    I DON'T think you pressure cook it😳
    Ingredients:
8 oz. Glass Bottle or Jar
    7 Vanilla Beans
1 cup Vodka 70 Proof/35% Alcohol (or you can also use Bourbon, Rum or Brandy; any brand/quality)
    Step 1: SLICE
Slice each bean once long-ways and place in bottle. (If it helps to cut them into smaller, tootsie roll-sized pieces so they fit in the bottle more easily, go for it).
    Step 2: POUR
Pour one cup of vodka, rum or alcohol of your choice (no cheating now -- the whole cup needs to go into the bottle). Make sure vanilla beans are completely submerged.
    Step 3: SHAKE
Shake once or twice a week - for best results, shimmy to the beat of "Rock Lobster" by the B52's.
    Step 4: WAIT
Wait about 8 weeks (plenty of time to research oodles of scrumptious Baking Recipes)
Presto, your alcohol has turned into delicious vanilla! Store it at room temp and out of direct sunlight, and you can enjoy this puppy til' the last drop!

Oh wow amazing instructions, thank you thank you! It’s almost like I messed up by doing too much lol! I also only added 3 beans per jar so perhaps that’s why it wasn’t concentrated enough. Alas, I must try again! Thanks for taking the time to share with me 👍❤️

    Hello,
Mulberry and grape molases with walnuts are such a great snack and/or breakfast addition. (I also tried this with raw almonds. Not as good as with walnuts but good enough.)
Dipping cucumber slices to mulberry molasses - again such a great way to consume molasses: the freshness of cucumbers balances the sweetness of molases.
You know how little kids love to do everything adults do:)) We make 'tea' by adding a teaspoon of molasses to 100ml warm-ish water and sip it during breakfast or at tea-time:)) Makes kids happy + they have extra nutrition:))
Mixing tahini with mulberry or grape molases is also another great way of consuming them. I don't have the measurements, I just go with texture and taste. Being able to spread on a slice of bread is the consistency I look for when mixing them. But it is all about taste and preferences. I know molases in US is mostly from sugarcane or sugar beet, and I never had molases from them, but I thought the way we consume fruit based molases might be applicable to sugarcane/beet molases, or at least I'd give an idea... :)

wow this is fascinating thank you for taking the time to write this out for me! I have never tried fruit molasses but by the way you say you pair it with things it sounds inherently more delicious than molasses from cane sugar! I think I could get used to cane sugar molasses more if I used it more (it's a must in homemade BBQ sauce!).

Easiest way to make vanilla extract is just slice the vanilla pod down the center but not all the way through just enough to expose the seeds, and place in a glass jar with vodka. It takes about 4-6 months to extract and blend (I go the full 6 months). I make two at a time then use one for my go to and top it off from the other one as I use it up then top that bottle off with more vodka. No cooking needed.

The honey is really delicious from Azure for sure and I've tried raw honey from many sources with some being great and others just okay. I would recommend the orange honey if you found the flower one off-putting in the past...I agree it is strong and sometimes you don't necessarily want that type of honey flavor.

1.6 grams of beans to pint of alchol for single fold vanilla extract. It takes like a year of hanging out, and will still smell somewhat alcholy when its done. You should taste it with some yogurt or whipped cream to see if it tastes OK. You can also use wood finishing blocks to mellow things out, but I've never tired that method. Pressure cooking alcohol even in sealed mason jars is considered unsafe by a lot of people due to the risk of alcohol vapor getting out and causing fires. Hip pressure cooking ha an article about it on their website.

To make vanilla you need 1 ounce (by weight) of vanilla beans to 1 cup of alcohol. You can use vodka or bourbon. Make sure your vanilla beans are fresh as possible. They should be plump and pliable, not dry at all. Do not cut the beans. Be sure they are completely submerged in the alcohol, bend or tie if necessary to get to fit in your jar. Let them sit in a dark place for at least 6 months, shaking jar occasionally.

Never get grade A beans for vanilla. They aren't dry enough. I would put twice as many pods per pint and always cut open the pods. For the first month store it on your counter so to remember to shake it at least once a day. You can purchase drier beans and cut and pop them into your jar with other beans. I have never seen instructions to process them in any way. Put them on the shelf and leave them for 6 months but I prefer a year at least.
