Mate, that's one nice acceleration what mods beside the tuning is on the car? I did my Gs460 yesterday on dyno it came 277 on wheel and 291 on wheel after tuning ☹️ don't think sector7 can do mine remotely as am in the middle east hahaha
The GS460 isnt really detuned, but rather its restricted. The exhaust manifolds are log-style and truthfully just bad for power. Tune+Headers would get you pretty far up there. but no one makes headers for this thing, lmao. The S7 tune is really good though.
Top speed is limited to 139 on stock GS460s. This guy has a Sector7 tune that removes that limit. I bet you could get to 160+, but it's starting to run out of steam around the 140 mark, and at that point you're out of room.
@@Dd-mt5ol My bad, I got my numbers wrong. The GS460 is limited to 149 you're right. Not sure what an unlimited top-speed for the 350 would be, I have a 460 myself, and after changing my rear diff my top speed is officially 170 b/c i'll run out of gearing.

Well a tune is necessary in order to go past the stock rev limiter and honestly you’d probably be fine on a stock engine to do 7,000rpm as long as you don’t go there too frequently
A big difference was faster/more aggressive shifting that pretty much eliminated most of the torque management that slows down the shifts, but raising the rev limiter makes a huge difference, stock it shifts around 6400-6500 no higher than that but it keeps making power at 7000+ so acceleration improves significantly

I'm curious what year this car is. And can you turbo this or any other lexus? Heard from some of my car friends that you can only really tune and do little stuff but nothing big like turbos or superchargers

If you dknt mind me asking,what the Sector 7 tune cost? LS460s put 330330-340hp to the ground stock. I'd also like to try that TCM mod from a 2010 LS460 Sport. Can he make the torque converter lock in 2-8?
I dont think the LS makes that to the wheels, the LS uses a different connector for the TCU so tuning thru Sector7 is the only possible way to achieve it, and its possible get them to lock as its all in the software but its hard to access those maps especially since he's the only guy on earth cracking these things.
Just hit the dyno a week ago.. It feels like 330-340.. Its not. However sector7. Tuning is doing my tune as we speak I should have some vids with some times soon!

@Javi ls460 does make 330-340whp watch supercharged ls460 video they dynoed a stock ls at 339whp @6510 RPMs for about a 13% drivetrain loss which is right on the money

Yes the tune raises the redline, no changes to MPG but removing cats car gets better gas mileage
