have the same blower and its relatively new but sometimes hard to get started, not sure if this model is a lemon as i have a eb7000 and hb250 and those older models start right up.
I am currently trying to resurrect. I put a new carb on, checked compression, spark, and the plug. Every thing is good, but I couldn't get it to pop. After pulling relentlessly forever, oil started finally coming through the muffler, and it started firing now. It won't stay running long but I did notice a bit of pull back from the recoil, so I am wondering if a key is somehow sheared.
It sounds like the flywheel key is sheared or partially sheared. Also check the coil air gap with a business card. Good luck and let me know how it goes.
Thans again for a great how to video. And you have a beautiful dog

Good job on the leaf blower
Thank you.
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Can the model be used as a vaccum mulcher?
