I was worried when I saw the companion trailer, but I've learned to trust Bioware with Dragon Age, even if I personally disagree with what styles/actions they take. In the end, I've loved all of the DA games (even though Origins is still my favorite). The story and companions are what make this series phenomenal. The lore is also incredible and so unique to other fantasy series. I love how all of it has evolved until now. While I hope we finally get a grand finale of this series with this game, I hope they can continue incredible stories in the future.
I will say this. People will find reasons to hate it and the people excited for it. People wanted to have a direct sequel to origins, but Bioware has made it clear that they won't be doing that. Personally I'm hyped about this game and I don't think people should be looking for the bad parts because then they're blind to what's good about it. I'm happy to see someone else as excited as I am

Your comment goes both ways you shouldn't be blind to a potential flaw a game has or ignore criticism. It is better to go into something with low expectations and either get what you expect or be genuinely surprised as apposed to blindly going along with the hype and ultimately being let down because the hype blinds you to what is bad and gives you unrealistic expectations.

It's like with food that has a bad name or doesn't look appealing, but when you try it you'll either love it or hate it

Regarding Dwarfs and magic, I recommend checking out The Descent again. There we do learn something about dwarfs and magic. I think, that thx to Valta & also Sandal Dwarfs are regaining the connection to the Titans again and start to retrieve their magic. At least to some degree.

Yes that's exactly what it is. It's fine to be critical. But it seems like a lot of people already had made up their mind to hate the game even before the trailers got out. And are nitpicking anything to confirm those thoughts.
I am so happy to see other positive reactions to this game. I have already pre-ordered this game and am so excited for the game. I love Lucanis with his purple wings. I think the game looks absolutely amazing. Sooo excited to play this. I may need to replay inquisition in preperation for The Veilguard.

The girl saying the artifact looks exciting is Dagna right? It looks like an Asian DEI Dagna lol. Remember Valta got magic from a Titan in Inquisition. Perhaps Harding is tapping into a titan? Who knows?
Might be the same voice actress that played Dagna, sounds a lot like her indeed. And yeah I think we'll be getting more titan related stuff, so exciting!
I find myself doubting you are a fan of Dragon Age. The original games had depth of story and mechanics with graphics that were good for their time(lets ignore DA2, that game was trash). This game looks like a mid to high tier mobile game and is lacking in both camera angle and combat mechanics.
Eh, Origins was still the best of the set. Too bad I can't play the legit copy I have on steam and have to use a cracked copy since the EA Origin system is both dysfunctional and has a very privacy violating EULA.

Maybe a concidence, but, on 31 is also samhain - a gaelic festival (the origin of halloween). to quote from wikipedia, because english is not my first language: "Samhain was a liminal or threshold festival, when the boundary between this world and the Otherworld blurred, making contact with the aos sí (the 'spirits' or 'fairies') more likely." - quite fitting for a game about lifting the veil, isn't it?
