I always loved that soojin stood up for herself. No idols ever stand up for themselves they just say sorry even if they didn’t do it. Even if it caused her to leave the group, she did what she thought was right. She never apologized because she didn’t do it. And now that the actress who accused her said that she wasn’t even sure soojin was part of the group that bullied her, soojin was right💜
I agree! Especially also because she “confessed” to some of the things I believe that she’s telling the truth. It’s just so unfortunate that the company who had so much control in this situation went this route. I’m extremely excited for her future though I’m sure she’ll be immensely successful ❤️

Forgot to add in my last comment, regarding your question about Last Dance editing Soojin out, you're 100% on the money there. Universe released a statement confirming they were going to re-edit the video and rerecord some of the vocals to remove Soojin prior to the song being released.
The wings aren't CGI... Soyeon is just so talented that she can manifest wings upon command lol I'll comment on the videos in your Patreon post, but I wanted to just add my comments on Soojin here. Cube has an awful record for how it treats its idols when "scandals" (some of which you could barely call them that) occur. Prior to Soojin's incident, Cube fired Hyuna and E-Dawn purely because they were dating. Hyuna is one of the biggest female idols there is and to lose her over such trivial nonsense is just madness imo. As for Soojin, I 100% agree with the point that these accusations stem form when she was apparently 12 years old. She will not be the same person now she was then, so even if true, she should be able to apologies, look to make amends and things move forward. This trend that peoples lives should be ruined for every infraction they've ever made is not healthy. There are levels and subtitles to things that need to be kept in perspective. That point aside, I just frankly don't believe everything that's been said. Soojin is so gentle, shy and unassuming that I can only imagine her being the same as a child. I can totally see where you'd read into Last Dance as about Soojin's incident, however the song was completed (though not released) before things came out about that. The song is however meant to have a 'Dark Witch' theme, and in that regard it could totally be about Soojin. The way her persona changes on stage to a sultry, sensual woman is completely bewitching!

Not to invalidate someone else’s feeling but me personally, I would never go to my bully’s workplace and get them fired for bullying me in high school. Those two things have nothing to do with each other and if I really cared about them taking responsibility, I’d want them to apologize, not get fired? I get that Soojin is a celebrity and it might be frustrating to see someone be so liked if they did you wrong, but again, ruining their career just seems so vindictive to me personally. For a company (Cube) removing an idol is not an easy task. To start, the company will lose all the time and money invested in training and promoting her, most likely millions of dollars not to mention future revenue from her activity. For Cube to decide to let her go quickly, I tend to think the company knew about her past very well and judged that the scandal will only grow if they tried to defend her. I think it will be best for Sujin too to take some time off and wait for this thing to cool off before coming back to entertainment industry.
This is why it’s so weird to me that they decided to drop her as soon as the allegations even came up. I mean if they knew about “the truth” and then still signed her, they had to expect this? Huh okay, in the beginning when I was new to the group, fans kept telling me that their name is said without the g, which is the way they introduce themselves in Korean as well. I always want to say Gidle as well but understood that that’s not the official way to say it. Not sure, either way I love them!

Pronouncing the G versus not pronouncing it wasn't a "nickname", it was something the group itself did...typically (but not always) including the G for Korean promotions and dropping it for international benefit. But YOU, sir, (1) imprinting your opinion onto the matter, (2) creating a false dichotomy, dropping the G is ABSOLUTELY NOT the same as dropping Soojin, and (3) calling people on the wrong side of the false dichotomy _you've defined_ "trash" demonstrates everything wrong with kpop fandom. "Fans" who pull shit like that ARE (IMO) trash. I don't effing care if someone calls the group Gee-idol, Idol, or Giddel! I know who they mean! We can at least agree that dropping Soojin on the unsubstantiated word of a single accuser was grossly unfair to Soojin.
