Camelworks Hey Camel, I really like morrowind because it was the first RPG I've ever played. But everytime I try to make another playthrough I end up getting bored or stuck. Are there any tips or mods you can recommend to make the game more enjoyable?

The Wings Of The Queen Of Bats was likely unused content from the Vampirism questlines, much like Spellbreaker. By extension it would seem connected to Molag Bal.What's even more interesting is that its appearance (The placement of red points being eyes and such) is very similar to the face of a Vampire Lord in Skyrim. However since the axe is supposed to look like a bat, and Vampire Lords like some kind of humanoid bat, its no wonder they're similar.

You mixed up Drain Health for Absorb Health, as Drain Health just temporarily removes HP until it wear off or they die.

Dude you forgot what Drain Health did. It diminishes maximum health of the target as opposed to Damage effect (DOT) and Absorb (gives you enemy's health).

Assuming you've played it, is Morrowind any good?
Morrowind was my introduction to the Elder Scrolls franchise, and I've since played them all because Morrowind was just THAT good. It hasn't aged very well, as modern graphics tend to blow vanilla ES3 away (and a LOT of players won't play a graphically outdated game, the losers) as well as once you figure out a few coding loopholes and set item placements, you can make a god character in about an hour that is practically unkillable and able to trounce the game.
If you're in it for the lore, the exploration of a new realm, a need to traverse the blasted and desolate landscape, and want to see the historic roots of Skyrim and Oblivion, then I believe you'll enjoy the hell out of ES3. I *still* play it (14-May-2017) vanilla without cheap leveling tactics just have fun.
Just be prepared for a few game play changes if you're used to ES4 and 5. No compass, the minimap is rather useless, there is no map fast travel; its all lore-friendly boats, silt striders, Mage's Guild teleportation, and spells to take you to the Tribunal and Divines temples (called Almsivi's and Divine intervention, respectively) as well as the good old fashioned foot, and there are no quest markers; you must actually read your journal, and remember what you have going on.
Use some mods bruh, not complete overhauls, but some quality of life mods
@@kevinj4204 there are some great mods out now that leave the intent of the game vanilla but improve the graphics and fix the bugs.

Did you know that Clutterbane monkey is an essential character? And on top of that, he wears daedric armor (minus the helmet and boots, because he is an Argonian) and very tough opponent. Also hostile.
Never even played Morrowind, but these videos are still entertaining as hell.
I remember a character named Llevule Andrano whose skull we were supposed to deliver for Sharn gra-Muzgob in Balmora Mages Guild. I reckon the Staff of Llevule may be his doing, as he was an enchanter according to Sharn.
Elder Scrolls Online makes reference to him. In Morrowind DLC, he is a priest serving the Vivec.
You mention that the Throwing Knife of Sureflight looks like a regular steel dagger. In unpatched Morrowind ALL steel throwing knives use the steel dagger model, and the throwing knife model sat unused.
Roses are red, I collect sticks, as E3 approaches I pray for TES 6, but then I remember what Todd Howard said, and my heart is suddenly filled with dread, for as we all know, great art takes time, and 2017 is simply too short down the line.

There are. Also there are 3 joinable vampire clans.
I think that the Wings of Queen of Bats would belong to a vampiric workshipper of Molag Bal.

The awesome thing about the vampire clans of Morrowind is that no one tells you you can join them - you get infected then show up at one of their bases just to find that they won't try to kill you and may give you a chance to join their clan. Much more interesting than Dawnguard.

Hey man I love the videos! Was actually just playing Morrowind on PC and I noticed that the "Right Gauntlet of Horny Fist" can be bought by Galbedir in the mages guild in Balmora! Just thought I would let you know, if you even care about this video anymore 😅
throwing weapons in Morrowind were basically useless. Sure you could throw them incredibly fast and the dark brotherhood used them a lot against you for the Tribunal expansion, but you ate through your supply too fast for them to really be viable options.
I liked the queen wings weapon it should have been hidden loot.

Azura's star can be found on the p.c. of morrowind the code is Coc toddtest it will take you to a area that the developers made and has every single item in the game
That too, although for some odd reason. You only get the throwing star on the Xbox version.
My strongest Morrowind character was a Breton battlemage with heavy armor and swords. He'd switch between an enchanted sword and an ebony staff that I enchanted with absorb magica (which, yes, I had to use console commands to get in my library) and he kicked ass. Hit with the staff to restore your mana for more magic attacks!
I wonder if Camel will ever get to around to finishing the rest of the Morrowind videos. I don't have high hopes though.

I found Azura's Star between sheogorad and azura's coast. You have to find azura's temple and activate her statue.
Actually, you have to finish a quest for her.

Azura's Star (throwing star) was in the game on the Xbox console. I actually did the Azura Quest on Xbox.
clutter bane is the morag tongs weapon. when a gangster uses speech craft, it actually means they just broke a bone in your body so you would see their point more clearly...

I think the Wings of the queen of bats may have been meant for molab bal’s daughter in the cure for vampirism quest.
Hopefully someone can help me out here. I just started playing morowind for the first time and every 10 minutes or so the game just crashes for no apparent reason. Is the game just so old it doesn't mesh well with current day graphics cards?
Try to apply the 4GB patch. But there's other engine replacer that I would recommend using instead of sticking plain vanilla.
I swear I remember finding the Wings in a crate in a Balmora alleyway. Maybe a random spawn (unlikely) or an accident from an unclean mod?

Maybe the Queen of Bats would have had the Mace of Molag Bal, after all it seems very vampiric. And it was removed because getting two amazing artifacts in one quest would be too easy.

Could the Wings of the Queen of Bats be connected to a Molag Bal quest? Since Molag Bal is the creator of the vampires and the first vampire happened to be female, could it be that this was supposed to be the reward to his daedric quest instead of the Mace of Molag Bal?
I believe you could get azura's start by doing a quest for azura. I have it in game.

@@Camelworks In the vanilla version (mainly Xbox port) you do get the throwing star instead of the soul gem (like you are supposed to). My guess is that the developer had an oversight to the Azura quest reward.

@Terrance Smith now. This comment is super old so I don't remember the context. But I'm pretty sure its a joke about the fact that the video is titled "unobtainable" and for every single item he points out that it's not able to be found in the game. Like, yeah, that's what unobtainable means.

Molag bal has no gender so it could be the queen of bats as it created vamps
Атын енгізіңіз Bal typically manifests as male, which is why it is referred to as "he". I think Boethiah or Malacath (one of the two) is more gender-fluid, but the others tend to stick with one gender (including, oddly enough, Sheogorath).
@@nicholasfarrell5981 Boethiah is the only daedric prince who is so. I remembered that Boethiah was mentioned as a "he" in one game, then "she" the next game.

Daedric Cresent Blade. I haven't tried to get that in a while. But it is possible to get 2 of them. Because that Dremora is wielding the original Daedric Cresent Blade. After you had defeated him, you instantly teleport back to where you orignally teleported inside the temple.
I do not know the full story (because I didn't remember) or know where the temple originally from (my guess is that Daedric Ruin nearby Sadrith Mora).

I need to correct you about the Wings of the Queen of Bats:
The drain health effect will reduce the target's health for 30 seconds by an amount of 1 to 10. Not a strong effect at all. (It's not per second, but rather the amount that the health is temporarily reduced by.) You're also not given the drained health, that effect would be called "absorb health". :)
