OFgear TCU installation, 722.6 shifter repair and External speed Input

So i got a lot of work done this time
i started with the installation of the Ofgear TCU and the shifter,
also i got the External speed sensor installed and tested.
Also got the Sensor calibrated in the TCU.
The electronic speed that i got is also Tested
So at first i have A Shifter that is used in a W202 or R129
My shifter has a small edge between 3 to 4-D
in for example a W210 this is bigger

I have the shifter placed in the OEM place in the car
it will bolt on just like stock no mods needed.
I have the Ofgear controller place under dash on top of the transmission tunnel
this was for me the most easy position.
When i had the shifter connected to the controller . I found out that
my W-S switch was not working so i dismantled it and did a full clean up.
And got it working again
the shifter has 3 connectors . 2 connectors are not inlcuded with the controller
The Reverse/Park Lock and the Reverse back-up light switch

On my shifter also my Reverse/Park lock solenoide is broken so i ordered a new one
I have also a ABS sensor installed. This is a OEM R129 wheelspeeds sensor .
This signal can be used as a input on the Ofgear controller

I have also my Electronic speedo connected to the Ofgear controller .
This speedo will later be placed in the W201 dashboard.

What is very important
is that if you change settings for the speed sensor input and speed signal output to the
speedo you need to do this for the W-mode and also for the S-mode
Because there are 2 programs that can be used so the both need to be programmed for this
otherwise it will not work

Hello I have a range rover classic and this setup with a OM606 however my forward gears are not engaging beyond gear 1, what do I do?
You have enough oil in the transmission? The ofgear is looking to tps and speed signal. Do you have this connected and adjusted to real life value's. And are the shifts speeds correct
Hey! Ik wil een M119 in mijn w124 bouwen. De motor en alle toebehoren komen uit mijn S210 420. Is dit dan ook mogelijk om te maken? Want ik krijg straks problemen met mijn kilometerteller, omdat w210 anders is dan w124.
Voor een w124 kun je een V8 teller proberen te vinden. Uit een 400/420 of 500 w124 model dit zijn ook electronische tellers. Maar deze zijn zeldzaam en duur dus je kan ook een w126 teller aanpassen zodat hij past. Via de ofgear kan je dit ook werkend krijgen in een w124.

Im pretty sure.a 722.6 will.fit a.722.6 but but You have to check which belhousing and driveshaft connection You need to use .

What do you mean with fuel information?

What do you mean?. There is a reverse switch on the gearlever

Oem the car has also a reverse light switch on the Gear lever these wires are used

Hello I have 1998 mercedes e300 turbodiesel, my car wont start when I plug in the OF gear tcu gearbox plug, the wiring on their gearbox plug seems to be different. Any advice?
Of the car is not getting the signal it is in park you can not start the car it think. Try with the oem tcu . Put it in OR any other then P. See if IT starts. If IT doesn't start . Then you should find the signal to the oem car electronic for P. Try to have a look on ofgear.dk maybe there is some info
@@JMSpeedshop wiring is definitely different on of gear lever plug, PIN1 reads 5 volts on here, My OEM plug PIN1 reads 12 volts
