all the songs / videos of twice are incredible, but "likey" it was one of the first kpop videos that I saw and that I liked, that's why I have a special affection for it 😊
I feel like Likey was a launch point into the Second Era of Twice. From 'Like Ooh Ahh' to 'Signal' was Twice establishing themselves, and with Signal experimenting. 'Likey' felt really fresh and explosive even though it wasn't a huge departure from their previous sound. Their look developed a little with some hints to more mature styling but still in a youthful, feminine way. This continued throughout the songs you mentioned all the way to 'Fancy' which kicked off Twice's Third Era, where there was a definite more mature vibe both in styling (darker colours, sexier) and music (less pop, more dance). One of the keys to Twice becoming the biggest girl group in Korea is absolutely the choreography. Their routines have always had key chorus sections with simple hand/arm movements that are easily repeatable, memorable, memeable and useable in a variety of situations from the playground to TV. This allowed everyone from young kids to grannies to participate with Twice. Add to that to the catchy hooks and turns of phrase like Shy Shy Shy that became their own little zeitgeist and it's hard to resist their charm. visuallythethe
Vancouver is basically a stunt double for many large American cities, especially New York and Seattle. So many American movies and TV shows are filmed there that it's become known as Hollywood North.

Can relate to the noisy neighbours thing. The chorus has been incorporated into my internal monologue everytime I think to myself I like something, its just them singing the chorus. A fun little thing I noticed is that when they're at the BB cream verse, one of the signs they do with their hands is the TT hand emote from their song 'TT' and their 'Signal' hand antenna move as well, before the motion of taking a photo with a camera.

as i saw, TWICE always play with their old songs, like you said, the hall way, the alien sticker on the camera(signal?), the stadium(cheer up). as they did put 'camera head man' from 'cheer up' in 'signal' :D. just some gimmicks but so fun to watch. :) (i just realized that they even did it in TTT (time to twice) ('crime scene' -> 'tdoong entertainment') :D ) i'm still digest 'TWICEtagram'. :D in 'TWICEtagram' album, i thinks they use artificial sound a lot, and all the songs kind of related to SNS like '24/7', even 'turtle' and 'look at me' (i just saw old VLIVE and they said 'ding dong' is online order food app. :D) and again the last 3 songs are kind of 'highlight' (just for me anyway. :D) especially the last one 'sleep tight goodnight', that they use more acoustic sound and said about 'hard work today, right? you did well, please rest well.' something like that, and it's really a good message. just sharing my thought. :P love your reaction, and detail your describe. The song is actually more about the social media (their instagram, Jihyo vlogging, and the likes - heart actions in the choreograph), rather the a boy-girl relationship. thought you would have caught it after watching the MV....Twice have some songs that have deeper meanings than what it seems.
I’m pretty bad at understanding meaning in lyrics or catching storylines in MVs which is why I concentrate more on the technical things. Sorry to disappoint with that, I’m just not smart enough to look underneath the surface 😅
Likey was shot entirely on location in Vancouver Canada. Fans can still visit those shops and alleyways in the video.
