The day after finishing harvest was always a difficult time for me. You walk out the door of your home, you're greeted by a stifling 100 degree day, a clear blue sky and you look across the yard and see the combine...and it's not cutting wheat. That always bothered the hell out of me to no end. It's almost as if I craved the stress-hell that is associated with harvest. Go figure. On a side note: I love the content of your videos. Keep 'em coming Chet and thanks for sharing your agricultural world with all of us...take care and be safe.

That was very smart not to try to save the funnel because it could have damaged your fingers. you could tell you were thinking about it but you never follow through which was smart . Thanks again for all your video clips. I enjoy them. I was not that fortunate to be able to be on a farm. I'm more in the city

Chet, very, very good video. 44,143/61,800 views to subs ( nearly 75% ) within less than 24 hours of posting is an unheard-of ratio and shows tremendous loyalty from subs. You do good work. You should start to get serious offers from sponsors.

Your'e right about the adrenaline Chet. I drove a truck for 30 years. And in the younger years I would on occasion push the log book beyond the limits, leading to a very long nap. The good old days.

Had the same problem on our 765c with the hood cylinders. Put new ones on - still does it. Now we just use a piece of pipe propped up against the rock box, which works pretty well.

Hey Chet. I always watch your videos. I used to work on a farm that used NH skid steers that had the same problem. We started using grade 8 bolts and we drilled for a couple more grease fittings. It was a different machine but same problem as yours. Those modifications fixed the problem. I always give a thumbs up to your videos. We're half way through planting our soybean crop here in Vermont

We had the bucket curl cylinder break on ours as well. Dad machined new pins on our lathe. My father and grandfather were machinists so we have lathes and mills to make our own parts if necessary. The oem pins just don't hold up that well . My father used high tensile strength heat treated round stock to make ours . Maybe if yours breaks try having them made instead of buying new ones. We are almost done planting we have 450 acres left out of our 4500. With rented ground we will have planted 5200 acres total Nice video stay safe and farm on my friends !

I agree with the adrenaline comment... speaking of Jacks I was in a accident a couple weeks ago where the jack on a round baler failed and the tongue fell onto my foot and almost amputated my toes... I may be losing my big toe and the one next to it... broke everything except my pinky toe.. multiple dislocations and fractures even shattered one toe... it's been pretty terrible

Ghetto Mechanic Tip on Cat Hood. Slightly Bend/ Smack lift cylinders sideways (adds a Bit of resistance) and they will work better than New and last a long time til you need to tweek and/or maybe never replace again. 👍👍👍

regarding the cylinder being bent previously we had the same issue on a folding disc cultivator. best solution is throw it all out and replace the full hydraulic(ram, seals and cylinder) system money spent is worth the time wasted.
