I’ll stand on the fact that his 2002 run was entertaining as hell. He had some of the best matches of his career and he was putting over the younger talent. Not to mention he was getting some of the loudest and longest pops I’ve ever heard.

Not to mention he lost most of his big matches while he was back against Rock,Kurt Angle,Triple H,and Undertaker. Hogan was actually doing jobs during that run. Also him not putting people over is false. While he didn’t lose a lot in his Hulkamania run in WWF,that was mostly due to Vince not wanting him to lose because he felt the fans didn’t want to see him get beat(from the words of Bruce Prichard). In WCW he actually did more jobs for people than he ever did in his WWF run. Losing to Flair,Arn Anderson,Luger,Sting. Even putting over a very young and green Bill Goldberg for the World title,giving a rookie Giant his first crack at the big time in a big ppv match with him,and lost to Kidman multiple times. The new plan was just to get him an opponent who could work a good match, with no plans on having him drop the title. They got that with Booker. Booker was ecstatic and is still gleeful about it today, he was in a tag team with Goldust that fought for tag titles that only made it on to the Sunday night heat pre-show, he got hotshotted to a world title match at Mania and the best payday of his entire career. But yeah, the internet decided it was one of the biggest travesties in wrestling history.

My favorite moment in wrestling is when Hogan and Flair went at it old school style and killed it. A figure four turns into a stunner and Hogan wins! Hulk Hogan is a flawed human but a wrestling business genius. He made more in WCW than the WWF and he was at the end of his career, although he did make a great comeback later.
