Yeah, I'm not denying that. In the slightest. But the fact still remains that every year they inch a little closer with their games. As I said before, in a few years I think they'll be providing a product that is pretty darn close to their trailers.
I hope before Ubisoft's done with AC for good, we get a western game, or a game where your assassin's disguised as the mofia, but you're ezio's family (I forget how to spell his last name) and you kill rival gangs which are the templars.

You know that every AC game is being developed for 2-3 years by Ubisoft. AC Black Flag started out in September 2011. Ubisoft is such a big company that they have like 10 different "AC companies" spread across the world. So every AC game gets a lot of time with new ideas and development.
Ubisoft Montreal is the leading development team behind pretty much all of the Assassin's Creed games. There is the Bucharest, Singapore, Quebec, Massive etc development teams working on the game aswell. Even a year would be enough to push out a game with all that human resource. They don't take a year though, they split development teams on the games and lapse the development so that games developed in 2-3 years can therefore be releasable a year apart.
That's true. I've had people say it's been 2 years and made along side Assassin's Creed 3. Even so what I'm worried about is that when you make games concurrently instead of one at a time you might not have the ability to add features and improvements. I think games should try and improve with each interation rather than make more than one and just delay the release. Anyhow thats just my little opinion. ACI: the original assassin, AC2: new assassin, italy, dual hidden blades, swim, brotherhood: introduced the ablilty to recruit assassins and use them effectively, revelations: develop a sync point with 3 assassins, black room, hook blade ACIII: AMERICA! Revolutionary war, new assassin, naval combat. ACIV: new assassin, pirates, free roam naval with 60/40 land sea map, and a full ocean to explore! I loved every one of these games, and i am definitely not worried of it becoming "Call of Duty"
Be thankful to Altaïr man! He is the Alpha Assassin, the Legendary Mentor, The Greatest Assassin of all time! And if it wasn't for him Ezio wouldn't be an Assassin.
I dont think many people about the graphics for the Xbox 1 but in order for people to carry on buying Playstations they need to keep on improving the graphics for it and keep their reputation. Because if you put the xbox and the ps3 next to eachother on the same game people can tell that the graphics are so much better for the Ps3. (If I have any bad grammar in this text, please forgive me)
I don't even care if they make a game annually, I play it for the compelling story as a campaign type of gamer, personally I've loved every single one so far :).

Played a lot of different games growing up from ps1 a lot of different series and companies, but I have to say assassins creed has been the best series I have every played, ubisoft = the best, only wished online could be open world with huge ship battles with friends :p
well its kinda hard for it to continue because even in real history the assassins were only in the crusade but they still have the live by the creed in it too with life of a pirate beside it and they are still focusing on the 3 main pillars stealth,combat,adventure so i think it will be a good game(plus ac3 was a good game,and srry if you are not saying its bad it just sounds like it)

Well apparently some of the games' developmental periods overlap....AC3 started development when AC2 was about to be released. I have no idea when AC4BF started development though.

I play it on the N64, but like I said earlier, I don't think graphics are the ONLY thing being improved. AIs can still get smarter, controls more polished, and more ideas are coming to life that could not exist on older consoles. New generations are good IMO, that's all I'm trying to say. No. Achilles was 10-12 years old in this game's setting. AC 3 took place 44-68 years after this game's setting.
