Edward Kenway: Died Once he fully took on the life as an assassin, choosing his family Haytham: Died staying to his templar beliefs, choosing his son over himself Connor: Everything he did was at the end of the day, to save his people, only for his efforts to cause him to lose everything he once stood upon, but in his efforts he rebuilt davenport homestead better than it ever was, staying true to himself throughout all of it, not just the Creed, eventually living a decent live at the homestead. It's satisfying to see that despite the sad ends of the grandfather and father, Connor gave the kenway family a happy ending. Connor lost everything he had, but at the same time regained a new village, a new tribe with the davenport homestead. I love the kenway saga, imo it's where assassin's creed peaked.

For those who would say Connor and Edward dealt with the same things are wrong. Edward was materialistic and lost the woman he loved. Connor cared about change, and you can actually get him a wife through a side mission. Connor lost and dealt with a lot. But in the end he’s very well more than likely the only one in his family to see the end of his life - not at the end of a sword like Haytham and Edward, or without having to sacrifice himself like Desmond. So Connor is the only true member of his family to change the world and his life and actually enjoy it

I hated Black Flag, I didn't like the naval missions and how much the game relied on them, I didn't like how it was made because it felt like something was wrong all the time and the main character wasn't really likeable...
