Hey there Duffy! Those are some pretty cool finds for Eagle/Berol pencils! Pretty historical pencils and a couple of surprises too. I actually also have a Mirado big eraser pencil myself as well as a bunch of Mikado/Mirado pencils. They have been pretty good pencils to use and I've enjoyed drawing with them so much. Too bad the Mirado has not been made anymore.
like the old box...I watch most of these and still amazed by the amount of different pencils there are. I can't believe the things we just pass by without thought, and now I look at all the pencils I come across...thanks I think? Enjoy all your content
Hi MAMO - thanks for the fun stroll through your Eagle/Berol/Sanford collection! Some real gems in that old cigar box and some odd ones that I've never seen. Those blue Comfort pencils were nice. I enjoy the videos when you open one of your boxes and rummage through the contents...we never know what you're going to find!
Fascinating! I pass by the location of the former berol eagle site in Danbury CT which is now a shopping complex on Eagle Road. I am trying to find pencils manufactured at that location. I believe the sun 122 and mirando were made at that site. I'm trying to get info from some locals to see if they can tell me or show me any images of the site. I remember teachers telling me about how the pencil sharpeners where made nearby
I do love my vintage Eagle pencils too, especially the Turquoise drawing pencils. Thanks.
These are the most interesting and fascinating videos. Thank you for showing me how to appreciate the things that I take for granted.
That's precisely what I hope to do. Thank you for your kind words.
