Nice. Yes Location location location! I bought mine from RCSparks and I also had the same issue with little rocks in the spur. It actually chewed it up so much that it stripped the entire spur. Pinion was fine. I ordered some metal replacement spurs from Alie xpress. Also, after some rallying, maybe 3 battery packs worth, the mini servo for 2 wd to 4 wd stripped also. I am looking for a suitable replacement. What a rig though!
I need to get myself one of those, they're awesome.!! 👍 👍 👍 Subbed & liked & the very best wishes from Scotland 🏴 🙏 ❤️ 📻 🕹️ 🔋 🚗 🚖 🚕 🚔 🚚 🚙 🚘 🚓 🚒 🚑 🚐 🚎 🚤 🚁 🛩️ 👍 👍 👍
That doesn't look 1/7 to me. It has different markings and seems a little bigger than the MJX 14303 1/14, but unless you're of the wee folk, that's probably a 1/10. How does it compare in size to the Traxxas Fiesta? It's supposed to be 1/10, but it's really about 1/8. I wonder if the they're the same size.
The Traxxas fiesta is based on the 1/10 Slash shortcourse chassis Short course trucks have always been larger, so it's difficult to compare them with other 1/10 models. And just because a model has a larger body and 1/8 buggy wheels, it doesn't make the model a 1/7 or 1/8 model. HPI WR8?! 🤷🏼♂️ scale 1/10 WB300, width 230 = 1/8 ? Axles 5mm, M4 thread = 1/10 wheels 80*35 mm, Not a 1/10 touring car, more like a buggy. Which suggests that the model is more like a 1/8 onroad car. These scale specifications have been deliberately softened, everything that sounds bigger sells better Which is proven again and again in the comments on UA-cam.
Awesome Rally Citroën ❤🤍💪😁
Thanks for the vid, man those skid plates are a nice addition. Need to get me a set.
Looks awesome 👌 I've had the traxxas rally car but for the money it looks like you get a lot more with this king motor rc

I just found the metal spurs on Ali. Will be ordering one tonight
Looks great 👍
Weird question, but do you think this sits in scale nicely when next to your UDR given they’re both 1/7?
Yes, that’s what I’d compare it to. Next video I’ll do a side by side
@ awesome!!!! Thanks
Have you noticed the rear tires ballooning too much and hitting the inner fenders? Thinking the rear shocks may need a stronger spring, too.
Maybe a tiny bit. It can def sit a bit higher for where I drive it. I’ll play with preload and maybe stiffer springs.
1/7? 😮
1/14
There’s a 1/14 version but this is definitely 1/7.
I’ll compare it to a UDR or Mojave in next video.
Yep, bigger than the Traxxas
@ it looks nice for sure, wondering 🤔 if I can possibly make a speedrun car out of one of those? Good idea I think 💭

This is based of the HPI VORZA/Apache 1/8 buggies so for rally its is a 1/8-1/7 considering the Citroën it’s based off is pretty short wheel based.
It’s definitely bigger than the Traxxas. It’s UDR scale for sure. Next video I’ll compare some other cars.
