As a fellow Art Director who recently quit his job to pursue his own career outside of working for larger games companies I can relate to this a lot. It’s very well thought out and presented. The move from lead to AD was the hardest step for me and came with little training, more an expectancy of knowing what to do. Videos like this would have really helped me back then to make less mistakes for sure. Keep up the great work.
Hey Joseph. Thanks ever so much for the kind words. And yes my experience was the same as yours when it comes to training. You just have to try to hit the ground running as best as you can. I do hope this will help others and make their life’s a little easier. Btw I also made the same move recently and I’m loving it. ;)
@@harveynewman I most definitely did. it gave me a different way to think outside of being just an animator, and the importance of listening instead of always talking. :)
