It's called MAINTAINENCE. Any machine requires service at regular intervals in order to last and perform. Cars and airplanes are no different take care of the machine and it will take care of you.
Absolutely! Caring for things goes a long way.
@@DraggonCanoe absolutely another big thing is these Seadoo and Yamaha jetskies , you have to use them, the motor needs to be used, you can’t let these skies sit around for 7 months, that will bring up lots of issues, if you not using them at least turn them on and run water through them at least once a week
@eugeneabreut960 yep! We are blessed to live in a place we can ride all year round.
@@eugeneabreut960 EXACTLY!! That goes for almost all machines. With a vacuum system the longer it is ran the better it works. Especially the turbos on the systems. I always hated to shut a system down simply because you knew it was going to leak somewhere it hadn't before being shut down and not knowing if the turbo would spin back up.
I once had a 70 Mustang that sat a year while I was deployed and the engine needed rebuilt after I got back because it had rusted together to the point on not turning over. Boats are especially prone to that.
@@exploringourwaterways I live in East Tennessee and people use the phrase winterize. GOD I HATE THAT TERM!!! I always correct the idiots that say it. I tell them if you don't crank the engine at least once a week then it needs to be fogged for storage, REGARDLESS of the season. You can store a boat inside but it will still rust solid and kill the engine if it isn't prepped for non-use. In Florida that is the case also, not freezing cold weather.
And you are 100% correct about your weather,, enjoy it for those of us who can't!!!!!!! Love your posts!!
As a Powersports salesman this is very helpful and useful information. Anytime anyone wants to bash a Sea Doo I’m just showing them this video
We appreciate you taking the time to drop a comment. Glad you found our video useful. We absolutely love our SeaDoo and this gave us peace of mind.
1400 hours!!! Nuts!
🙌🙌🙌
This guys great!
Julio, have you met him? He is cool as heck.
1400+ hours?!?! And it’s a 300. That’s crazy.
Yep
Wow that’s amazing! That’s Awesome ROY! Man he’s putting in the work, great tan as well. I thought I put in sometime on the water. I’m a loser for sure 🥴. Thanks for sharing Ray! I truly enjoyed the content, I could have spend hours taking to Roy.
Dude I had a blast talking to him. 24th ski!
Yeah that’s pretty wow as well. I have had several Seadoo’s with 300+ hrs. My current 2015 FZR I flipped the dash as well. Back at 8hrs now. Wish I could say it’s the original motor. But it does have several original parts. Gina’s 2016 Kawasaki 310R 720+ hrs.
Thats awesome
That's nothing...here in Croatia every second rental Yamaha have over 2000 hours on first engine.
Yep
sadly not as common on a SeaDoo
And they say rotax is crap.....
Yep
