A most enjoyable trip through the sites where the 1995 Pride and Prejudice was filmed. It’s so interesting to see what the locations actually looked like and how they were dressed for their roles in the film. This program does show how careful the production was to select houses that show the lives of the residents in their proper social settings. They were as much characters in the story as the people!
I so thoroughly enjoyed this tour through the English city and countryside as a new viewer of P&P. Your passion and excitement are contagious, and the tour was a glimpse into British life then and now. As an American who has never been to the U.K,. it was a wonderful education. Thanks so much for your videos and I hope you plan on giving us more of them. 🙂
What a treat! The 95 was by far my favorite, and Colin Firth the quintessential Mr Darcy. Jennifer Ehle was so good as Lizzie. I always wonder what Jane Austin would say about her characters being played by the different actors. Loved the tour. Thank you!
This was delightful. Plus your clear knowledge of Pride and Prejudice made it like listening to a friend about a mutually favorite subject. Thank you so much for putting this together.
Thank you for your lovely comment. I have to say I really enjoyed being in the locations and it was a definite must to create the video and share with like-minded P&P fans 😊
Thank you so much for showing us the actual locations for 1995 P&P. I was in love with Mr. Darcy for 10 years! The actors were perfect for each character. I must have read the book 100 times and watch the movies many, many times over. Thank you again!
I'm glad you liked it. I must say I've watched the series so many times and I felt I had to find the locations, if only so that I could re-live everything myself! I've always loved how Jennifer Ehle portrays Elizabeth❤️
I have to admit that when I got married in 1997, my wedding dress was based on Lizzy’s dress at Netherfield (where she surprised Darcy in the billboard room) 🥰
I've watched this series at least a thousand times and I never noticed his hand caressing hers as he helps her into the carriage. Thank you good sir for pointing that out. I will remember to notice next time. Thank you for this great video.
@@TudorSmith Well of course it was! Years ago I heard somewhere that the actors did in fact date each other for a while back in the day. Either way - a very sweet and appropriate gesture. So romantic.
Indeed. I just read that they were romantically involved and as Jennifer Ehle stated "We were together for about a year, but it was not as the press reported it; an affair. We were two single people who had a relationship". We do hear of main part actors in productions becoming involved with each other. It is probably the intensity of film and production. And well, if you have to kiss your co-star...it's got to go somewhere hasn't it? 🤣
I happened upon this video and have to say it was such a lovely surprise. Thank you so very much for showing this American fan where it was filmed. I loved it!
Found this video by chance. The ONLY version of P and P that I, personally, really love. Great to see all the places depicted in the series. Thanks for all your hard work
I'm a big fan of P&P 95 like yourself and have been fortunate enough to stay in Lizzies room as the owner calls it at the rectory at Teigh. Mr Collins famous closet with shelves is still there..a happy thought indeed! You can also sit in the famous room where the marriage proposal is rejected in no uncertain terms. At the back of Belton House just up from the park is Bellmount Tower and behind this is is a lovely wood with a path through it. This was the location used where Lizzie encounters Mr Darcy on his horse. Also just across from the tower is the location you can still identify he trees where Darcy hands his letter to Lizzie. We recently visited the Derbyshire locations you have featured in your video. The urge to jump in the lake at Lyme was very strong but the wife thought it wouldn't quite have the same effect on her as Colin Firth! Thanks for your wonderful and inciteful video.
Oh wow - more locations for me to visit. I’ve always wondered where the woods were where Lizzie encounters Darcy and then reads the letter. Thanks for the heads up 👍
Bravo Tudor! I too agree with your statements on the ‘95 version and Jennifer’s superlative role in same. I did not stop smiling, with the occasional chortle, on your brilliant guide commentary…I loved every scene and visit. And if your acting gigs are lacking; your barbering skills will do you well.
I love how you quote the dialogue all the way through. Very entertaining for a fan of P&P. Absolutely my favorite adaptation of it, too. Iconic. Got a chuckle out of the Lady Catherine quotes early on (prettiest sort of wilderness, obstinate headstrong girl) and the Mr. Collins one later (modest equipage).
Greetings from South Africa! 🇿🇦 I am so happy to have stumbled upon your delightful videos! I still have this wonderful production on a DVD-set that I've cherished for many years. I was 8 years old when it came out, but only saw it on TV when I was about 10... it captured my imagination and gave me a love for period pieces, not to mention a love for Jane Austin's writing! This will forever be my Mr. Darcy & Lizzie Bennet. 💕 Thank you for taking us on this very interesting tour of the buildings and scenes, so engraved in our memories, of such a beloved and character rich love-story.
Thank you so very much.. 1995 Pride and Prejudice ..the book comes alive…my favorite rendition. Just Beautifully done. Thank you for taking us with you to these wonderful sights not movie sets but actual locations. I too own the BBC 95’ box set watch it at least once a year.
Even though you filmed this a year ago, UA-cam has just put it in my path as it knows what a massive fan of the 1995 BBC production of Pride & Prejudice I am. I saw it broadcast originally and have watched countless times since, so like you I can quote the dialogue! Such a thrill to see all the filming locations and what a great job they and you did. My absolute favourite scene filmed at Lambourne was Lady Catherine de Bourgh arriving in her stately carriage with her sickly niece promised to D'Arcy. She demands to know if Lizzie has spoilt her plans as they take a turn about the garden. "Who are you to think you could marry my nephew?!" She wails, "Who is your Mother? Who is your Father?!" Lizzie angrily replies, "He is a gentleman, I am a gentleman's daughter, in that sphere we are equal!" From the days we had magnificent character actors! Every single performance given in that series was superb. I've never been able to watch the 2005 film, after a few minutes of seeing chickens running around Lambourne and I have to switch over. Ooh by the way, there was definitely an extra affectionate rub of the hand by D'Arcy as he helped Lizzie into the carriage, but of course they were an item off set. ❤
Loved this video. My daughter and I just finished watching the series…again! She asked me was it too soon, I said no, you see something different every time you watch!
Splendid tour!!! Just as the '95 series has shone through three decades, your video is now 2 years old and lots of us still enjoying it. What a treat! Thank you!
Stumbled across your video, this has to be the most delightful 'fling locations' video I've ever seen. Your obvious love for the story makes this an absolute delight to watch. Thank you.
Funny finding someone so enthralled w/ this. I sometimes watch this on 60 in just to absorb all the background scenes, the woodwork, wallpaper, flooring, etc. Truly one of the greatest entertainments on celluloid! Yes you deserve a thumbs up and sub ❤
The thumb close-up in slow-mo made me howl! Thank you for the walk and the memories. Your dedication and hard work are appreciated. I had such a lovely time...
Thank-you for this and all your other videos. I discovered your channel very, very early this morning, and I look forward to seeing what else you have.
Thank you for making this video. It was very interesting. In my opinion, this is the only version of Pride and Prejudice on film that’s worth watching. It’s so. accurate and gorgeous. I enjoyed your tour very much!
@@TudorSmith I truly appreciate you taking the time and resources to make these videos! I may never get to see these beautiful, historic places, but your videos are the next best thing!!! I hope you’ll make more!! 👍❤️
Best production ever of Pride and Prejudice, I watch it often and love reading the book. The cast was absolutely spot on, especially Colin Firth, Jennifer Ehle, Alison Steadman and David Bamber. They were all magnificent in their roles though. I read the book first then saw this version and it was exactly as I had pictured it. Stunning production and music too.
That production was so polished and brought the story to life - at least for me. The cast (all of them including all the supporting cast) really acted convincingly 👍
Thank you for a brilliant video! Your enthusiasm is infectious! Elizabeth is the center of Pride and Prejudice. Light and bright and sparkling! I can't believe Jennifer Ehle was left out of the church snippet about filming P&P. Her performance on the series was exquisite! I love the way you've memorized the lines; I've watched the series many times myself and it's nice to find someone else who loves it so much. Thank you for sharing your knowledge of the series.
I can’t help myself with those line recitals. I often find myself using them in my every day speech. Happy thought indeed 🤣 Thanks for your lovely comment and for watching 🙏
Thank you so much for doing this walkabout! I’ll never have a chance to go to England and see all these sites. So thank you for the tour! Your fellow “P and P” fan!
Stumble upon this and how wonderful it is that you sir put all these remarkable places together, a gem for all the fans of 1995 P&P fans! Took a trip to the south of England many years ago, and it remains one of my fondest memories. Gotta put some of these places on the itinerary, and book a night in Mr Colins' home if there is a chance to revisit England. Thank you again!
Thank you so much! Loved seeing all these magical sites & you setting them up so well. Almost as good as being there 👍🏻 think i’m off to watch pride & prejudice again right now 😃
The Darcy's Pond scene - the way I read it, he is home, he can now be himself, relaxed, and he is in a way, washing the stress off. When he walks to the house, it's almost jaunty; Elizabeth catches him when he is utterly at ease with himself - and there is the real Darcy. Obviously he is astonished to see her, (pleased), but he is at home, and enough in command of the situation to seize his moment.
What a delightful surprise that your video popped up on my feed. I loved every minute of it. Back in 2012 I think it was, I took a vacation to the UK and Europe from Australia. I was fortunate enough at the time to come across a small group tour that, over 4 days, took us to almost all of the locations you cover in this video. The company I travelled with at the time was called Pride & Prejudice Tours run by a wonderful lady called Helen Porter. She mentioned during our 4 days together that she had originally put this tour together as a birthday present for her daughter and it was meant to be a one off. However, she got such good feedback about it (I'd imagine from friends and the like) that she made an actual public tour out of it. What was so special about it was that she developed a good relationship with the owners at the time of the house that was used as Longborne (not sure of spelling) as the Bennett family home. So we actually got the opportunity to visit the house inside, be treated to a wonderful supper in one of the rooms used in the filming and we were taught some of the dances of the time in the house itself. I was beside myself with joy as was the rest of the group. We also visited and stayed in the B&B you mentioned that was used as Mr & Mrs (Charlotte) Collins' home, Hunsford Parsonage. And to top off what was already the best travel experience I have ever had, I was allocated the bedroom that was used as Lizzie's bedroom in series when she stayed with the Collins'. I was beside myself ... truly the most wonderful travel experience I ever had. We also got to have afternoon tea in the very same sitting room in which Darcy first propses to Lizzie, the one with the brown wallpaper. The only sad thing about the whole experience was knowing that this was to be the last of the P&P tours of its kind that Helen was running. I can't remember the reason she gave, but I believe she moved on the running Downton Abbey tours after that. I'm not sure what she's doing today, but I will forever remember that tour as a highlight of my many travel experiences and I am very glad I got the opportunity to go on it. I also thank you for putting this wonderful video together. It not only brings back wonderful memories of the actual mini-series, but of my tour experiences back in 2012. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Thanks for showing us the locations. I have been watching this drama since 2004. I am inclined to watch all the episodes all the time. My all time favourite P&P 1995.
I've only just discovered your channel and I have I am utterly delighted at this wonderful content! I love your enthusiasm for the book and the 1995 series and I have to say this looks very professional in terms of editing and presentation as well. I hope to see more of this lovely content in the future! ❤
Thank you for doing this beautifully presented video. I have visited many of these sites but I did not know where that rock was that we saw Lizzy walking towards when she visited Derbyshire (and find I've driven past it without knowing). This adaptation I believe is the one that started, or rather increased, the fascination with Jane Austen and spawned many other adaptations of her work, which still continue today. I missed this adaptation when it first came out, but when I saw it repeated, somewhere around 2003 I think, I went absolutely bonkers over it, goodness knows how many times I've rewatched it. I know I'd need much more than my hands and feet to count it :) That music brings it all back, wonderfull music, perfectly matching the period music, and I was so sad to hear the composer died recently, last week. Thanks again for this, and for pointing out that astonishing omission of Jennifer Elhe's name on that plaque. Goodness, that's like missing out Renee Zellweger's name on a plaque about Bridget Jones's Diary.
It’s certainly a blend of great acting, beautiful scenery and costumes and enchanting music. Yes I have no idea why they only included Colin Firths name on the plaque since Elizabeth is the central character of the story! If I did a filming locations video for Bridget Jones’ Diary there’d probably be a plaque or two for Colin Firth as Mr Darcy 😜
Thank you for doing this, i enjoyed it. Watching P&P 1995 version for the first time in 2015 i was blown away. Probably watched it 100 times since then 🙂
@@TudorSmith Absolutely, it's perfect in every sense, the cast, the music, the nature, the buildings etc. I would like to visit some of the film locations, greetings from Sweden.
Loved this full spectrum account of the locations used in the 1995 version of Pride and Prejudice. What I admire most about that production is that the fullness of the storytelling requires the time and attention to detail and the crew did their job from a to z. Mr. Darcy's "thumb" was a surprise to me, but I loved the closeup and agree with your assessment...😊
What a fabulous video - thank you so much. I love your relaxed delivery style & informative presentation. Belton House is a particular favourite of ours & we visit several times a year - sadly, no sightings of Mr Darcy there so far! Interestingly, the orangery there has more recently been used for the Bridgerton spin-off, Queen Charlotte.
LOVELY TOUR ♥️.. Thank you. I’d love to go to Lyme Park gift shop. My wife has watched it at least 150 plus times. Often on in the house 😉😉. Dialogue is fun.
I just happened upon your video (finally?). What a fine piece of work you have done. I especially appreciated the superimpositions at the various locations. I've forwarded it to several of my fellow Pride & Prejudice devotees. Bravo!
I was in secondary school and had to read the book. My mum and gf were obsessed with thr series, and being from Derby, I've visited all of the Peak District locations
Thank you for your marvelous tour of Pride and Prejudice locations. Like many Jane Austen fans, I consider the ‘95 BBC version to be definitive. How wonderful to see those beloved locations and hear the lines so dear to my heart! I have subscribed, and guess what - I am somewhat of a Beatles fan as well! Many thanks for your work!
I just ran across your video and I can't tell you how much I enjoyed it. I've watched that movie numerous times and I never get tired of it. It was so fun to hear you refer back to the dialogue of the movie and superimpose the film and pictures over the scene. It really brought a lot of wonderful memories of the film. I'd love to see all those locations myself someday and now I know where they are. I remember how Mr. Collins went on and on about how grand Rosings Park was... well it is of course, but then you see Pemberley and how it pales in comparison. The look on Miss Bennett's face was priceless. This version of the story was always my favorite. Thank you so much for such a informative and fun video. Well done! 🥰
Thank you for your kind words. Hopefully the video will have brought the locations to life a little so that if you do get to visit any of them you’ll feel more familiar with them 👍

@@TudorSmith Lol - I've never kissed a co-star but I've always wondered....:)
🤣
I happened upon this video and have to say it was such a lovely surprise. Thank you so very much for showing this American fan where it was filmed. I loved it!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it and thanks for leaving a comment.
Same. 😊. American here - loved seeing the locations and the scenes as they took place. These are fun videos. Thumbs up ❤
I rewatch it once a year. Best P and P adaptation by far.
It takes a lot of beating 👍
Found this video by chance. The ONLY version of P and P that I, personally, really love. Great to see all the places depicted in the series. Thanks for all your hard work
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is lovely to visit those same locations ❤ thank you ❤
I'm a big fan of P&P 95 like yourself and have been fortunate enough to stay in Lizzies room as the owner calls it at the rectory at Teigh.
Hair dressing? 🤣✂️ I’ll stick to Data Analysis 👍 oh and the occasional UA-cam video.
I have been searching for a thorough video of P&P filming locations like this one. Happily came across it, finally. Thanks so much.
Thank you. I’d watch other people’s videos but felt I needed to visit the locations myself. I really enjoyed making this video 👍
This was great showing the locations for pride and prejudice
I love how you quote the dialogue all the way through. Very entertaining for a fan of P&P. Absolutely my favorite adaptation of it, too. Iconic. Got a chuckle out of the Lady Catherine quotes early on (prettiest sort of wilderness, obstinate headstrong girl) and the Mr. Collins one later (modest equipage).
After so many times of watching the series the dialogue starts to get ingrained in my mind. Happy thought indeed 🤣
Thank you for taking us on this very interesting tour of the buildings and scenes, so engraved in our memories, of such a beloved and character rich love-story.
I’m glad you enjoyed the “tour”. Thanks for coming along 🙏
What a fantastic job!! I’m sorry my English is not good enough to praise you like you deserve. Hugs from Southern Brazil.
Thank you! 😊
Your English is excellent.
Thank you so very much.. 1995 Pride and Prejudice ..the book comes alive…my favorite rendition. Just Beautifully done. Thank you for taking us with you to these wonderful sights not movie sets but actual locations. I too own the BBC 95’ box set watch it at least once a year.
My favourite too! Thank you for tagging along 👍
The show definitely gets under one’s skin right. I’m not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing. The BBC’s 1995 adaptation remains my favourite.
Loved this video. My daughter and I just finished watching the series…again!
She asked me was it too soon, I said no, you see something different every time you watch!
Thanks for watching and commenting. 👍
You can rewatch the series and always find little nuggets you might have missed before ❤️
Splendid tour!!! Just as the '95 series has shone through three decades, your video is now 2 years old and lots of us still enjoying it. What a treat! Thank you!
Thanks very much. Yes, people are still discovering my video I'm pleased to say 👍
It was a great experience visiting the locations.
Stumbled across your video, this has to be the most delightful 'fling locations' video I've ever seen. Your obvious love for the story makes this an absolute delight to watch. Thank you.
Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Aw thanks for the encouragement 🙂
The thumb close-up in slow-mo made me howl! Thank you for the walk and the memories. Your dedication and hard work are appreciated. I had such a lovely time...
Glad you enjoyed it! I had to slow that footage down because it's so fleeting!
Thanks for tagging along on the tour 👍
Happy thought indeed 🤣
Thanks for your lovely comment and for watching 🙏
Thoroughly enjoyed this video.
Fans of the 1995 production never tire of it.
I could watch it once a month 😂
Welcome back anytime 🤣
It's lovely to see these filming sites for this wonderful production. I really love the 1995 film. It is by far the best! IMO!
Thanks so much ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it
Любимый роман, любимый сериал, любимые герои. Хотелось бы совершить такую же восхитительную прогулку по местам съемок фильма.
If you ever get the chance, you’d really love it ❤️
Thank you so much for doing this walkabout! I’ll never have a chance to go to England and see all these sites. So thank you for the tour! Your fellow “P and P” fan!
Thanks so much for watching 🙏
Stumble upon this and how wonderful it is that you sir put all these remarkable places together, a gem for all the fans of 1995 P&P fans! Took a trip to the south of England many years ago, and it remains one of my fondest memories. Gotta put some of these places on the itinerary, and book a night in Mr Colins' home if there is a chance to revisit England. Thank you again!
Thank you! I hope you can make it back someday and stay in Mr Collins’ house! You might even find shelves in the closet. Happy thought indeed 🙂
Thank you so much! Loved seeing all these magical sites & you setting them up so well. Almost as good as being there 👍🏻 think i’m off to watch pride & prejudice again right now 😃
Now that I’ve shown you some of the locations, rewatching P&P may become a little true to life!
Thanks for your comment 🙏
What a wonderful comment. Thank you for sharing your experiences from that tour. Most definitely a rememberable experience. It must have been amazing.
Thanks for showing us the locations. I have been watching this drama since 2004. I am inclined to watch all the episodes all the time. My all time favourite P&P 1995.
You’re welcome. I too watch the show quite frequently - it’s one of my favourites 👍
I've only just discovered your channel and I have I am utterly delighted at this wonderful content! I love your enthusiasm for the book and the 1995 series and I have to say this looks very professional in terms of editing and presentation as well. I hope to see more of this lovely content in the future! ❤
This video was a delight! I adore this version of P&P and your devotion to it is obvious. Off to watch the other 2 videos in the series.
Happy watching the next few episodes 👍
Просто чудесная прогулка по знакомим местам, любимого фильма! Огромное спасибо за удовольствие, Вы очень милый!!!
Thank you for taking the time to watch.
How fortunate you are to be able to visit the sites.
Thank you for doing this, i enjoyed it. Watching P&P 1995 version for the first time in 2015 i was blown away. Probably watched it 100 times since then 🙂
It’s such a wonderful adaptation isn’t it - always has me rewatching too!
@@TudorSmith Absolutely, it's perfect in every sense, the cast, the music, the nature, the buildings etc. I would like to visit some of the film locations, greetings from Sweden.
Hej på dig i Sverige 😊
@@TudorSmith Hej Tudor, ser fram emot fler intressanta videor☺
Loved this full spectrum account of the locations used in the 1995 version of Pride and Prejudice. What I admire most about that production is that the fullness of the storytelling requires the time and attention to detail and the crew did their job from a to z. Mr. Darcy's "thumb" was a surprise to me, but I loved the closeup and agree with your assessment...😊
One of the observations I’ve picked up after many viewings of the series. There are many also of Darcy smiling, albeit subtly 🙂
Thanks for watching and dropping your lovey comment. I’ve yet to visit Belton when the house is actually open 🤣 maybe one day.
LOVELY TOUR ♥️.. Thank you. I’d love to go to Lyme Park gift shop. My wife has watched it at least 150 plus times. Often on in the house 😉😉. Dialogue is fun.
It’s a very cool place to visit - even if you’re only familiar with the dialogue 🤣
@@TudorSmith Hoping to come next year if the “World” hasn’t gone nuts again like WW11. Painfully aware of history. 🙏🇺🇸🇮🇱 🇬🇧 🏴
I just happened upon your video (finally?). What a fine piece of work you have done. I especially appreciated the superimpositions at the various locations. I've forwarded it to several of my fellow Pride & Prejudice devotees. Bravo!
Aw thanks for sharing. Glad you found the video 🙏
Wow! So informative and I could listen to you about P&P all day long! Thank you very much for featuring this. Nicely done!
Thank you very much. Glad you enjoyed it - and my ramblings 🤣
I was in secondary school and had to read the book. My mum and gf were obsessed with thr series, and being from Derby, I've visited all of the Peak District locations
Definitely a beautiful part of the country ❤️
Thank you for your marvelous tour of Pride and Prejudice locations. Like many Jane Austen fans, I consider the ‘95 BBC version to be definitive. How wonderful to see those beloved locations and hear the lines so dear to my heart! I have subscribed, and guess what - I am somewhat of a Beatles fan as well! Many thanks for your work!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for your kind comment. Hopefully you'll find my other content a little interesting 🙏
Hopefully the video will have brought the locations to life a little so that if you do get to visit any of them you’ll feel more familiar with them 👍
thank you! i appreciate how you superimpose the scene along with the location you are in. it makes me appreciate the bbc production all the more! ❤
I was enchanted by the 1995 production from it’s release. I love everything about it and I enjoyed your tour of the locations, thank you. I have watched it many times and you have inspired me to do so, again.♥️👏🏻♥️
It’s always worth rewatching. And now that you’ve seen my locations video it might bring the series more to life 👍
@@TudorSmith I’ve watched two episodes already and I’m noticing the things you’ve highlighted. I’m very impressed with how the Meriton (not sure of the spelling) streets were dressed. It looked so real and to realise how they are today, is quite clever. 👏🏻
Indeed. It really shows how the production team went to such ends to make everything look so perfect!
Thank you for this!!! My favorite version. I just love this film. ❤❤❤
Came out the year my first daughter was born. I bought the vhs. Now I have dvds and watch those occasionally.
This production was perfectly cast.
What an awesome video, thanks so much! Ironically, we were on holiday in England at the same time that this was being filmed. We didn’t know so at the time, but figured it out several years later. This version stands above all others, imho. Gotta go read the book again now. 😁
Where you visiting the locations or just vacationing in the UK?
Thank you so much for this video. Your love of the '95 series is evident throughout and what you have included is a dream for any fan who can't actually get to those locations themselves.

Thanks so much!! This production of Pride and Prejudice is the best of them all by such a long shot!!!
I agree!
What a fascinating video and so well presented! I was a huge fan of the 1995 version; the most perfect cast, costuming, locations, direction, acting and exquisite soundtrack none of which has ever been rivalled. I believe it was shown on a Sunday evening and I'll always remember Terry Wogan's review on the breakfast show the next morning especially the wet shirt scene!! Thank you, so enjoyable! 😊
Thank you so much. The show does seem to hold a special place in people’s hearts

Congratulations! Exceptional reporting. How much I would like the actors to reunite and make another film....after 20 years.
That would be something. It was interesting to see Colin and Jennifer together again in The King’s Speech!
You mean 30 years or nearly. It came out in 1995. It is 2023. Kiera Knightly version is 20 years old now.
Excellent video! So well done and planned out. Appreciated how you included the matching music to the scene, the script/book references and overlay of scene images. Not the “modest equipage”…LOL, good one! Loved all your witty references. Subscribed and Liked!

I've only just discovered you and am delighted. Thank you SO much, a wonderful tour with a fabulous host. I too am one of those who notices things like that little movement of the thumb. I'm hooked.
Thank you so much! Yeah those little fleeting moments in a production add so much depth. I have always wondered if Andrew Davies wrote it as direction in the script as a kind of way of letting Elizabeth know that Darcy was still ardently admiring and loving her!
I love this drama.💖
It has become a tourist destination!
Thank you for uploading the shooting location on UA-cam.
It has indeed!
It has been a delight to see these additional information on sight s selections!😊😊😊

I bet it didn't even have a name before 1995! National Trust quite rightly cashing in on tourism. I don't miind though, as the sign helped me find it 😉
Well done! Someday I hope to trod these paths as well. Always great to find men who appreciate these things. To even find the room in which Wickham practiced his dissolute habits! Oh my poor nerves! Hill! Hill! Oh where is Hillllll.... 😉
