My gen 1 had issues I had to cut the feed ramps put in stronger extractor re profile it so it was sharper and worked less hard. New stronger firing pin spring and longer firing pin. But for 169.00 I was happy and was very accurate. I’m sure they’ve sorted it

@@Cory14Tina02 Just like the 2nd amendment protects us, so does the 5th.. I refuse to answer questions. haha *edit* and Cory, with the only other products on the market costing $300+ for what equates to a hinge with a spring pin... theyre products that bearcreek could easily dominate the marketshare and win themselves more spotlight. Ill design them myself if they can't figure out how to create an alternative solution to patent..

Side note not mentioned: in the process of installing a Superlative Arms adjustable gas block recently, I noticed that they ship with the gas port adjustment screw in the fully closed position. If not altered prior to first round of test shots, you WILL encounter a failure to cycle. I personally recommend opening the adjustment screw about one full revolution prior to your first shot. If you get a failure to cycle, stovepipe, or rearward ejection, you are still under gassed and should adjust accordingly.
Other than that, yet another great and insightful video, Lamar. I'm so happy y'all are carrying such a great gas block. I'm just wondering how long it will be before we get the option to choose rifles & complete uppers with these pre-installed. Maybe we can get an option for standard or BCA-VG6G muzzle devices in the future too...? Hint hint. Lol

Superlative AGB's are great. Read the adjustment instructions. They exhaust gases out through a hole, or the user can use it like a valve ...reduce gas flow only. I use one on a 308.

While I've upgraded to more "premium" AR15s, I still fire my BCAs and the value is really great for the price. The customer support was on point too which I always preach, adds value to any product. While these aren't battle rifles, I can appreciate the need to fill affordable AR15s and gun parts for the newer or more budget minded shooter.
It's because of companies like Bear Creek Arsenal that I got into firearms and the pro 2A movement. I wouldn't have been able to afford AR15s like Radians and ADMs like I can now.

I had that problem with mine. I just took a Dremel with a wire wheel and cleaned the coating off the pin and in between the legs of the pin with some emery cloth. Comes out fairly easy, and goes back in with a firm push. Not like all the junk m16s A2s and m4s I dealt with in the airforce

I have a 300WSM on a 26.5 in barrel, with magnum length but, stock blocks cause the pressure to attempt to rotate too soon so, I'm dropping gas to zero and will work up to a good range...

Unless you have a 16" 300bo running a pistol length gas system under a 15" handguard & can't quite get a good angle through one of the cutouts. In which case, you're kinda screwed if you want to run a can with that configuration.

@@hopewilliams6705 yeah, those can be a bit hairy, especially if you're terrified of snapping one of the tabs while tapping the pin home.
I've found that a nice block to stabilize the receiver and a nice small spring loaded needle nose pliers holding your pin, and even squeezing it a bit smaller to start off, helps installation greatly. Not much can be done unfortunately about potential damage anxiety.
