totally! I feel like alot of the content around WoW online is about the grinding which is totally legit, but I thought why not share some ideas and start a conversation with those who enjoy the other aspects of the game too 😍 Also, collecting hunter pets is so much fun too, should totally have put that in the video!
WoW *" CAN "* be cozy, if People know how. But many People - probably most - spend their Time in WoW doing one Grind after the other. And it's never over.
"Level 7 for months and months" really caught me its really cool knowing people understands the game in a different way.

I've been playing WoW for almost 20 years now, and did the raid guild harcore thing until I realized I had more fun exploring, collecting and especially in this last expansion, racing dragons. No guild, no peer pressure, I just play as I want. Great video!
Amazing paying for MMO monthly fee to play it solo like this... Not like we have 4217445245242 other games nowdays that you can play and only pay for them once
Glad to see I am not the only one. I didn't do much multiplayer stuff, I mostly played solo and just liked going around doing quests and exploring various zones. I often started from scratch with other races and classes to just explore other zones and content.
Same! Character creation is a fun process in itself imo, and trying all the starting zones and exploring the different areas is so nice 😍
Wow is such a cozy game for real!
it is! there are so many beautiful zones, love it! ♥
I'm so happy to see more and more people talking about playing WOW in a Cozy Game Style. I always assumed that I was the odd one and called myself a CareBear in WOW, but I've recently found out there are quite a few players that play the way I do. One of the things I have always done (since Transmog became a thing) is to have a Transmog for each zone and sometimes for specific quests and as a Hunter tame a pet from the zone and try to have a matching battle pet companion.
oh I love the zone matching!! Such a good idea 😍
If you can match your hunter pet, little companion, AND your mount, all the better! Do it with bees! 😃🐝🐝🐝
@@danielkover7157 My Main Hunter (yes I have more than one Hunter) her pets are both Bees from BfA and my minipet is the Honey Bee and I'm working on getting the Bee Mount.
loved that 🥰 that's exactly how I play too. Listening to music and just feeling safe and cozy in my body. It's like a fun meditation 💫
You give the perfect examples to relax in the game, I myself love collecting mounts/transmogs and gathering up for my professions when I want to relax
so glad you liked it! are you trying to get anything specific right now? 😍
Me too, I'm still playing this game 20 years later. I'm done being a hardcore raider and I've never been much of a key pusher, but I do like logging in, questing, collecting stuff, exploring.
I love the atmosphere of old Duskwood and Hillsbrad Foothills, if I could live there I would. Like the ongoing conflict along with the calm nature of the zones checks all of my boxes.
Love this!! I too feel like the first impression people have of WoW is heavy grinding, mythic+, raiding with the guild, but I've alwaysss enjoyed playing solo just exploring the world, doing quests and enjoying the lore, and it's great to see other players here who are the same. Thanks for the tips! Love the video.
so glad you enjoyed it, always so fun finding other cozy wow gamers 😍
Battle Pets are definitly a cozy collector game.
Loved this video!
I love flying around and seeing the niche areas that people don’t go to or talk about or hell even have quests for. Just cool places the devs put in solely for the exploration value. ❤
Cozy gaming! I play Cataclysm classic and it’s still relaxing to me when I’m just leveling
oh, love that! chill leveling is such a good time, what class are you focusing on atm? 🙌
As a sweaty grinder, I'm really glad players like you exist.
What I love about Warcraft is that it can be played both casually and hardcore. I just started playing again since Legion and I’m a little overwhelmed with how much has been added, but having so much fun at the same time!
absolutely, you can always adapt to that you're able to put in timewise. Hardcore raider with a dedicated schedule or a mogfarmer and chill quester - up to you! love that!
So many interesting ways to play! My main toon is a vulpera mage tailor/engineer with a penchant for fishing/archeology who loves cooking! With portals/wormholes he can go anywhere an do anything and believe me he does! I have abuncha toons to explore the different aspects of gameplay and styles. I do the dungeons/raids/quests to gear up an make my random excursions easier and more fun tho but def not only thing I do. Honestly my favorite part of game is the players who also inhabit the world, watching an interacting with them, using toys and mounts.
I have a nice camping setup with tents, cookpots, portable hypercompressed ocean, blingtron, and other toys to spice it up, its fun to go to a scenic spot setup camp and just fish. Sometimes you meet the most interesting an fun ppl while doing it to!
I've been playing WoW for over 18 years. I have always been a casual player who rarely does dungeons and almost never does raids or PvP. I prefer questing and leveling alts. I also like collecting, exploring, and achievements, but only if they aren't too hard to acquire. I don't care too much about professions, though. There is so much to see and do in WoW that it's overwhelming!
I got into WoW because of Warfraft3 and I remember playing in Azuremyst Isle and being so chill and peaceful, most zones have amazing OST. I no longer play WoW but I try to keep on track with the lore, really looking forward to the Worldsoul saga.
I'm very on and off with wow so I totally get you, and the lore and stuff is def something that keeps getting me dragged back in. And the trade post tbh, that things has its claws in me haha 😅
You shouldnt.its gonna suck and the lore isnt worth following. Wow lore died with worlk and never managed to establish a new plot.
Wow is pretty cozy. I stopped playing about half way in cata back in the day but came back for classic vanilla and tbc. I’m now back for sod, which I came back late for but I’m loving it so far. The world is as cozy today as it was back when it first came out. Just the other day I found an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere and sat next to the fire listening to the crackle of the flames and watching the rain outside the open door. Very cozy indeed.
A while ago, I tried “free trial WoW” just to be able to play WoW again without dropping money on it since I figured I’d only play it for like a week then quit again. I actually had more fun just running through story quests for Vanilla areas at level 20 than playing DF’s end game. I told my brother in law about it and he eventually tried it himself and has been having fun with it too. I ended up re-subbing to the game and made a new character which hit 70, but low and behold I got so bored so quickly I almost quit again…
Nowadays I play on the Classic servers and have been having fun again since they focus more on slower exploration than rushing you to end game. But give Free Trial WoW a shot, it’s actually pretty cool!
I love going from the high intensity dungeons and raids to leveling a lower level character. WoW really is just incredible at giving you a beautiful place to enjoy and crazy shit to do it’s just a great combo.
I’ll also never get bored of making new transmogs for my characters, it’s like playing dark souls there’s so many cool outfits that I’ve gotta kill stuff for🙂↕️
Yes this! I have done Mythic raids, Challenge modes, Mythic + and all the Hardcore stuff in the past and as I got older and started having less and less time, I much more just enjoy collecting achievements, mounts, transmog and do world Quest. The only thing I always run seasonally are M+ and Raids Curve, but once I am done, I never do them again till next season. I honestly wish WoW just came up with housing system like FFXIV and I would be a happy solo player! Happy for the Delves at least.
Ahh love your channel so much already
thank you so much! ❤ Means the world!
This video is perfect. i playing WoW since 12ish years and sometimes i just hustling for months and take breaks and sometimes i play without any stress just do some side stuff for months and weeks and just enjoy the game. it is for me the perfect game you can pause and start after a few months and do some shit. There is just some magical touch that keeps me comming back everytime more then in other mmos
Your channel is a cozy place to chill, Leia. ☺
So glad you think so lovely, thank you for sticking around and supporting - means so much! ❤
Yeah some of my favourite times playing wow is doing old quests/exploring areas with google/yt open to read up on the lore.
I've been transmog farming like crazy and it's really addictive, but I'm starting to hit diminishing returns on that with my Warrior main and farming for non-mains just feels off, so I've been trying to reconnect with what I originally enjoyed about the game.
Exploring and doing old quests can feel lonely because no one else is doing that content, but there are several ways to manage that. Getting immersed in the lore is one. Connecting with other cozy wow players online is another. There are youtubers like Hazelnutty who are both git-gooders and cozy. If I'm getting big FOMO I can switch to current expansion. But I also like to mix up my wowing with outings and coffee trips. Some days can be just splendid ^_^
I'm the same. Just love exploring and taking in the scenes/music. Still do the same to this day. Loved the vid too. Looking forward to more of your opinions on WOW
Nice video! WoW is indeed such a cosy game. The nostalgia and new expansion hype always draw me back to the game. I'm playing very on and off now, taking breaks for a few months to a year. Used to be a hardcore raider but ever since WoD I lost that spark for WoW, but whenever I got extra time, I return for some chill gameplay like you mention in your video: questing, professions, fishing in nice places, transmog runs and the trade post. :)
I doubt the feelings and excitement I used to have playing WoW 15 years ago will ever return again :c but the classic tbc-wotlk servers were pretty nice for a little while :P
it really is! and I'm very on and off too, intense gameplay for a few months and then I take 6 months to a year off haha! What do you usually main? 😍
@@xravenite I main monk & hunter. :) in your video I saw your gnome char riding the bee mount, which is funny because I also play a gnome and always use the bee mount 🤣
Thank you for this, I'm really bored of the standard progression lately but this just might make it a little more fun ^^
Great video and a great take! Your channel's great!
It is really amazing the way you explain your line of thoughts and perspective. Really gives a new lens to WoW's "endgame" paradigm.
I didn't play WoW but I did play Runescape and thats a pretty cozy game imo
haven't played runescape since the ooold days of it haha, but it was always such fun! alot of cozy gameplay 🙌
I returned to WOW one week ago, I have not playWowwow for around 12 years, and I said to my friends: "I feel calm, won't rush" jajajaj I am enjoying it a lot again.
My first character was an undead warlock named Mary, since I didn’t talk english very well (I was 10yo), most of the time I was just hanging around cities and other places instead of questing so much. Besides everytime I met leveled up players they’d help me and gave me stuff and it was hella fun
as someone who played since vanilla, i also cozy game wow. i refuse to raid most of the time, just leveling and getting transmog and whatever.
I just like to take my time. I don't understand the people there need to min/max to get to max level or to obtain the best gear.
One of the best things I have done is to make an alt and quest with it at my own pace, I still feel that part is more fun to do than the end-game-grind
I've also been playing wow for years and years and years^^ I've always played it in a cozy way. My now husband has gamed in big teams (both PVP and PVE) but that's not my style. I like gathering, doing quest to get nice old skins, pets, mounts...etc. fishing and so on. sometimes farming while watching a documentary on a subject I enjoy, on my second screen and so on. I just love that =) I did a lot of levelling up, achievements, raids and so on with my husband and some friends over the years, but the style i enjoy is cozy, slow pace, exploring, gathering, farming stuff, fishing, listening to the musics. Every time i hear wow's music i just feel joy, excitement and wonder and i want to game ^^
Also, i'm older than you, so i used to play in the old times when we would all get together at a friend's house ("my parents are away on vacation for 2 weeks! bring your computers!" ^^) and at the time wow was so much slower paced. you actually had to gather people to go to donjons, then actually Go to the donjon's doors...etc. you HAD to explore and cross continent with slow mounts^^ so it was easier to play it in a cozy way :D
awh yes, done lan parties with wow but not in the classic-era, sounds so perfect! 😍
Great video, I've been a raider and it was very fun. But most of my enjoyment in retail is cozy stuff.
Girl I feel the same way! I love this ❤ stoked to start playing classic again ☺️ awesome video, so glad I found this.
so glad you enjoyed it! 😍
the background stormwind synth music is nice
Love this video! I have the same story as you, i've been playing wow since 6 years old because my dad played it and it looked fun. I remember when i used to try to talk to npc's 😂😂
totally agree this game is best enjoyed chill and casually :]
What a charming video! Very nice!
So glad you enjoyed it! ❤
I really like that aproach nowadays too.
I played wow since 2006 when i was in school.. sheesh.. i stopped before shadowlands doh.
But just recently i started playing again and had kinda the same way of thinking. I started cata(where i never saw the low lvl quests back in the days) and lvld a hunter which i always wanted and had so much enjoyment in just reading the quests and "feeling" the immersion, to be that cool troll hunter and doing the adventure the quests are offering me.
I personally feel nowadays this is the way "better" aproach, at least for me. Cause that high end raiding and BIS gearing feels kinda worthless for me since every few months there is new content which gives you better loot again and again and again.
The questing experience still is a thing that stays with you and you remember that really cool questline leading to a final quests with a cool boss or smthg.
Funny how thing change over the years and when you get older lol xD
Also i love the lore too. I read almost all the books, just missing the last two.
It complements the gameplay even more i think.
I mean i originally started WoW just because of the druid. I loved the shapeshifting and the theme of the druids and the lore.
And now i just bought Dragonflight cause there is the Emerald Dream and so much cool new Druid skins. So who cares about Raids when i can hunt some cool skins for my kitty haha xD
Amazing video i love wow and the lore of wow 😊
Thank you so much, so glad you enjoyed it! And it's so good isn't it, looove 😍
It seems as if there's mainly two kinds of players: the hard-core raider/PvPer/speedrunner who has their foot firmly planted on the accelerator, the people who are on a mission, and then there's us "filthy casuals," who take it a little slower and enjoy exploring, lore, collecting pets, and maybe a little of the RP in "MMORPG." There's a third type of player who's a hybrid of the two.
I'm quite firmly in the filthy casual group. From day one, when I came in right after BC's launch, I was an explorer, and I read all the quest text and books, etc. That's the appeal for me. Always has been and always will be.
When people complain about kung fu pandas and "this expansion is the worst ever" and how WoW is dying, I think those folks are mostly in the first crowd. Game mechanics matters a lot to them. Doesn't matter as much to me.
I'm still upset they moved the dinosaur mount to the Black Market AH. Now, not only is it expensive, but it's also more rare, more random, and potentially more expensive. Still mad. 😠 I want my dinosaur! 🦕
One of my favorite continents is Kung fu Pandaland. My favorite spot is on top of the highest hill in Halfhill, just soaking up the scenery and atmosphere of the Valley of the Four Winds. I wish I could retire there IRL, and just dig in the dirt, fish in the stream, and chow and chat at the market. Maybe I'd make a pilgrimage up to the Vale of Eternal Blossoms to pay my respects at one of the shrines, escorted by friendly grummles. Halfhill is so cozy! 😊❤
Edit: Halfhill is kind of like if you mixed Kung Fu Panda with the Shire in Lord of the Rings.
Also, I find dwarven architecture cozy!
I spent hours, probably too many hours, in BfA using the leap / jump / glide abilities of my Demon Hunter to climb the highest mountains in Kul Tiras, *before* flying was unlocked. FYI, Bliz put an 'easter egg' up there, apparently having to do with an unexpected interaction up there, between a Bliz employee and a player (Asmongold) on Beta.
Mountain climbing with either a DH or a Warlock can be quite entertaining. If using Warlock, be sure to set your telepad before using teleport rings to get higher up, in case what looked like a sufficiently level spot, wasn't.
Goblin Gliders (kit or tinker) also a must-have for this sort of diversion.
To me, WoW quests are "go here, kill this, collect this" so they are repetitive enough.
I really enjoy Professions in WoW.
I also do not do dungeons or raids. I would if I had friends to play with, but none of my friends play WoW. I'm not willing to play with random players, because everytime I have it was a negative experience.
I've had quite a few negative experiences myself so I totally get that, I do some dungeons here and there on lower levels but don't dare touch raiding haha.. 😅
Ouch 6years old or 7years old I feel really old now.
haha sorry 😅😂
OG EverQuest player I defected to WoW after playing the beta. That was like 5 years ago right? 😆
I've been a mythic raider ever since warlords of draenor and I can assure you that theres nothing I love the most than finish progress and just hunt mogs pets or just going back to grizzly hills and fish for hours thats my cozy place in wow
great content!
thank you, so glad you enjoyed it!! ♥
I’m confused by the new profession stuff.. how dragon isles is so different from previous collecting. And you can craft now. How far have you gotten in alchemy?
Basically nowhere honestly, I have barely explored dragon isles expansion stuff so far. Didn't even know it was a big diff, gonna be interesting to explore 😍
I hadn't played "retail" since Warlords of Draenor and every time I checked in on it it was just too overwhelming. ("OMG WHAT IS ALL THIS STUFF IN MY BAGS? IS IT SAFE TO VENDOR IT?") but I got curious again and realized it's just easier to start a new character. The Kul Tiras area is REALLY cool and I'm loving the Transmog/Trader's Post stuff - I gotta say the mobs die a little too quick (I'm around lvl 27 right now) but maybe it gets harder once I reach level 60 or something? Not gonna lie it's pretty fun to just mow through stuff, which makes it feel a bit more cozy/chill and not so try-hard.
You make me want to play again! I think mists of pandaria was my last expansion that I played religiously. Hardcore raiding and such. I miss the night elf starting area music and collecting herbs for potions. I quit because I got addicted and then stressed out, but I miss a lot of the slower parts of the game.
Where did you get the glasses for you gnome from?
there are vendors outside the barber shops in Storwind and Orgrimmar 😍 aren't they so good??
@@xravenite I love them ❤️
I'm also like that in any game/mmorpg I play. I don't care about dungeons and raids and at most only try running them a few times and if necessary.
Since it's not a thing that requires much discussion and guides you don't see much content or people talking about playing like that, but I do think that most or an expressive amount of players play like that!
I even made some annotation for every zone I completed, about the lore and places of note as I played. I made some sheets of every media and when it was released so I can try to make sense of everything.
(I do this for WoW and Guild Wars 2 tbh)
I also try joining guilds that are more RP inclined (even tho I don't RP myself) because they are also the ones that usually do events together, like doing Xmas Parties and contests, guild events and minigames for Halloween and things like that that are more about the community and I love.
I’ve been playing since I was 10, so about 17 years now 😁🙌🏻 did a lot of PVP when I was younger! I’m definitely more into Classic than Retail and have been looooving Classic Hardcore and SoD!
Goid vid. Keep at it!
thank you so much, really glad you liked it! 😍
a tip from a 17yr+ player is the 1st keybinds you should do. unbind your A and D keys, Map the default Q to A and E to D. You never need to keyboard turn and should never start. your A and D now strife and you have Q and E for potion/def CD whatever ya like. Even open world/casual dungeon players can use this tip.
I love WOW been playing since 2006. Great video! You are very beautiful!
It has cozy graphics and atmosphere so yeah it's cozy even if it's a fighting game the fighting isn't anything like brutal.
I want to be able to have the guts to make a raid of my own or start an m+ group and lead
I definitely had a very cozy time with WoW as a new player in 2022 but what drove me away was how toxic players were in dungeons especially the older ones. I didn't know how the dungeon mechanics worked and i was kicked multiple times and even denied a revive just cause i died plenty of times. Aside from that I will agree the game is very relaxing at times, maybe I should've joined a fun discord server who are also trying to enjoy WoW with the same pace as I was.
yeah, that's what makes me avoid dungeons and raids too - I hate that it's such a pushy "must know" culture, there's no room for being a beginner.. I think a discord and a beginner friendly guild is a great way to go!
Good job! Keep it up and don't feed the trolls, they are always hungry. Best of luck!
great video. subscribed ☺☺☺☺
I love World of Warcraft sinds day one
i basically do the same thing but in Final Fantasy 14
Love that! FF is so pretty too, I can imagine just wandering and exploring for ages 😍
no. this is the reason for the enshittification of wow
I like this video. :)
I'm glad you like it 😍
you are lovely
thank you! ❤
LOL 8:41 hahahah what was that?
😂😂
you miss World of Warcraft Legion
haha I know, it's noted in the video right before bfa ☺
The blurred background makes me to move on.
Last time wow was great was MOP for me, if I go back to wow every blue moon I'll play classic for maybe a month. MOP cannot be beaten, all classes and specs where fun, raiding and PVP was great and there was a lot to keep you engaged outside of that. And the music was amazing, good times. Sad it's all gone. And now there is Dragon Woke, which I wouldn't let my worst enemy play. I'm not surprised you're just "cosy" playing this dumpster fire, it's turned into animal crossing
du låter svensk
Get a job
Disgusting what wow has become.
I see you my brother... These people will never understand. They are a blight upon every hobby.
@@86Corvus blood and thunder!
it's a very different game from what it was from the start, so I can totally see your point. Are you playing classic instead? 🙌
Ofcourse you chose a gnome with pink hair.
ofc! 🙌
Avoid wow at all cost people.
Well if they have to play WOW, play classic. Retail is dumpster fire full of degenerates of the highest order
The perfect cozy day for me is throwing on Lord of the rings extended trilogy and leveling a new character to work on the lore master achievement 🤌
sounds absolutely perfect!! 😍😍
