All Throttle Bodies will eventually get carbon build up around the flap and the car idles poorly because of that you will need to clean it up . In this video you will see also a couple of tests you can do before deciding that you'll need a new throttle body .

Nice video! The silver screws at timestamp 0:58 had very coarse threads, like a wood screw. I wonder why? I guess because it screws into plastic instead of metal?
Because they go directly into plastic)

Thank you for your super helpful videos! I take care of my ecofuel cng up and my plan is to keep it as long as possible, do you think that installing an oil catch can (i know its an overkill but I would enjoy installing it) has some benefits? Could it mess with the ecu somehow? Thank you!
Hei ! sorry for late reply . Installing an oil catch can will not affect in any way the engine as long as there are no air leaks

... and thanks to your Video, I have diagnosed my VW Up issue (engine & EPC light on, Limp mode) - it was a broken throttle body spring (5yrs 45,000miles only!). Have replaced the unit (with a pre-owned one) as I cannot source a spring! If you know where we can buy the springs I would like to buy 2 spares!
Glad it helped ! It's a pitty that with such low millage already something broke .I guess you have to remove it together with the "return rotor" so the best chance is from scrap throttle bodies
Hi! I am having small problem with my Citigo 2016 ( the same motor :) ) It got difficult start in the morning. When I start a second later it starts at ley switch... looks like poor in fuel but:
I made fixes:
1. new battery
2. Throttle body cleaning and vcds adjustment
3. Spark plugs new
4. Fuel preasure tested at fuel pump seems pumping fine.( it has LPG ) bit I also closed bottle valve and tested without gas.
5. Air and fuel filter new
6. temperature sensors are both new ( liquid and outside )
7. Presure at cylinders fine
.......
Dont know where to search more? It always got problem when temp drops below 10* otherwise ot starts smoothly... Thinkimg of replacing ecu to check temp parameters :( please advise :) Maybe I am ommiting something in my diagnosis
