People always say this movie favored Christendom because the Knight Hospitaller was confirmed by the director to be an 'angel' but that in itself is just a claim by those looking too deep. This entire show has the theme that "Religion" is not real and many commit terrible things in the name of it, but the God is. And never once does 'God' choose a side in the film, in fact, everything the Knight Hospitaler does is to insure that Balian makes it to the point at which he can make a choice to save all manner of people of several religions instead of them be slaughtered. The entire point of Balian was to act as a foil to several characters need to slaughter in the name of religion, his entire purpose and calling was to meet Salahudin in that moment to negotiate a peaceful surrender.

ولو كان
قابلا للإنهاء لأفلح التتار !!

وبأسه على المجرمين لا يرد
This entire scene left me speechless
Salahudin shows respect on other religion. What a true muslim!
baldwin and salahudin is great leaders .it show theres no relegion devide us all when you priority humanity in ur life. keeping all balance. Its just some people are not contented and like being on top of others. that what make world shread blood.
Jesus is also a sacred prophet in Islam
@Iggyg72589 no we don't,our God is one ,he's unique nothing like him no begining nor end
He doesn't begets nor begotten
We accept all his noble messengers
Peace be upon all of them
@Iggyg72589 It's upon you.
But we respect and accept the scripture of Jesus. David, Moses, Mohammed.
At least Jesus didn’t married 6 year old girl. 😂
For us he is God . And we don't believe in ur prophet or Quran
@Igzzz It is. Also Moses, Maria & the Archangel Gabriel have an important role in Quran
If Saladin and Baldwin existed today they'd probably be ufc champions.
If all Muslims would act like this in Europe half of European Problems would be gone
they respected each other, but saladin would never do that with a cross, religious rivalry is one strong thing
Again we need salahduin
Soon every muslim all over the world will come to palestine and will pray in Baitul Maqdas.....soon inshallah.....same like sallahuddin....
best movie I ever watch! may Allah always blessing us!!!
I rendered it to 8k, but it may not show up in the quality options.
Just so you know.
8k?! I think my monitor would grow arms and slap me if I even tried
lmfao that is very funny because i tried it in 8k and it would work but a little lag going on so basically my poor laptop dont like 8k just 4k is fine...and even if you have a good piece of hardware still just try 4k it looks much better anyway.
respect among enemies..
Salahudin it’s truly a noble knight and great leader of Muslim ❤
To se salahudeen do that and show respect to the cross gave me chills.
Yes, in the religion Islam, there are pillars of Islam and pillars of faith. There are 5 pillars of Islam and 6 pillars of faith, and they contain two pillars: “Belief in the heavenly books and belief in the messengers.”
A Muslim must respect others, no matter how different they are in their religion. Jesus is a prophet and a messenger from God, and Moses also, peace be upon them
@@wcddpr thanks for the lesson I took have also respected foreign gods and religions for we are simply all just 1
Psalm 122-6 pray for the peace of Jerusalem
One day, the Muslims will take it all back and this will be reality. And all Jews Christian’s and Muslims will live in peace
This was the case, until Israelis came and showed their true colours.
That statement is contradictory

How so? Peace cannot be acquired by protesting, it must seized with pressure. Whether diplomatically, economically, politically or forcibly.
If the Israeli government was peaceful, do you think there would be a problem. But when you are apartheid, you can never expect your nation to last. Especially when your nation exists on the land holy to the three religions.
Umar Ibn Al-Khattab took Jerusalem by conquest, then he showed compassion. Which allowed coexistance.
The Zionists took Jerusalem by deciet and unneccessary bloodshed, then they showed disdain. The instability of Israel will be it's downfall, and the downfall of it's biggest supporter, the US.
When People /Christians Abandon God ,GOD will give them to their enemies.
Thank you for the video description
I wish I could time travel to see this man irl
Saladin was one of the greatest generals. It is sad then that his story climaxs with the capture of the holy city to christendom. I know Jerusalem is holy to Muslims and Jews but the loss of that city marked a major turning point in Christian power. No longer was the west so invested in a strong east. I genuinely believe that you could draw a line from the fall of Jersualm to events that led to the collapse of Christanity in the east.
History always great
Even the Oscar bows in front of the Music
May i reupload this, brother?

Dear Hearts, I was able to purchase a copy of the Director's cut. Watched it yesterday (2/8 /2024). It is an exquisite movie. Many world leaders and politicians could learn from this film. All Love
salahudin was truly a great leader of men, but what many dont know is that islam holds jesus in extremely high regard and esteem, even as far as him being referred to as a messiah and even "Christ" in the quran (though obviously in a different context from christianity), second in prophetic stature only to muhammad himself. it stands to reason that muslims of the time would respect relics of christ, for even if they do not acknowledge him as divine, his teachings and history are indispensable to the islamic faith. if only people in our day of both religions could realize that we share much more in common than anyone realizes
no we dont and christians do not care if we respect jesus pbuh. they want us and everyone else to worship him like a god or son of god or both or whatever. idk why some muslims try to say crap like this. trust me they do not care one bit we know hes a prophet actually they hate that we only see him as a prophet. they think its wrong and disrespectful lol
Allah o Akbar Aslam alaika ya Nabi al akhir SAW
Thats the thing with jerusalem: whenever christians (past) or jews (present) had control of it, a massacre happened. Whenever muslims had it, peace was there
@@grourafit does look like someone is buried there
@@grouraf Salut, comment vas tu? Il est rapporté dans l'Histoire que le roi Baudouin IV, après sa mort, fut enterré au pied du Golgotha, ou mont Calvaire, à côté du Saint-Sépulcre.
Jews dont like this kind of scene.
Some jews do like this scene. Some jews still worship God to the best of their capabilities. Only a few make the mischief and they call themselves jews but they are not but part of The Synagogue of Lucifer
Mid-raelis specifically and zionist sympathizers not our fellow normal jews
Inshallah we will again take it back when mahdi come
Never
ingshaALLAH
No matter how big you are, you're nothing compared to the lord of the Worlds, Allah. No one has the right to pull the cape of Allah, which is arrogance and only he should have the pride
Now, this time, Doc comes down to the expected Mahdi, the command of God after Salah al -Din is that they are a unit of unity
Is that some kind of extended version? I watched the movie on Disney+ and on that platform everything after 1:53 is cut.
This is Directors Cut
وازاي صناع الفيلم غير مسلمين وقدمو صلاح الدين بصورة محترمة كده
I did not see anyone answer you, and I hope Google translates my response correctly. This is a great question!
The Director was Ridley Scott, a very famous British director who is known for doing years of research. He made the Gladiator movie, as well as Alien, and The Martian. He has been nominated for the top Academy Award for Best Director four times and won once. He is known for being very accurate and taking great care in what he makes.
he not only picked up the cross actually a historical fact for you Salahudin gave refuge to certain christens in Egypt who were been abused by the catholic church they are the base for the Christan minority that exist there till this day also Salahudin gave refuge to jews who were been abused in Europe and his personal doctor very famous doctor by the name of moussas bin Maymouna who escaped Spain cause of the abuse.
