The American Association of Private Rail Car Owners (AAPRCO) held their annual convention in Albuquerque, New Mexico in September 2019. One of their activities was to tour the restoration site of AT&SF 2926.

Thanks Charles. First they have to get it out of the restoration site which requires a $30,000 upgrade to the track.
Yard Limit - the track and switch upgrades have been completed.
Tom, for $50 bucks you can have a wireless lavalier mike that would enable you to capture the voice (first gentleman) without the extraneous noise that made his conversation so hard to hear. A must have for interviews.
Thanks Paul. I wasn't really trying to interview Doyle. I was just trying to capture the flavor of the event. I look dorky enough running around with a gopro on an Osmo.
Is it possible we can see santa fe 2926 under steam by the end of 2019 and probably by 2020 she'll be pulling her first excursions

If the AAPRCO members visited 2926, this most likely means they are planning to use it to pull their excursions
It just means it was something interesting for them to see while in ABQ.
