I have a 2020 model. After 75 000 km I can't be more pleased with the car. I drive mostly on country roads and the highway. It drives really nice on the highway and i always use the cruise control. The car feels like a hit from VW but sadly they don't make that much money on it so it only sells in some markets now. Here in Sweden I got one of the last one in 2021. 0-100 km in 11 sec seems kind of slow but i reality it is fast enough in any situationen like going on the highway. Highway speed on the on ramp is no problems at all. And it's electric with instant torque regardless of speed. The lack of infotainment screen I solved by buying a Carpuride W901 pro that has Android Auto. The unit works really well and having navigation on a 9" screen is nice.
As a new buyit dies just not cut it but as a used second car its onbthe money. There are compromises of course no thermal management on the battery pack so if you decide to go on a longer journey and fast charge it will throttle the charge speed to protect it.
This is the true successor of the beatle, completely in line with the philosophy of what VW used to stand for: the affordable peoples car. Production of this model discontinued. Because VW is no longer interested in it’s own philosophy. It’s all in on profit now.
Front and rear design on the VW E-UP! are on another level. I’d choose it over its brethren for just that alone. Also Group 10 insurance as against Group 12 for the SEAT Mii. I think I’ve found my next car.
I've driven it 230kms on the highway at 110km/h with the AC on.
Marvellous car, I still love it.

The boot fits a full size spare wheel plus there is a rigid variable boot floor available also.
A great insight!!

чудовий огляд!
все вірно розповідає!
The original E-Up! Did have CCS DC charging, in fact it was 50kw vs 40kw on the new model..
How did you miss the cable storage in the boot
How tall are you dave? Would that car fit someone 6ft3? :D
Dave is about 1m 75
Ich bin 1,90m und es passt erstaunlich gut. Ich kenne keinen kleinstwagen in dem man als "großer" Mensch noch so gut Platz hat.
My son is 1.95m. no problem.
What happens if someone comes along and plugs it out messing?
This isn't possible as the charger locks itself in and can only be removed by unlocking the car.
It has to be a lot cheaper, the VW is extortionate, the identical Skoda and SEAT variants are much better value for money
Might be. Though I would buy the VW second hand. Yes, it's the same car, but the VW looks more grown up and has a nicer dash.
