@@growproteas1148 actually, I bought 6 seeds on Etsy where shipped from Israel. I bought and planted them before I watched your Video. I am sure they could not grow up. So I ordered again, will be arrived next month.
I do, they grow very slow on pots, they do better in the ground for sure, but they need organic matter in the soil. In my experience they don't mind the hot weather, as long as they have shade from afternoon sun and some wind.
@@growproteas1148 thank you and how do I go about replanting them?do I use normal potting soil and root hormones or do proteas require special soil etc and with regards to cutting them should I trim them a specific length??
Your videos are very helpful! I now have the knowledge and confidence of how to take care of my protea! Thank you!
nice 😍
I have watched your posts. So far, you have been the most successful grower. just one question, can I plant king protea in pot?
Yes they grow well in pots... 5 gallon... up to 15 gallon

What soil did you use for the first plant?
Planting mix is 1 part peat moss, 1 part pumice, 1 part sand and 1 part 1/4 inch pine bark.
i wonder, have you cultivated Telopeas??
I have them in pots - for some reason they are growing very slow here... not sure if it is too hot. Do you have any?
