I worked at a covid testing center both in the hospital and outside car lines. At the most that I remember in one day, nearly 1000 cars 🚗 drove up to us. People asked me so so many questions that really wasn't in my field of expertise. I saw fear in these faces. People weren't allowed to come back to work 😒 for weeks until their results came back. The other friend doesn't understand why I dislike Trump because (wait for it), she thinks he's "entertaining". Wtf 🤯!! I have no idea what news outlets either are getting their info from, or more to the point, what news outlets they're not watching in order to miss all of this, and they have often counter-acted my comments with something that, of course, can be debunked almost immediately. And yet neither still gets it, or sees it. They're both life-long friends, and all other aspects of our relationship is great. None of us are American, so Trump just isn't brought up anymore. He's created enough division in his own country as it is.
