Greetings from Australia. Thanks very much for your video. I have viewed your videos on the D5 and found them excellent. I'm now ready to buy one. It's a toss-up between the Red and the Green with the latter just having the edge. Hong dian are making some great pens now, and I have 8 of them; half with the long blade nib (architect's nib.) I recommend you look at one, perhaps the N7 blue peacock. Sorry, but I have some constructive criticism about your paper. I find it too busy, and it detracts from your writing and the pen/ink being reviewed. Love your videos, though.
Greetings my friend. Thank you for your kind words. I should try the longblade nib. I did get some Kaiglu nibs from amz. thay look very similar, and they work great on my other pens. Nonetheless, I shall try N7. I have seen many pictures of it and have it in my cart....just never pulled the trigger 😀. About the paper, I agree it looks busy. I'm trying to slowly move away [to cotton paper]. Thanks for valuable feedback! Cheers.
9:51, "It is amazingly tuned, it seems like, out of the box, that it will just write..."
No one has ever said that about an expensive Visconti.
So true!! It can only be said when it comes back from Mike's shop :)
Love this pen! I own the green/gold version with gold nib and it s a worthy pen.
Other than the nib, is there any other difference between the pens? Can the gold nib replace the steel nib of the steel pen version?
Yes the nibs are interchangeable. All the nibs also fit into Asvine V200 for a nicer looking demonstrator 😉

Nice looking!
Very impressed with my (steel nibbed) one. If only it also came with their amazing long knife nib.
Maybe they will in the future... the rabbit pen comes with that nib. 😀
Luckily that nib also comes on N9, which as a somewhat more tranditional look than the N23.
