I have a cc9 and love it. My only complaint (which is my same complaint with the p2000 and p30) is the high bore axis. This thing shoots so well it's hardly noticeable, however....but if forced to find one thing to complain about that would be it. That being said this is by far my favorite subcompact and my new carry gun
When I first got the CC nine I almost sold it. It fell snappier than the P3 65 and I didn’t love its accuracy. I went back and shot another couple hundred rounds and actually really love it now. Very high-quality and no failures. I can’t wait until they release higher cap capacity magazines as well.
@ I wouldn’t say I was imagining anything, but sometimes when you’re used to certain handguns and try another handgun with a different grip angle and stuff like that, it makes a little difference. I am surprised they haven't addressed this. The 365 mag release is another culprit that rusts easily. The mags are even worse though. I took out a handful of guns in the morning and had them in a large case. I had to wait until that night to take everything out and clean. Every other magazine was fine, the Sig 365 mags were already showing signs of rust...

When buying online you don't know which ones you will get, but I tracked mine down locally, you can tell the difference by the finish and "made in Italy" engraving.

One or two other videos I’ve seen have said that the H&K has more recoil than the 365. May be subjective. I have a 365 and thus far only have five shots, G43/43X to compare it to. Have fired an early Hellcat too and can’t say I noted much difference in recoil. I’d like to see one, and even better rent one and shoot before I buy. My local shop said they’d had one come in and sold it pretty fast. The size of the 365 is somewhat detrimental when trying to run it like a full size pistol. I just realized my back strap when I changed it to the larger backstrap isn’t totally flush on the upper part. It’s got a little ledge that I can feel when I run my fingers down the side of the gun on one side of the firearm. I replaced and put the small one back on, but still feel a slight ledge and it’s not totally smooth like it should be on other hand Guns. Can you check yours and see if you’re having the issue or change your backstrap and see if yours is fine?Just asking because somebody else mentioned it on Reddit and made me pay attention. That’s when I realized it.
Sig with the 365 has sold a lot of guns. Unfortunately a lot of them were screwed up. I ain’t into the 365 of the week. The cc9 is going to be reliable.
Own both. Only EDC HK. Far superior with 2500 rounds no issues. Less snap and with a 507 dot darn near perfect. Now need the HK in about 19 Glock space
The VP9SK is essentially in that space. Nearly same size, and has 12/15/17 round magazines. Shoots FAR better. Fit and feel is also far superior to the Glock.
Don't get me wrong though, the FN Reflex is a fantastic weapon. Anything you train with repetitively will be deadly. That's why it's part of my carry rotation because I like it.
I have a P365 .380. Looking to get a 9mm, was looking at the 365xl and the P365 because it’s basically the same size as the .380. I like the recoil of the .380
Go with one of the compensated 365 9mms you wont regret it. It offers a bit more punch without the dramatic change in follow up shots and you get a bit of a more dedicated longer grip. Having two is a plus!
I own several P365 models and I must say the .380 has become my overall favorite to carry and you are spot on with the recoil, it’s very smooth indeed. The 9mm version in the same size can be a little bit more snappier so if you get a compensated version I’d preferably get the X macro which is slightly bigger.
I have a love/hate relationship with my P365. Slide, sights and magazines are rust prone, front tritium blows out every 2,000 rounds, and mine threw a dead trigger at 5,000 rounds. I ordered a 43x the day the P365 trigger broke. That said, the P365 shoots better for me than my USP9. Don't ask me why! I forget I am wearing it and it doesn't print. I will end up going with the 43x in jacket weather, which is most of the year where I live. The extra grip and barrel length will hopefully make it a better fast draw and range gun for fun. The P365 will become my warm weather gun, seeing significantly less round count than I was blowing through. I am a big fan of H&K but the CC9 sits between the 43x and the P365 with a 10 round mag. If I had to buy just one CCW it would be the CC9, but since I already have the smaller gun I don't need it. What I need is a bigger, proven gun and that's the 43x. I imagine the CC9 will be very reliable but time will tell. I refuse to buy the first model year of anything. H&K clearly studied the S&W and the Sig and decided to take those lessons learned, which is a great thing, but they waited too long and the market is now saturated. I doubt they will have the same success as the other manufacturers that have been seriously commited to subcompacts for much longer. Plus, H&K prices are never very competitive and they don't go down. The P365 prices have dropped quite a bit.
Kygunco has the CC9 for $556.00. They are out of stock and said they will have their next batch in before Christmas. Call and reserve one of them for yourself today. Grabagun has 12 rd mags for $34.95a as well as the two 10rd variants for the same price.
own both and each one has pros and cons, I will say the hk ( my first hk) seems more substantial in build just feels diff, not better just diff, plus if you see closeup views l the edges have been rounded for ease of concealment I have a hogue grip on p365 so I have the similar finger groove , I carry 10 bc of state compliance and use the pinky ext on all my 365 mags and my hands smaller than most get three finger purchase, I have optic mrs eps carry on both and hk has about 500 down range and not one misfire , \ , the trigger on hk is far superior then standard curved of the p365 , contemplating swapping out wiht tyrant with safety blade or to match my Wilson tuned p365 may add straight greyguns trigger , the hk has safety and crisp break and short reset also has larger trigger guard for those hat have larger fingers to aquire trigger better . one downside of hk is obviously accessories and holsters being avail ( dont have holster so haven't carried daily but have brought to range .. if you can find one and hold and touch side by side give it thought , if was going wiht just one prob p365 just because of modularity , accessories etc.. sorry if I hijacked review but given some real world non pro opinion
I have a p365 x macro that I would say I trust 90-95% I carry it daily. With that said. I got the cc9 coming in and no matter what firearm from sig and hk I will take hk for confidence and reliability all day over sig. this isn’t saying I hate sig. just hk didn’t have a micro at the time and I still think the p365 is great. Just reliability and confidence I will lean towards hk
I have an original base model p365. I don't find it that snappy, especially compared to some of my other guns. I never thought inserting full magazines with a closed slide was a problem either.🤷🏽 A ambi slide release is the only thing it's missing for me and that's really not even an issue. Long ago I learned and adapted to shooting right handed firearms. That way I can pick up anyone else's and not be thrown off by feeling for lefty controls. My 365 works great for me and I have XXlg hands with very long wrap around fingers. The HK sounds great, but I don't feel any if those issues with the 365.
I have a x macro and a hellcat and I'm getting the cc9 this week I love HK My USP 45 is the most accurate and dependable I wish the cc9 had paddle mag release
Adding the Icarus Grip module to the P365X would probably make it tank the CC9 In comparisons. But, the stock configuration is only okay. I didn’t like the P365 until I tried the X model with Wilson Combat and Icarus grips, now I love it.
It looks like a complete micro 9. I like the P365 but HK looks like they moved the chess pieces with this one. The P365 in .380 if you moved down a weight is still the King tho

My biggest problem with the CC9 is I STILL can't find one anywhere. I've been on waiting lists at every gun store in my area since mid October when this thing dropped and their responses have gone from "we'll call you as soon as we get one" To "oh we don't really carry any HK stuff, so unless we get one second hand we might not ever get it, but we might be able to special order it for you, but we don't even have any distributors that have any" I carry my VP9 religiously but I need something smaller because I hate toting this big bitch around all the time. And the CC9 came out right when I decided I needed a micro 9mm... and I was looking at a p365macro when the cc9 got revealed, and I made up my mind the HK is the only one I want. Now I'm just stuck. Where the fuck is everyone getting these things from? You gotta know someone at HK personally or something?
Is it just me or is the audio and video on this video out of sync? Anyways, if I had to choose between the p365 and he cc9, I would definitely go with the Springfield Hellcat 😜
Holsters, weapon mounted lighting, etc. HK is like Rolls Royce, limited aftermarket options. Sig is like Cadillac, abundant aftermarket options. Glock is like Toyota, infinite aftermarket customization 🧐
This shit should be illegal, imagine how much farther firearm design might be if there were actually revolutionary designers out there and not a bunch of diplomas just copying each other.
Im glad because I'm not a fan of SIG, i think the only good handgun of SIG is the P226 and I still think they don't deserved the US military contract for the P320
HK has sent out very few units in their initial run, apparently FFLs are only being allocated 2 pistols in the initial shipment. Might be end of the year before we can actually find them in store.
Late to the game as usual in an already saturated market. It does nothing better aside from roll-mark. You need to compare the 365X not the regular P365 (i.e. 10 rounder), since the X is a factory 12 rounder and it's much smoother to rack. To each their own. Chassis system to Lego into whatever frame size feels your needs. Too hard to rack? Lock the slide back first. Training issues.
I have zero issues with racking my 365 or the fit of any of my mags, including my 12-round magazine. I find that odd with yours, especially since you said you have so many rounds through yours. Good comparison 👍
There is no comparison. The P365 is trash. The CC9 is what a micro compact should be. It’s what the P365 dreams of being. HK: In a world of compromise, some don’t. Sig sux.
The Sig P365 is basically the AR15 of the handgun world. You can change just about everything from the barrel, the slide, and even the grip. So you can configure it Exactly how you want it.
Exactly. Unlike a lot of other gun manufactures, H&K actually takes the time to perfect their weapons, rather than working them out while they’re on the market.
CC9 is too late for me. I have several 365 FCU's that are all sitting in X-Macro varaiants - Comps and TacOps. H&K has a good rep but very little market penetration in the US. I have several other pistols - Walther and FN - and just dont see the need. The CC9 is probably great for someone just starting their journey.
I'll take the one that doesnt look like a Taurus. While I didnt pick my wife because of her hot ass, it didnt hurt. The CC9 is the girl with a GREAT PERSONALITY AND RELIABLE! LOL, HK USA working overtime to contain this!
Oh gee another “unpaid” video on hk cc9. Add it to the 1 thousand other videos hk didnt pay youtubers to create. LOL. what a joke. Hk has always given civilian shooters the middle finger and now they want us to scrap our p365 for their new pocket pistol making us think its the best thing since sliced bread. Sorry hk. You are late to the game and didnt think we deserved this gun 10 years ago. Sell it to spec ops. Hk went cheap with black rear sight. You wont get my $700.
The MSRP is $700 that's not what you're going to pay unless wherever you're buying from is being scumbags and jacking up the price. Not to mention it's brand new so once production is able to get more out those shops that are being tools will have to drop prices once more quantities of the CC9 are out there. Right now premium dealers are getting them first but not many. Give it time like any new firearms that just releases.
The CC9 is basically perfect. Everyone bitches that they are “late to the game” but what they really did is take their time and do it right.

Can you check yours and see if you’re having the issue or change your backstrap and see if yours is fine?Just asking because somebody else mentioned it on Reddit and made me pay attention. That’s when I realized it.
Mines flush, It's a little bit tricky to get back on flush but it will go.
@ I ended up figuring it out. It was the top part and I just had to pinch it while I slid it in.
They are both great options, but having both - HK wins in almost every category over a stock 365.
Sig with the 365 has sold a lot of guns. Unfortunately a lot of them were screwed up. I ain’t into the 365 of the week. The cc9 is going to be reliable.
What company is your Jacket??
Great review!!!
KUHL, and thank you!
Your recoil control is impressive. Most people let the gun nearly jump out of their hands.
Thanks
Hey I was looking at Sig but probably go with HK
Why ease of slide, better magazine and reload , recoil and of course HK quality
What are your thoughts on it compared to the FN Reflex?
In my personal opinion I think it's better than the Reflex. Ergonomics, grip everything about it is just more thought out and better designed.
@@9MilRidge about figures, i just ordered the FN Reflex a couple of days ago lol...
I bought my HK CC9 at my LGS for $539
@chrisragone8785 that is a fantastic price for an HK. Thanks for letting me know.
own both and each one has pros and cons, I will say the hk ( my first hk) seems more substantial in build just feels diff, not better just diff, plus if you see closeup views l the edges have been rounded for ease of concealment I have a hogue grip on p365 so I have the similar finger groove , I carry 10 bc of state compliance and use the pinky ext on all my 365 mags and my hands smaller than most get three finger purchase, I have optic mrs eps carry on both and hk has about 500 down range and not one misfire , \ , the trigger on hk is far superior then standard curved of the p365 , contemplating swapping out wiht tyrant with safety blade or to match my Wilson tuned p365 may add straight greyguns trigger , the hk has safety and crisp break and short reset also has larger trigger guard for those hat have larger fingers to aquire trigger better . one downside of hk is obviously accessories and holsters being avail ( dont have holster so haven't carried daily but have brought to range .. if you can find one and hold and touch side by side give it thought , if was going wiht just one prob p365 just because of modularity , accessories etc.. sorry if I hijacked review but given some real world non pro opinion
10+ one you must be from Ma. If so, I feel your pain.🤣
Thanks for this comparison. 👍
Like the jacket, what brand?
Thanks, it's KUHL brand.
lol 2 minutes in and you knew which gun was gonna come out on top.
I have an original base model p365. I don't find it that snappy, especially compared to some of my other guns. I never thought inserting full magazines with a closed slide was a problem either.🤷🏽
A ambi slide release is the only thing it's missing for me and that's really not even an issue.
Nice video.
Adding the Icarus Grip module to the P365X would probably make it tank the CC9 In comparisons. But, the stock configuration is only okay. I didn’t like the P365 until I tried the X model with Wilson Combat and Icarus grips, now I love it.
Solid point.
😮easy to rack is really important to me.
Exactly, it's important for many people.
How does the fcu come out?
One single pin in the front after disassembled.
It looks like a complete micro 9. I like the P365 but HK looks like they moved the chess pieces with this one. The P365 in .380 if you moved down a weight is still the King tho
Since its striker fired cc gun is there an option for a thumb safety?
Not that I know of yet.
@@9MilRidgethey better put one on and a loaded chamber indicator and magazine-trigger disconnect so that it can be approved on the California roaster (thanks Kamala for restricting our rights here/sarcasm to a 2A tyrant). The Sig P365 and various variants just got approved here in 2024 and are flying off the shelves. I picked up the X-macro to put on my 3 gun limited CCW that California issues to us inmates. I would have preferred the HK if it was available in this communist state !!!
I voted Trump and Republican across the board. Many Californians that want their Second Amendment rights fully restored !!!!
HK has it all over Sig and their quality issues.
So the H&K is better but it costs more $$?
They are about the same price.
@ thanks, first pistol since a Glock 19 over 30 years ago
I don't like the way the trigger looks . Otherwise it's nice
Sig for me. It just conceals for me, im a big guy in southern states
If you were in northern states tho… it’d be totally different
@DeathbyLibra yeah in the south you dress for hot weather 8 months out of the year . The other 4 months I can carry whatever I want because I can wear big flannel shirts or jackets I'm 300 pounds so the p365 works great for me to conceal, I like it so much I carry it year round and even got an extra 365
I am currently waiting for my local dealers to get the CC9
KYGUNCO is selling them for $556.00 with free shipping.
They will have their next batch in before Christmas. Call them and reserve 1 for yourself.
Grabagun has spare mags, all 3 variants 10 and 12 rd mags for $34.95.
I don't care for it, after shooting the HK and a Walther PPS M2 , the Walther just feels like a better gun IMO
Fire Control Unit in the P365.
Its an abomination to compare a Sig to an H&K, but I understand the intent.
My biggest problem with the CC9 is I STILL can't find one anywhere. I've been on waiting lists at every gun store in my area since mid October when this thing dropped and their responses have gone from "we'll call you as soon as we get one"
To "oh we don't really carry any HK stuff, so unless we get one second hand we might not ever get it, but we might be able to special order it for you, but we don't even have any distributors that have any"
I carry my VP9 religiously but I need something smaller because I hate toting this big bitch around all the time.
Bodyguard 2.0 so good and use honey badger 380 ammo. 12 rounds!
Damn near the same gun except that the CC9 isn’t a rust bucket.
Have enjoyed my Sig 365 for year here in humid Florida with NO rust at all
So much aftermarket support for the 365 already... I'm sticking with the Sig
You don't need anything aftermarket with the HK.. It comes from the factory perfect
@ doubt it
@@mcmehlen That just told me you are new to firearms and have a lot to learn.
Holsters, weapon mounted lighting, etc. HK is like Rolls Royce, limited aftermarket options. Sig is like Cadillac, abundant aftermarket options. Glock is like Toyota, infinite aftermarket customization 🧐
@@whatsup24_7 you must also believe in Glock perfection
This shit should be illegal, imagine how much farther firearm design might be if there were actually revolutionary designers out there and not a bunch of diplomas just copying each other.
I'll take any HK over any Sig any day of the week.
Im glad because I'm not a fan of SIG, i think the only good handgun of SIG is the P226 and I still think they don't deserved the US military contract for the P320
I have found 0 stores that sell this sidearm. When I search for this in all mainstream stores, nothing comes up.
It's been a hot seller so far, very hard to find.
Omaha outdoors, sold out currently. Get on the waiting list. They also have crazy cerakoye options.
Cerakote
I live in Texas and I had to order one from Cabela's in Wisconsin.
HK has sent out very few units in their initial run, apparently FFLs are only being allocated 2 pistols in the initial shipment. Might be end of the year before we can actually find them in store.
P365 felt really snappy until I added hogue grip.
The Hogue grips definitely help a lot.
Load the mag under an open slide
So it "is" possible to make an ambi gun this small. If I didnt have so much invested in my 365 already id pick HK no question.
I’m definitely taking the Sig!
You won't have to worry about the HK rusting
💣💫💥💥
Its not a fiber optic front smh
Masada Slim for the win
I don't know, my X and XMacro aren't like that. Thank you!
There is no comparison. The P365 is trash. The CC9 is what a micro compact should be. It’s what the P365 dreams of being. HK: In a world of compromise, some don’t. Sig sux.
FCU Fire control unit
That's what I was looking for!
Compare to the Glock 43x
The Sig P365 is basically the AR15 of the handgun world. You can change just about everything from the barrel, the slide, and even the grip. So you can configure it Exactly how you want it.
"Hk CC9 been in production for 6 yr?" 6:09
right.. uh what?
Im sure he meant "in development"
Yeah, that's what I meant development . My bad😬
The CC9 is probably great for someone just starting their journey.
journey? they're all around 5 or 6 hundred. Not a big stretch to have different brand, even with add-ons.
@PatriotSteve Journey as in first gun purchase, new to firearms - just starting out and wanting a reliable weapon.
The original P7 was better than both of them.
I'll keep my Glocks thanks .
Those are nice too
I'll take the one that doesnt look like a Taurus. While I didnt pick my wife because of her hot ass, it didnt hurt. The CC9 is the girl with a GREAT PERSONALITY AND RELIABLE! LOL, HK USA working overtime to contain this!
I'll keep my Hellcat. No thanks on the CC9.
The Hellcat is great too!
All of my videos are unsponsored.
Deuces!
I'll just stick with my FN REFLEX, great handgun.
After shooting all three I'll carry my Hellcat. I didn't notice much difference besides comfort between all 3
