Or, like Maine and Nebraska the electoral votes could be split based on senatorial districts. This would put an immediate stop to swing states where a few thousand votes can decide the election. If it has been done in these two states then it can be done in every state without too much hassel.

Watching from over the pond -which has only happened since seeing the riots on Jan 6th 2021, previous to that didn't take too much interest in American politics but that was such a shock ... Worried for American friends, but also for the rest of the western world, including over here, 'cause we'll all be affected by what goes down there. What Katyal is saying, is something that's been a growing worry for a while - the election may be completely over-ridden rough-shod by the M*aga Mobsters, whatever happens and has happened over the last few months and years, however well democrats have done to re-shape their ticket in record time and propose a new way forward for all. It even makes sense that Tr*mp doesn't give a F*ck what he says, at his rallies, to anyone, anywhere, how he treats people, how he is dividing America and many other nations looking on.
