My problem was… I got a 5 gal of VP - for all my tools - My pro blower is a REDMAX EBZ8001 BLOWER - it stopped reving up - problem was excessive oil in VP. I changed everything got new Carb/Air Filter/gas lines/gas tank filter /cleaned carbon out exhaust port/ cleaned top of piston / no broken or jammed rings/ cleaned spark arrestor / new spark plug and coil Assy - no difference - decided to change the carb back to original one and a table spoon of oil came out of the carb/air box. On video as proof I drained the VP gas and filled with TruFuel back to 100% operation - hmmm - on video I changed it back to VP and back to no revving - I contacted VP with video proof - they say they have not had any feedback like this - thanks I am out of pocket - wasted downtime and useless fuel - they said they were going to get a sample back from me - that was Dec 21 - its middle of March 22. Hmmm!!!!
I'd like this cleared up, if you would: a 'spark plug target's does not test the spark plug. It tests the ignition system up to but not including the spark plug, i.e. just if electricity is getting to the plug and if the plug is conducting electricity to earth but not if it's actually firing (and of course the remove plug and test for spark is not working under compression so that might give a false positive.) Moving on to part deux.
@@veteranssmallenginerepair5934 THANK YOU! At last, someone confirms that a "spark plug tester" is no such thing. About the assertion that testing the plug outside the engine so without pressure is only something I've read and believe.
Not much a fan of this model redmax. I love the brand and have two hb 2300 handheld blowers and eb7000 backpack blower, they are workhorses! Great blowers! this one being featured in this video is hard to start at times so not that reliable. Anyone know where i can get parts for the hb 2300?
thanx brother, just the vid I needed
Glad it helped

Sorry to hear this. I hope they get back to you and resolve the issue. Thanks for watching and commenting!

That "target" should of course be 'tester'.
True. The tester only shows if power is getting to the plug. False on the statement regarding removing the spark plug.

Good job. Did you get a new camera? I like it. Much clearer picture

Looks like a husq 125b
It's not terrible
New T shirt message!
IT'S NOT
TERRIBLE
Use a screwdriver or hand nut driver and not a drill to work on small engines.
Lo mismo q un husqvarna pero mas caro
