@@DezorianGuy correction: i solved Grotto relatively quickly, but it took time to find the silver key hidden in it which unlocks the (optional) chest at the beginning of the mansion island, as long as i remember
Xiiiii....i played this game Over and Over 30 years ago! I won a game for free on a magazine/paper concourse that was on diskettes...and later had the CD-ROM version with voices on the soundblaster! Good Times. I liked this game a lot! My childwood good memorys....
Something not a lot of players might pick up on, but that scale with the rocks hanging in Brandon's home is actually a hint to the door mechanism in Serpent's Grotto For the longest time I thought it was impossible to reach the subterranean volcanic river with fireberries as they are not enough bushes within range. But now it looks like that's not true after all. Still, it means that map on GameFAQs is slightly inaccurate, the mapper made a few rooms with bushes looked like there was nothing there, and that deterred exploration
Kind sir, I notice on your playlist, there isn't a game been played yet for the Atari Jaguar. If it's alright with you even though I've have a list of titles mention on the request list, would it be possible to include another one called, "Super Burnout". This game arrived for the Jaguar in 1995 by French studio developer, Shen Technologies SARL. If this game was released earlier, it could've been enough to convince gamers with the Jaguar on how much of a beast it was on pushing pixels and sprites in which no other console came close. The one death I cannot find a video of anywhere, is what happens if you fail the copyprotection in the floppy version of the game (two, one at beginning of chapters 2 and 5).
The MacIntosh version had a better Timbermist Woods track. You could select betwen low and high impact music. Low impact was the same as the DOS soundtrack. High impact Timbermist was an extended version of the pegasus track that was much improved. I can't find any recordings!

20 years ago, it took me almost half a year to solve the Serpent's Grotto puzzle and then another half a year to craft the orange potion
Serpent's Grotto is just such a massive time sink designed to pad out the game - cool atmosphere, but so much aimless wandering!
Somehow it took me some time to sort the gems.

My uncle played this game on his amiga and finished it without tips ... i was fascinated by this game when i was very young.

I think the layout of the grotto is slightly different between disk and CD-ROM versions
I also noticed how out of tune the music goes (good old midi baseline) :D at 1:06:30 ish when he re-enters the serpent's grotto :D
