Gurf and I spent our summers in the same area in Ontario Canada. Years later I spent a great afternoon, evening and breakfast, the following morning with him, at a Fred Eaglesmith Charity Pic-nic.

Gurf is the best. He's candid, honest and a real genuine dude. I met him up in Barrie, Canada and actually sent him a few songs thinking it would be cool if he produced my stuff... nope, he didn;t really like it... but we always maintained a friendly communication thereafter... good fella!

Saw Gurf playing with Lucinda Williams around 1993.
It's ugly what alcohol can do, especially liqueur. I've had my days, I survived by am sure I was on obnoxious at times. That's a clever trick with the $10 to leave trick .....
