Comparing it to the GC3 is a compliment i love that smooth edge thick "looking" gun. I think ppl wanted a sharp edged micro 9 from HK basically a mini VP9
No glock wins on shootability for me. In the past I have owned them, but never could shoot them as well as HK or sig pistols or 1911s. I do appreciate the variety of comparisons in this video.
People are complaining about the wrong things. This handgun looks awesome. Similar footprint to the "industry standard" CCWs like the Glock 43X and the Sig Sauer P365. The ergonomics, from what I've heard, are phenomenal and despite the alleged snappiness of the handgun, it's an extremely shootable handgun with the quality and reliability that comes with HK. I'll for sure be picking one of these up!
Looks like it, but it shoots completely different. I got to rent one out at Texas Gun Experience on Saturday and it shoots closer to an XMacro (even with the shorter slide, barrel, and grip) than it does a Taurus G3C if that makes any sense.
My first gun is a G3 and my second is a G2c. I don't own any other handguns at the moment so I don't know how well they hold up in comparison to most other ccw options but they don't seem to have any issues that I've noticed. I've run the G3 with a variety of ammo brands and it eats whatever I put in it

They are way late to the micro game. Now everyone is making larger skinny guns, and comps: 365 Macro, Hellcat Pro comp, Shield plus carry comp, etc.. It doesn't do anything my original Hellcat or Shield plus don't, except it's an HK, so I'll buy it! Hahaha
Swapable backstraps. Doesn't sound like much but on tiny guns it can be a big deal. Also the P365 is the only comparable micro 9 as they're both chassis guns. The others aren't.
I'd like to see more of the CC9 if you don't mind. As a lefty there's really not a ton of options out there and the dimensions seem like it's exactly what I'm looking for compared to everything else.
I just bought a P365, and I'm REALLY thinking about returning it for the CC9. I'm already seeing those wear signs on the P365 mags that are supposed to happen prior to the spring breaking. It should be noted that I see those wear marks already, and I haven't even fired it yet. 🙄
I like that hk made this so slim because the p30sk and vp9sk were thiccc! The fact it’s not the shortest grip in the category means you can actually hold onto the thing too. I can’t wait to get one and try it out. Would like a pocket pistol video from you. The smallest gun I’ve kept and like is a S&W J frame 38 spcl. It’s so hard to make a semi auto as small as a revolver, I feel like the revolver just wins out in overall firepower.
43x and those gen3 mags have become so good. I had the Gen 1 15rds and they were trash. 2nd Gen’s later with no problems. I am not looking back. 15rds in the 43x is hard to match. Anything less than 15 in this size is now pure copium.
Bro.. I went to my local range and found a m&p shield plus .40. I just shot it today.. OMG.. That is going to be carried a lot now! My hellcat pro comp was harder to shoot than my .40.. I got a hogue grip for my hellcat pro and now it's fine, but dam dude I picked up that .40 for 135.00! Best buy yet! You were 100% right about that 40!
@hthompson2237 dude... when I seen that price tag I was like wait, WTF?! Someone wrapped talon grips around it and they were old, falling apart. That made it look like crap, I took off the grips & cleaned all of that glue off. It looked better than my m&p 9 shield plus! And it came with 2) 7rbd mags, 1) 6rnd mag. Best deal I've ever found. Shoots amazingly! I only shot 50 rnds through it but I was dead nuts on target!

If one wants to run +p reliably, no worries, the HK is there. Could be a good micro9 backup woods piece with some hot 9. Or if ya just want more punch for winterized two legged.
Ruger Max 9 comes with two 10 round mags but with baseplate that comes with it makes it 12. It looks to be the same size all the way around when the 12 rd mag is in.
I wonder if we're going to end up getting a magguts setup for the CC9, because the 10rd magazines look like they're larger than they need to be. I know the slightly extended mag holds 12... but I think the 10rd flush fit mag could fit 11 or 12 without the extension.
A good comparison would be to compare racking force, recoil, and second or third shot accuracy. Those could make a more realistic difference for each person than just a tiny size difference.
I’ve run my sheild arms mags in uspsa and they’ve been reliable during competition, so I guess I’m lucky currently and will continue to trust them. But unfortunately not everyone has had that experience.
I own a m&p 40 compact, and to your point now you're interested in a 40 micro, My guess is you may as well go by a Derringer. Amicro 40 would be punishment
Owning a Glock 26 and a Shield Plus makes me just not really interested in a lot of these new fangled carry guns. Those two kind of do it all. Also the Shield 2.0 in 40 is great. For concealed carry you don’t really need much more.
Just a note: You said the P10 was a C (it was an S). I have to say, if the HK is snappier than the 365, I'll be keeping my P10S...probably the softest shooting sub compact out there (in my experience). Enjoy your videos!!
So, the issue of quality comes up on the Sig, but the Ruger that follows gets a pass. I own two HKs and the P365. IMHO the Sig is at least the same high quality as HK.

I have been wanting to sell it for years but I cannot sell a gun that I know will not function at all with any type of 9 mm ammo. It just takes up space but I don't believe in throwing guns in the trash. Every time I hear, see or think about DB9s I instantly feel angry over mine.
After my terrible experience with the first bodyguard, I won't touch a SW micro anything. Anyone willing to put their name on that garbage doesn't deserve my dollar.

Pocket pistol is truly a game changer like you said. My buddy laughs at me for carrying my lcp max all the time. I always respond with yeah but I have a gun on me you have one in your backpack or in your truck. It’s the easiest thing to carry I hate shooting it lol I’m decent with it it’s not the worse shooting pocket gun but it’s not really fun to shoot but man I literally have that thing on me all day every day, fall time now normally we’re I start carrying my 9mm more clothing hides better but just moving the ruger to apex and throwing the 12 round mag in it still. You forget you even have it on you when it’s in the belt. I hear you say you will only run the 43x with factory mags and I totally get the logic. Have you tried the gen3 shield mags I have a bunch of them and have never had a stoppage with them. And that’s not 1 mag that’s 5 of them. They run perfectly I trust them. I ask cause I know the older gen’s had some issues. And a 43x with 15 rounds is a perfect carry gun. Size to firepower ratio it’s the best that’s a pistol I can shoot all day and have fun doing it.

I really like the CSX too. I think people were immensely unfair to them when they first came out. I really hope S&W fixes some of the "problems" and comes out with a new release that sells good. It's a good gun and it just seems so unfair that it got such a bad name. It's also a good option for the SAO crowd... but many of them will never even bother trying it, because they heard so many bad things about it online.
Question. My buddy been asking if I've had issues with my fn reflex like others on the internet with failure to feed and extractions. I haven't, now have you? Great video
Both reflexes ive owned and still have one of them haven’t had any feed or extraction issues. The one i currently have ive had a few times where i went to pull the trigger there would be nothing as if the hammer didn’t lock back. Im guessing it may be hammer follow do to a weak sear spring.
Size to capacity it’s actually really nice and has some nice upgrades. I had two different versions and one of them had a lot of issues and the other one was flawless. I think reliability is a little spotty, but that’s just my opinion.
without the paddles its just another micro compact. they are all pretty darn good. I have all of them! I prefer the FN Reflex (new one with manual safety) but wish they would have named it something better. Overall, it is small, internal hammer fired, accurate, comfortable, has great sights and decent trigger. For the price It is the clear winner. If HK had brought the overseas SFP9CC with paddles I would have remained a true HK guy. But waiting all these years for this POS Im done with them.
The Hk CC9 looks nothing like the sfp9cc which is what was promised. No paddle mag release, no cocking ears, tacky font on the “cc9”, not enough grip texture where the thumb is placed, not hammer fired, (if was a striker) doesnt have the cocked striker window.. they were smelling their own farts for 8years. Vote with your wallets boys.
I took my Bodyguard 2.0 out to the range for the first time this week, & it's really nice! I've replaced my Bond Arms Bullpup 9mm with the Bodyguard to try out a different pocket carry option for a while
Listen...get yourself a p365. Ive owned a bodyguard hellcat and shield...sig just nailed it down so tight I can't even consider another micro 9 - although canik did just drop theirs....
I'm disappointed with this pistol. 8 years in production and this is what they came up with. Hopefully H&K will come out with some upgrades in newer versions
What are you disappointed in? It’s a great fun. You wanted them to release a big heavy firearm and that’s not what this is. It’s concealed carry handgun meant to directly compete with the likes of the p365. I have actually shot it a lot. It’s a great gun. How many rounds do you have through yours so far and still don’t like it?

Also A lot of other reviews are reporting this gun is super snappy like the original Hellcat. So some kind of Comp would of been nice. All the big pistol manufacturer's like Sig, Springfield and S&W have done it. No excuse from HK not to have a pistol that took 8 years to produce not to have it. Of course im very picky when it comes to my carry guns. Maybe in their gen 2 but i would never buy this to replace anything I own. Its just behind in every way
Bro lost me in so many ways . The Sig P365 is a phenomenal gun. That can carry 12 +1 it’s NOT snappy . It’s super accurate . And it’s so concealable you can wear it with tight Ts in the hot summer weather and it doesn’t print . Plus you compare the HK with a CZ P10 S you said it was the C .
Buying and HK is like buying a toyota. You know the build quality is in every gun.

I have had numerous micro compacts. Love my Kimber Mako, my EDC. Trigger great and very accurate.

The flush mag on the Kimber R7 Mako is 11 rounds, it just doesn't have a witness hole for the 11th round.

Psa has a 15 round for the 43x they seem to work well, I have several of their mags

The reason I watch is because of used firearms deals. Keep them showing us deals, allows people to buy if new guns can't be with in budget.

without the paddles its just another micro compact. they are all pretty darn good. I have all of them! I prefer the FN Reflex (new one with manual safety) but wish they would have named it something better. Overall, it is small, internal hammer fired, accurate, comfortable, has great sights and decent trigger. For the price It is the clear winner. If HK had brought the overseas SFP9CC with paddles I would have remained a true HK guy. But waiting all these years for this POS Im done with them.
Which has the bigger grip overall between CC9 and Canik MC9? I have big hands so I am curious. I know both have swappable backstraps

The Hk CC9 looks nothing like the sfp9cc which is what was promised. No paddle mag release, no cocking ears, tacky font on the “cc9”, not enough grip texture where the thumb is placed, not hammer fired, (if was a striker) doesnt have the cocked striker window.. they were smelling their own farts for 8years. Vote with your wallets boys.

I took my Bodyguard 2.0 out to the range for the first time this week, & it's really nice! I've replaced my Bond Arms Bullpup 9mm with the Bodyguard to try out a different pocket carry option for a while
Listen...get yourself a p365. Ive owned a bodyguard hellcat and shield...sig just nailed it down so tight I can't even consider another micro 9 - although canik did just drop theirs....
I'm disappointed with this pistol. 8 years in production and this is what they came up with. Hopefully H&K will come out with some upgrades in newer versions
What are you disappointed in? It’s a great fun. You wanted them to release a big heavy firearm and that’s not what this is. It’s concealed carry handgun meant to directly compete with the likes of the p365. I have actually shot it a lot. It’s a great gun. How many rounds do you have through yours so far and still don’t like it?
@@spnfirearms i would liked HK to obviously go with their paddle mag release, wings on the slide a la HK VP9 cocking serrations. Also A lot of other reviews are reporting this gun is super snappy like the original Hellcat. So some kind of Comp would of been nice. All the big pistol manufacturer's like Sig, Springfield and S&W have done it. No excuse from HK not to have a pistol that took 8 years to produce not to have it. Of course im very picky when it comes to my carry guns. Maybe in their gen 2 but i would never buy this to replace anything I own. Its just behind in every way

Bro lost me in so many ways . The Sig P365 is a phenomenal gun. That can carry 12 +1 it’s NOT snappy . It’s super accurate . And it’s so concealable you can wear it with tight Ts in the hot summer weather and it doesn’t print . Plus you compare the HK with a CZ P10 S you said it was the C .
