Great review but would disagree with the assessment that the €27K price of this tiny city runabout is competitive and note from Stafano's comment that the same car can be bought in Italy for nearly half the price. Why in Ireland do we tolerate EU common market principles being trashed when it comes to cars. Just my two cents. If electric motoring is to succeed small cars will have to be priced appropriately.
We love our E-Up! A proper EV that just makes so much sense. But i wouldn't pay 27000€. We bought ours in France, fully loaded specs for 17000
Price drops here. You can get one now for €20k now...and a pre reg one for even lower!
2nd hand eGolf is also a good option with similar battery size and bigger interior and nicer interior spec
What is the real time range of new VW e up
A nonsense at high list prices but at £10k 3 years old what a great run around as always the used market decides the worth of a car.

What’s the cheapest?
I've an e-up in italy that I've bought at 15k, at 28k is totally worthless, I would rather buy a Tesla model 3 at 40k
@@fomora12 Tesla model 3 is sold at 40k new from Tesla, probably you can get one second hand with low mileage at about 35k
The price of cars now and what you get for nearly 30k crazy 👎
