From the research I made it looks like anything that’s exfoliating are a NO. For example AHa and BHA that includes any glycolic acids. I’m going to keep researching around and see, but for now is better not to risk. The one I can’t find nothing about is peptides and copper or vitamin C
@@zingara76 exfoliating and exfoliating ingredients are perfectly safe during pregnancy. 😊 The creator is v educated and I am a master esthetician and have had training in this as well 😊 as she said, "the dose makes the poison". As long as you are keeping the exposure to these ingredients to a minimum the baby will be just fine.
Same question. If topical vitamin a is unsafe. Any food containing vitamin a is unsafe as well!! Like carrots and things like this. I’m so confused. Of course pregnant women should avoid vitamin a all together due to risk of deformed babies.
@@loveit347You need vitamin A in pregnancy. What you need to avoid is excess vitamin A. In other words, keep consuming healthy foods that have vitamin A in moderation. Avoid vitamin A supplements and avoid retinol.
If someone is trying to get pregnant from which point they should stop using retinols . A lot of time people knows that they are pregnant after 2-3 months of conceiving
Thank you so much for the info! This makes me feel so relieved
Yessss!!! So happy you posted this. Too much fear mongering out there.
